Hey,
One night at the club my phone stopped working completely. Wont turn on, with or without battery, on power. It was very hot/humid in the club and i did sweat, but i dont think it touched the phone. Samsung wont accept my phone because i bought it off ebay.

well obvs it won't turn on without the battery lol. Good a spare battery? If the phone has been penetrated by any liquid.. give it a few days to dry off.. still it might be damaged.. best bet it to wait, or take it to a repair shop, see what they say if they open it.
Send it off. If they wont repair it because it has water damage, take it apart and clean it. Worked with me after i dropped it in the sea.
Good Luck mate

Ok I have ahuge problem. My 3125 will not turn on or charge. A few times it turned on for a few seconds and I would the multi colored bars like when you do a reflash. Right now my phone is dead. I plug it in the charge light will not go on or anything. I have insurance on it with ATT and I think I might have to use it. I have only had the phone for a year. Can you please help me I would like to get the phone going again if I could. I am just not sure what I can do when I can not even get it to turn on.
At least I had my old Nokia to use till I get a new phone or this one up and going.
alled up I would get a Pantech C810 and I would have to pay a $50 deducable. Is this a good phone and work giving up my 3125 for?
what happens when you turning it on?
try to remove battery, wait a few minutes, and try to turn it on again
I pull the battery and get nothing when I re-install. I went to a local ATT store any they checked it out and it is toast. Woman there had he husbans phone do the same thing.
Well I called up and I am getting the Pantech Duo. Well be nice to finaly have a G3 phone at least. Went to the store first and the phone felt good. Got to play with it a little. Screen is about the same size just a little thicker then my 3125. I do have to say the keyboard will be nice to have also.
Hi guys, so I just received a refurb I777 from AT&T today. Put in the battery and tried turning it on. Got the black battery with a circle thing around it, and figured I need to charge it.
It's been charging for like 2 hours now, I feel the battery getting hot, but it wont turn on. It's not a phone issue because my other I777 battery works fine. Do I just let it charge more? I don't know why its not turning on, and it's a pretty big hassle to get a replacement through AT&T...
It should turn on by now. Try pulling battery for a few and putting it back in then turn it on. If that doesnt work i would call att back and explore your options with them.
It's funny, I take out the battery with the phone still plugged in, and I can see the phone flash as if its trying to turn on. Put in the battery, and nothing happens. Such a pain going through AT&T, giving me the runaround. Hate them.

Sounds like your battery has a short.
sent from my Shostock Sgh-I777 running siyah!
So basically its broken? This is a replacement phone, so I'm thinking of just swapping the battery with my working phone that I'm going to return. Been on hold for 30 minutes. This is BS.

My phone has died today.
It will not turn on with my own battery , while plugged to charged, or with someone else's charged battery.
The phone heated up once in a while and would shut the screen off, but the keys would still work. There was also no way to turn the screen on, unless you turned it off some way.
It kept heating up a couple of times a day every once in a while.
Next thing I know, today it heated up, turn off, and now it will not start at all.
I never over cloacked it all the way up.. was almost always on "Ondemand."
- What do you think I could do?
Send it to HTC, call tmobile tell them it doesnt work and get replacement, go to tmobile store, other... ?
Sounds like a hardware issue so you shouldn't have an issue with warranty I would think so anyways

if you have insurance from tmobile either you had it on another phone it will cover it,
software or hardware, they will sent you one. "over night shipping" for the cost fee of
$5 bucks
you should not have a problem to do so, and if you dont have insurance i guess is call htc!!!
by the way did you tried to go to bootloader or fastboot?

just yesterday my phone was working fine, but until i've enter the MGM grand gardens arena for a company convention, right before i step into the arena my phone was working fine, just until i walk in and situated myself, i didnt realize the phone was no longer able to turn on. the room was blast with loud music and loud bass, maybe the bass has somehow interfered with the signals and cause it to short circuit?
I was running meanrom ICS v2.4 with 4ext bootloader.
so my question is, is it brick? i've tried to put into a charger and no light was on, i've change the battery no luck to even turn it on.
thanks folks.
to me sounds like a bad battery..have you tried another battery in it?
Sounds like the battery may of died could be dead or your phone just took a nap and isn't wanting to wake up.. Just pull the battery out slap it back in and see if you get any red light or get it to power back up..
Bricking only happens via wrong radio flash gsm via CDMA or you yank the battery out in the middle of a flash.
I have tried pulling the battery and change to a different batter and it's still NO go, so not sure what happen with the phone, guess i'll bring it into the sprint to see what they can do.

Try to leave it charging for like 30 mins see if it comes back on before you take it to sprint.

since you think it is a brick. you can always send it to me and I'll have a new free phone. lol sadly one fault with our phones is if the battery dies. you have to take the battery out and charge it in a third party device for 5-10 minutes... then you can charge it the rest of the way with your phone. I WISH THEY WOULD FIX THIS! SADLY I haven't been able to buy backup batteries and a charger for this phone yet.
well, came back to LA, took the phone apart and resemble again, then it magically work again...oh well, dont know what causes it, i guess it just need a reboot in circuitry...kinda strange, but hey, it now works...dont need to spent $400 buck for a new phone.

I just leave my phone charging for a while after it completely dies and it comes back on and works fine it just takes a minute to fully charge again. I have not yet used a third party device.

Luckily it came back on for you.
hmm
try pulling the battery out for 30 minutes and then put the cable back in then the battery then turn it on, if this doesn't work you could buy a wall charger for the battery so you can charge the battery without the phone
Hi all, i got my Galaxy S2 about a year ago (9100 normal, non AT&T or verizon or another else ) and i never encountered problem like this. One day i was texting on the toilet, and unfortunately it fell down on a bowl of water and its all soaked. I just turn it of and take out the battery, when i turn on it again, the start mode triggers, the icon Samsung igt 9100 is showing up and it keeps blinking and blinking, bootlooping. many of my friend said that it is fine and just wait for the water inside the machine to dry up, like one week or so. but after one day i tried to turn it on, the yellow triangle below the 9100 logo is gone ( i think its resetted and everything is gone ) and it went to download mode. But after that, i was not careful enough and my battery fell off, and the phone is turned off dead. and after all of that, i can't even turn on the phone, nothing happened, its like a dead phone without battery.
i went to many forums and many people tried to fix it using the download mode USB jig recovery kit, i bought the i9100 USB jig on the eBay, its arrived today. I tried to plug in on my phone, and i try to turn it on and even every boot method ( download mode, and recovery mode ) and holding the power, still nothing happens. what should i do...?? does that means my cellphone is dead forever? :crying::crying:
You should have put it in a bowl of dry rice for a couple of days to completely dry it out. I think you turned on your phone too soon with the risk of having it f**cked for good.
You seem more accident prone than Mr Bean.
Stick it on eBay

when i plugged it into my pc, it works, it says that device is not recognized but it still shows, i think it might be some hope, can somebody help me
Unfortunately it is dead, because you did not wait til it dryed out before starting. You fried the flash chip which contains the information for the phone to run.
Only way to fix it is to replace the motherboard. Which means it becomes a new phone with different IMEI.

plug in the charger and let it charge for few hours. You should have left the phone to dry before switching on

will it cost much?
I doubt there's anyone here who can tell you how much. That will depend on how much parts & labour are in your country. Send it in & find out.
