hi people of O1 i have a question hi don´t now if somebody already ask this but hi dont find any thread for our phone about this, it´s possible to unlock bootloader for lg p500???
for what hi read for others phones it´s a great if not the best feature and tool to have in a android phone...
my question is, is this possible for our phone if so where can we find tips to do on optimus one???
thank you all...
Lg o1's bootloader is unlocked by default, thats the reason we can flash custom kernels.

ok,but we do that by recovery menu if it´s unlocked by default is there a default bootloader menu??
hope you understand what i´m asking because i dont write english very well...
EDIT. well you make me think about coming open by default and hi use an app to reboot to bootloader since hi dont have a power menu on my rom,
and it reboots to fastboot mode so i´m getting the picture recovery menu it´s more friendly use....
but i read somewhere here in xda that flash a recovery or a rom by fastboot mode is somehow mor safe for all phones because flash memory as some kind of lifetime but that´s another war ,i think that now i have the bases to learn another way to play with the phone thank´s for your help....

Please don't ask same question in different threads
Most phones from for example HTC did have a locked bootloader, but with already released or upcoming updates this lock will be removed. Don't know if Samsung does the same also for some of the phones which have a locked bootloader.
If you want to know ik a specific phone has a locked bootloader, perhaps Google can give you an answer.

The ability to install custom kernel on our phone itself tells that our bootloader is unlocked.Idk any other way to check it.

There's no way to delete recovery for unlocked bootloaders as recoveries on ulbl are directly in the kernel and not on the system or anywhere on phone partition.
I have a doubt... what happen if you relock your bootloader while on an unlocked bootloader rom (like ferabab v20) ? will it still boot up?

is it also possible to disable the phone from entering flashmode on either locked or unlocked bootlaoder?
i dont want ppl to steal my phone and flash over it to use as their own ?
i mean how to disable flash using computer (eg. SEUS, flashtool) not disable recovery?
pls tell me. thx.
Root your sisters phone and unlock the bootloader then flash the kernel,Wifi and all other things required and once you installed the ROM lock the bootloader using flashtool, that would do the trick.. having CWM is a safe option as anything goes wrong its easy to fix using CWM right..
I have a question to ask

If you still like your phone and it's okay for you to use such a small phone, unlock the bootloader and try a custom rom
And if that's not enough for you, you are even able to buy a new phone then

Nope....Like Rhyskymud said ,it will allow custom ROMS like JellyBean and allow custom kernels ...The performance boost is incremental not phenomenal ...meaning ...Dont expect your phone to become Xperia Z magically ....It will be a better MDPI device certainly ...

Hmmm...Well it's all come down on how much MONEY you have right now....
if you have enough money to buy new model then go and buy new one but if you don't have it and you phone bootloader can be unlocked then unlocked it and flash custom roms...
I tried searching for custom ROMs for my LG Optimus L9, but didn't come up with any successful results. I also tried to CyanogenMod, but there too the phone was not listed. Can someone tell me some of the ROMs for the phone?
Thanks.
[PS: I am new to this site so sorry if I am breaking some guideline in this post]

P760 rom is compatible with P765 (Remove Nfc.apk by root browser to disable NFC). But you must unlock your phone boot loader first. You're new here so I assume that your phone bootloader is still locked. If you install custom rom without unlock bootloader, you will get security error.
PS. you should post this question in FAQ forum.

Does unlocking the bootloader wipe all the phone data? Also, I want to install CWM recovery. But when I installed ROM Manager, it said that CWM is not yet available for my phone. Do you know of any workaround?

It wipe all your data. So you need to do a backup first. Please use Locked BL CWM, it's somewhere in dev forum. And it's good that CWM recovery doesn't support P765 because if you install CM, you will soft-brick your phone. You must unlock your phone bootloader before flash any custom rom.
I have been surfing the web for couple of days to find a way to unlock the bootloader for LG G5 H860, but i couldnt find any thing
could any one help me with that ?
not possible. H850 EU only... as stated on the official site as well as the XDA G5 thread for bootloader unlocking.
To expand on what @autoprime said, at the moment, the only model that can have the bootloader unlocked is the H850.

probably not YET possible. We still have to wait for someone to discover an exploit. Non-unlockable bootloader doesn't necessarily mean no root forever, there are billions of ways out there to do it, but no one has found it yet for our variant. I remember rooting my Xperia Acro S without unlocking it (even though it was possible at that time). I love the phone anyway, even without root.
any update about unlocked boot loader for h860 (dual sim)?
Thanks!

I've graduated to the G5 from the G3, the bootloader for which was locked down tight by LG. The geniuses working on the G3 developed an exploit called Bump! that let users flash ROMs on the G3 despite its locked bootloader. It would be nice if something equivalent could be developed for the G5.
