Hey gang does anyone have the stock transition animations for the photon? I thought they were in the animation mod app but there not.
Awaiting Assimilation
Any idea where they are or what they may be called?
I'm trying to find out where they might be on the EVO 3D hopefully they will be in the the same place
Awaiting Assimilation
They are in the framework-res.apk. Change it to a zip file and then look in res, anim. The animations are in anim folder.

Ok thanks ill look into it
Does anyone have just the framework they can post so I don't have to grab a full rom?
Awaiting Assimilation
Here is my framework-res.apk with some custom animations that I added in. Anyone is welcome to push this to their /system/framework or copy it there with root explorer (don't forget to change permissions) and have a few extra custom animations (zoom menus, slide window transitions). My attached framework is from Alien rom so beware some of your status bar icons will change if you use this with non alien theme.

Kratos this is the stock photon framework-res. This one does not have the custom animations I added. You can grab the stock photon transitions from this anim folder!

Look in my ACS repo, you'll find [BASE] Unmodified + Animations. I think that's what you're looking for.

I'm pretty sure that transitions can be applied through MetaMorph but not through recovery since they are part of the anim directory in the framework files.

Yes, but I what I showed him (or her) replaces the Bionix-v framework-res.apk with nearly the exact same framework-res.apk. The only difference is that it has the flying transition animations, rather than the standard transition animations.
I'm sure I could whip up a Metamorph too, but I'm working on some other things right now. Plus I'm sure there's already one lying around somewhere.
ACS is a great application, and easy to use. I'm sure my suggestion would work just fine for what's being asked.
I apologize for my ignorance. How do I install the animation. I am confused with link. I cannot see a transistion file to download.
How do I do this?
thanks
I hope JDan doesn't mind, here's the flashable zip. (Made with ACS 1.0)
Be sure to thank him. <3
Can this be used with Trigger v1.5 as well?
Will this change anything else other then the animations?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
It shouldn't as it's just the base, unmodifed, with the animations.
I have a theme from tw forums. The blue remix theme. Will this revert it back to stock bionix v?

Yes, that will revert back. I'll try making a Metamorph for just the animations later. Never done a Metamorph, but they look fairly easy.
Well in short its horrid in my opinion is there any way I can get the white one from cm6 it's much more clear with the battery and signal etc. Or what is the best theme for cm7 thanks in advance.

Why don't you just take the notification bars and icons from the framework-res.apk in a wildfire cm6 rom, and flop them into your framework-res.apk and systemui.apk in the cm7 rom.
you can use the UOT kitchen: http://circle.glx.nl/ to theme your phone.
Or you can use the theme chooser.
Or you can flash my theme... if you want.

Hi thanks for the quick replys. Is there a tutorial you could point me to? I'm still learning the android system only been using for a week or so. I know the basics, flashing roms and rooting also pre packed themes etc etc. I already have the android Dev kit setup and functioning I pressume it will be required to extract cm notification bar.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using Tapatalk
you won't need a tutorial for the UOT kitchen, it's as simple as choosing the stuff you want, then it asks you to upload your framework-res.apk, then it creates a .zip, then you flash it.
as for putting and changing icons in your framework-res, you just need the sdk to push the framework to your phone (if you dont know how to make a flashable zip) - there's a guide somewhere in the wildfire general section (just search for it). all you have to do is open the framework-res.apk with winrar, and place the icons you want to change into that rar file, and replace, - ok, done bla bla.
Nice. Thanks for your help. I'm going to try your theme as soon as I get chance aswell ill let you know how it goes. Thanks again

WhiteHawkX stated that in his thread. He said he would get to fixing that soon. When he does, I'll upload again.
looks like there's a notification popup also. I'll get to themeing that once the update is posted
Is this compatible with Bi-Winning?

Thats some sweet stuff.
I like it but might I reccommend instead of doing all Grey style for the dock icons. Maybe do a Blue and Grey/black like they did for the Market apk icon. I feel like that would fit the Trigger Rom theme alot more. Its all Black/Grey with a Blue off-set.
Just an opinion. Like the idea though.
I'd do it but I cant seem to find the dock icon's .png in the zip file to do it myself for some freaking reason.
I dont know if im crazy or what haha
That sounds really cool but i plan to do an entire black theme for trigger so this is just one part.
Each apk I included in system/app contains an ic_something png which is the icon for the application.
All you do is extract the apk search the res folder for ic_ then locate the image and theme it whatever color you want.

