So today I plugged my mopho into the dock and my phone would not allow touch command on screen...anyone have this happen yet? The screen was unresponsive to any commands.

This happened to me today and a reboot didn't fix it so I restored a previous nandroid and it works again.
I tried a reflash...no go...so now I'm stumped

Did you do a nand restore? When you backup or restore, make sure you include webtop.
Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk
Didn't nand restore...what I ended up doing is a full wipe then reinstalled the latest ROM. After I did that I let the phone load for about an hour then tried again. Worked after that. Had to reroot but got everything back again. What a pain in the ass!

I don't know if this affects anyone else but I have noticed that on more than one occation that if I hold down the power button and click restart phone that the phone will power down but will not reboot. I have to manually power it back on. Not a huge deal but wanted to see if this is happening to anyone else.
yup, has happened to me as well.
Same here, IDK why.
Been broke since day 1 for me..

Same here along with heating checked list said was part of list to replace gave me new phone this morning
Sorry, working as it should here. Must be some app you fellas installed.
Mines worked fine, every time.
Mine just stays off as well.
Mines never worked. Did factory reset with no luck. Would this be a good enough reason to get an exchange without a restocking fee??

Not sure could have something to do with fast boot and certain apps
If you don't have an Evo3d well you don't have an Evo3d
Ok I just restarted again and it worked...

Same here. Since day 1. Also my brother evo too.
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I also have wiped my phone.

It's happened twice today.. This and touchscreen issues I'm pretty sure will be fixed with update coming.
I also get the touch screen issue. It only works on someplaces of the screen.

I exchanged mine because of this issue. Haven't had it since.
I cut a ribbon cable trying to replace the screen in my girlfriends Dinc. Now the repairs cost more than I want to spend so i'm going to sell it as broken on Ebay.
Question is, is there a way to wipe everything/hard reset it without the display working? When I power it on it does that short vibrate so I know it's still working. Just can't see anything.

If you have rooted and adb configured, you can try: adb shell wipe data.
Never had it rooted

You could try flashing the stock rom (using RUU).

It doesn't have to be.
I have scoured and exhausted all my resources trying to figure out where I went wrong besides not making a backup.
I unlocked my device and rooted it before attempting any of the following.
I got my HTC Rezound and flashed the CWM Recovery image 5.5.0.4. After I flashed the boot image CleanROM 1.5.5. When my phone booted up I had lost all signal. For some reason it occasionally gives me 1x then goes back to no signal at all.
Figuring it was something wrong with CleanROM I followed the super noob guide to installing ZiggyROM. I flashed over the recovery image with the one requested in the thread.
Again when my phone booted back up I have no signal.
I would appreciate any and all help given to me.
Thank you
Bump I really need help

This.
If not that, I'd say make sure you flashed the boot.img...granted that really shouldn't change anything with the radio and signal.

Also, there have been reports of problems using CWM. Switch to Amon Ra and reflash.

This.
AmonRa is what Scott uses to test on. He doesn't use CWM. Although I haven't had a problem with it before flashing AmonRa myself to ensure a flawless 2.0 flash.

Dude, I feel like a total dumbass. But thank you for your incredibly simple and forehead smacking response. I was having the same issue as OP, and had already reflashed a few times. Thank you!

I took out my micro SD card to show someone what it looked like..and I went to put it back in and it wouldn't go.. something wouldn't let it..so I took it home when I got off work and took it apart..got it back in just fine..no issues.. about 2 days later needed a light so I opened up my flashlight app to use it.. and my led flash wouldnt turn on... tries my camera...something.. says "failed to initialize" and closes.. disassembled it again took a look...no damage..no water damage etc.. so I used my nandroid backup of then original I made...back from when I just rooted it..same thing...ideas guys?
Does it really matter where from? I replied‚ didn't I?

Is there a reason why my phone freezes so much?? I'm a pretty big noob. I was given this phone as a gift from my brother in law, as my 1st cell phone. It seems to freeze a lot..esp when trying to txt ppl.
Thanks

It's also acting like im pressing buttons when im not..
Is that a digitizer issue? Would a replacement help?
I have gotten issues like this before....
If you are rooted, I would recommend re-flashing the rom (make sure to do a full wipe) or changing the rom while you are at it
let me know if this helps...
