I found this over in the Nexus section. Gameloft is giving away "Let's Golf" for a limited time. Someone over in the Nexus One section uploaded the .apk because in order to get the game you needed to download/install something else. I'm not exactly sure if this is supposed to be free ONLY for Nexus users, so if it is, I guess this thread would be considered "warez" and should be closed.
Here's this .apk...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=361664&d=1279324137
Instructions...
-Install the .apk
-Enter Airplane mode (disables all data)
-Install the game and launch it (Still don't enable data)
-It will tell you to download the game's data, choose yes.
-It will ask you to download with Wifi or 3G, choose Wifi.
Works just as described. Nice find
thanks! worked perfectly
Thanks! Downloading data now.
I followed the steps and everything was downloaded. But now when I open the game it goes blank and reverts back to the homepage. Any suggestions?
*** Nevermind, I uninstalled and deleted all the downloaded files for Game Loft and reinstalled and it works like a charm. Good find!
Works like a charm! Its reminds me of one of my top "quick play" games for the PSP, Hot Shots Golf.
Awesome!! Thanks!

Put the apk file on your sdcard and open file explorer. Install the file from there.
When I try to download the link, I get an error saying its unupported file type. Unknown sources is checked. Any idea why?
Does not work for me as well. Mail screen will load, but says it's not the original version of the game, than it boots me out.
Thanks ultra spike great post. I appreciate anything free. It works like a charm.

William, follow directions exactly and you should befind. Even install and 5o back and reinstall. I had to do that cuz I wasnt in a wifi spot.follow exact directions and you will have game.
I havent downloaded anything thru the browser on the vibrant yet i just got it my self coming from the HD2 but when i had my G1 i had to have ASTRO file manager to allow me to download files from the browser.
Working perfectly for me....thanks so much for the link!!!!
Note: if you are getting the " it's not the original version of the game" message, go to your apps, uninstall it.....go back to first post and follow the directions and it'll worked perfectly
Don't have time to play it now but it installed perfectly for me. Thanks!
is this downloadable via the browser?
Update: May have went the long way in doing this but I don't have my usb cable here at work. Downloaded to my pc, changed file extension to .zip. Attached in email and sent it to my gmail account. Download to phone and save attachment using astro file manager. Changed file extension to .apk. Don't know if its going to work but the icon changed to the picture of the game so I'm guessing it may have worked.
I will see if it work when I connect to a wifi network later on today.
Update: That above method works in you are on the go and do not have a usb cable available
Works completely fine as instructions shown. Downloaded, hooked it up via USB, APK on sdcard then unmount... used ASTRO to install.. airplane, open app, choosed wifi and done.

You know you can send yourself an apk through gmail and download it through gmail in the web browser, but not the gmail app.
What ultra spikey said....
Copy link and email it to yourself.....and then open the email and link from your phone and it'll automatically download it

Hi Every1!. Ive been tryng to look for a fix. When I try to download a jpg from the email app I get the following error "unable to copy photos... error code -109". also when I try to download using the webe browser from my email I get a mime error. I already downloaded Internalz Pro and still doesnt work. Please help
Thanks in advance
when you are in your email do you just click on it? try holding down until it gives you the option to save it. it is likely that its trying to just open it. hold down and hit save or download. and then open with internalz pro.
There has been a problem with the Muffle Logging tweak that has upset mail downloads as reported by some (and I have seen it too). I am still not convinced the latest version has fixed it.

I'm actully downloading the pictures. When I try to download it tell s me that I need to erase some pictures to because the folder is full. How can it be full I have a 32 GB and havnt done aything.
I am not sure I have one issue or two (and my search of the forum has not yielded any answers).
When I tried to download a pdf from the web, I got an error message: "<untitled>
Download unsuccessful".
Also, when I try to access files from my Dropbox, and I get either 1) the same type of download unsuccessful error (if I am trying to view a pdf) or 2) "thumbnail failed to load" if it is a picture. If I try to export the photo to another program, such as Gallery or QuickPic, I get "storage full or unavailable."
My Nook Tablet is rooted and running CM7 (internally). I can download content from the market.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
I had that problem with cm9, it was because it didn't recognize that my SD card was inserted. I just had to take out my SD then put it back in.

Shakes_aqua put the following lines in your build.prop file and see if that helps.
net.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.dns2=8.8.4.4
Reboot after adding these.

I've had a similar issue, and in my case this resolved it...through some googling i found out that the browsers are automatically being proxied to an unknown host and that caused this problem..What you could do is Install this App...APL DEMO from Google Play..
Run the App..Enter a URL like : "google" please put it in a URL format
You would see an option "Test : Get URL" choose that
you would see that some traffic is generated and you will be able to send a request to google.
After you do that..choose the Edit option
and leave the Host name blank
and also the Port blank and Save the settings.
After this is done Choose the option Test : Open URL in new window
Try putting in a URL and now your Browsers should work just fine.

Hi.
I can not open webpage "forum.xda-developers.com" in any browser in my Xperia Z2 :crying:. This issue comes with update to lollipop 5.1.1. I have rooted stock ROM 23.4.A.1.232.
I tried browsers: Boat, Dolphin, Firexox, Chrome. It is no matter, if I am connected with WiFi or 3G, 4G. I can not open xda-developers application too. I tried to change DNS in my phone, nothing helped. I can open normally web page "xda-developers.com", but when I hit to "log in", web page can not open, only i can see: "net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"
How can I fix it?
BTW: My son has rooted Xperia Z2 with lollipop 5.0.2 and he has no issues...

Issue solved. I found solutiuon in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59821937&postcount=7
Hi Fakuivan, you can resolve the upload unknown error by disabling the “Preload Pages” option. To do that you need to follow these steps. In the start, open your Google Chrome and in the URL Section, put this URL and tap Enter chrome://settings/cookies. You will be able to find more solutions by following this link https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-error-err_name_not_resolved-on-google-chrome/ now. Now go for the option named Preload pages for faster browsing and searching and ensure that it is unchecked. In the end, you can restart your Chrome and check to see if the error has been fixed or still there. We hope that this method will most probably fix the issue you are facing.