Big thanks!
I thought I looked through there. I'll look again, I obviously missed it haha.
after changing it, how do we place back into .apk format?
Thanks dude always wondered this haha
Theres a long way and an easy way.
Long way apkmanager
Easy way open the apk in winrar.
Drag the res folder out.
Make edits.
Drag the res folder back into the apk still open in winrar.
Click ok.
Close winrar.
As long as you leave everything the way you left it before you started, it should work.

Are the widgets working in this version? didn't see anything about it in the Op. Being 2.2 would that version work on NextGen? I don't mind the theming
It should work. I can make a nextgen specific flashable if people want. maybe after I finish v2...
actually that would be awesome, just so the theming matched. If EDT or TW release any patches to fix the widgets we'd be able to flash over this right? Might as well. NopCodex may be a while yet putting out the TW version
works fine on NextGen, this is strange though, when setting the default home screen the numbers are one off, like if you want page four to be your home screen you have to tell it 3 you set it to 4 and hit home it goes to 5, weird. and it shows program monitor in the widget picker (which is effing BA!!)but when you pick it it says problem loading widget. ****ing tease lol
So on the original kb5 rom thread the widgets are working now.
Hey guys,
Im back again and this time with my ICS theme/skin for sense 3.0. Many modifications have been made and I'm gonna be making more to make as close as possible to the real deal!
***Update 3/25/12!***
Download ICSSpark v2.05 zip Mirror (Evo3d CDMA users only)
-Nandroid backup just to be safe!
-select blue for all the static color icons in leedroid tweaks
ROM Compatibility List:
ViperROM - Yes (I use it)
Mean Rom 3.2 - Yes
Infected Rom - Maybe
***Update 1/9/12!*** (old base)
Download ICSSpark v1.9 zip Mirror (Evo3d CDMA users only)
-Zip also includes themed rosie, status bar, htc.resources and framework-res so if your Rom is based on different bases like sensation or sense 3.5 etc (Olympus for example) it won't work....
-the apks come from a 2.3.4 base so I dont think they will all work on 2.3.3 roms.
-Wipe Cache and Dalvik just to be safe and keep your rom zip handy incase things go south.
-I am not responsible for any damages, freezes, bootloops or bags of crap in front of your house
***Once you download and flash the zip, make sure to select ICSSpark from the personalize menu***
Download ICSSpark v2.0 Skin Apk from here (for any sense 3.0 device)
http://www.box.com/s/hsrcr0f15si1ai8mgx0n
-Install it manually and select it through the personalize menu
Click Here for abu_noah's ICS Splash screens
If you like what i do Hit thanks, donate, comment, critique or help me improve!
A very big thanks to steal25 for helping me get my theme ready for the new base, he_stheone24 for his status bar battery icons, il duce and all the people over at the intro to themeing thread!
Also big thanks to j4n87 for leedroid tweaks and vinchenzop for letting me bother him with my annoying questions
I like it!

Awesome theme! Just need to change all the highlight, icon unread counts, etc to ICS blue and the theme would be even better!
Awesome skin! Maybe do you know how to change the notification bar header image? This is the only thing that needed before the skin would be perfect. I tried both skins, system ui and framework apk and couldn't find the way. Thanks!

Aw yeah! Finally ICS theme for Sense 3.0! thanks man!!
But in my opinion i don't change lockscreen ring and direct shortcourts, and the rosie I would make more transparent.
Great job, testing now!
Thanks man! Looks really good on Go Launcher with ICS theme. Running perfect on Viper.
Edit: also have widget locker running with ICS lockscreen. Almost like it better than real ICS running on my Evo4G.
Great job...keep it up! Not to hijack the thread but I can't believe no one has attempted a rom like this while we wait for official ICS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1375160
thank you so much been looking for something like this!

i realized that we dont have all the transitions as well as lock screens on the cm9. smh i really to wish we had more developer support.
