Does anyone have the apk for the latest version of GTalk (1.3.3 I think?). I was disappointed to find that the version installed does not have video chat, and I use GTalk to see my daughter who lives 2,000 miles away from me. Can't find an upgrade in the market either...

You guys are awesome, thanks! Unfortunately I'm too chicken to root this baby (lost my job and can't risk bricking), and vtok freezes after about 10-15 minutes. I could have sworn I read that all 2.3.4 devices would have GTalk w/video capabilities. Anyone know why the Mo-Pho is exempt from that?
Guess I'll have to re-root the Flyer...

I was really afraid of rooting my Photon and messing it up too. It's a very easy process and can be done either with one-click, through your computer via the torpedo command line, or through a terminal emulator on the phone...I might have missed one. Google "How to root Motorola Photon without dock". I'm still green with rooting and flashing ROMs too...but once you do it the first time, unlike "your first time", you'll probably be pretty satisfied!

My gift was this 1 cent marvel of a phone.....but ICS would be a great followup gift...unlock that nasty ole bootloader.
Anyone have this available? It's the stock weather app that comes on our GS2's. I like it and miss it. Thanks!

I like the widget but it has limitation such no zipcode search and even with city, it's very limit. I still can't believe it does not have Westminster, CA or Chantilly, VA.

You might want to try that again, I was just able to bring up both those cities. when you type them into the search field they won't populate under the search field until you hit three search button. Then they come up. There has not been much I can't find for Towns with this app.

You bastards haven't missed me? Pfft! Hahahahaha. I'm alive, still have my photon. And that **** served me well. I tried to buy a US sim card from h2o. Pure crap. Didn't work. But. I bought a European one, popped it in. And I was off like clockwork. Phone worked great, and gave me service in some pretty remote ass backward places. So I'm happy with it. Even if I get a new phone, keeping this one for travel purposes.

One of our members in the forums, datboiwizzie, received a text message via his Verizon Wireless Mobile IM app that pretty much spells out that Android 4.0.x is on it's way. With all the rumors circulating of various release dates and server issues, this latest text message looks to be official confirmation that the update is days away. We can't see Big Red sending out a text of this nature and waiting another month to push out the update, but that's just us.
We'd like to hear from the community. Has anyone else received this message?
UPDATE: We are getting reports in from members (comments) and Facebook Fans that they are receiving the same message. A Xoom user reported also reported in. We're almost there.....

Whether it's useless depends on the person reading it. I for one found it VERY helpful because I was considering flashing to a "leak" which I've been trying hard NOT to do because I want to remain stock and this helped me make a decision to at least go ahead and give them another week.

Day late and a dollar short, you could of at least explained that the text received was informing mobile IM users that the app will not be there when they get ICS, also NOWHERE is it stated in the text (some one posted a pic in the original thread here) that it will be this month, it just said SOON, don't twist your definition of a word in to a "confirmed" by end of month line.

Ummm dude, I've been following this section every since the 10 of June and I feel the same way YOU do about the rest of them, but THIS one actually helped me because others in the link got the message also and THIS time the message wasn't just another "sometime this month possibly" message, it was actually from legitimate VERIZON SERVERS which indicates that there is at least good cause to believe it will definitely be by the end of this month and no later. For me, it meant it's at least worth waiting another week, that was MY point. And that's why I said FOR ME at least it WAS helpful. I was speaking for myself

I'm not bashing sorry if it sounded that way I would just hope everyone on this forum with a Verizon razr would know by now that ICS this month or from what moto said 2nd quarter would have read about it all ready. Unless you just got your razr and never heard anything about one I could see noobs posting these topics but most of these are coming from users that have been around since before June even started! Exactly my thoughts. Motorola's development page says release in Q2. Were the Xoom release spans wrong? Well they have it now, so ours is close.

I believe that 6-12 was the .210 leak, what about those other 2 severs with 6-18 updates?
I'm on MeanRom 3.9 (which is based on latest OTA 2.13) I doubt it's anything specific with MeanRom but something with the latest OTA.
It's driving me crazy. It does not seem to happen on this forum but another forum I frequently visit.

I think it has to do with backing out. When I back out it posts again.

Have you tried the xda app or tapatalk? I use xda and it is much better than using the browser imo...
