I was asking cause I'm new to this. And what I've tried and liked until now is Tripin MIUI, but want a newer version of MIUI and don't know which of this devs has a better reputation or developed a better rom. Cause I saw they are including changes and fixes from one to eachother.

Yeap enrenz is fast but the last 1.9.16 have some forces close--> torch,
I recomand to you 1.9.9 she fast and have a full language pack...
But i have problem with 3g/data in all miui, i hop you have not this problem....

I'm using SE Likes Miui by alzbac and its pretty smooth and stable. Its been a day and no data connection losses so far.
Hmmm... have you go in the area zone with not 3g/2g data connection and go back in area with data connection? In this moment i have a 3g/2g icon but i have not connection o_0 have you THIS problem with miui se like?

How about the battery drain in Selike, becuae i have flashed and tested all different versions of MIUI rom's and i found after 50% the battery drain is pretty faster. Have you noticed anything like this? how about your battery backup?
I use se like and the batterie is hs after one day (push mail activated, always in the net, listen music...)

Guyz... V hav got many roms... But lets just keep it simple and sort out the best everyday used roms...
I still am on 2.1 and want to move on furthur...but i just cant decide..every rome has drawbacks... So in the quest for the best...or near to one...suggest:d
either freex10 beta 4, or wolfbreak's cm mod.....

The ONLY drawback to either is that you need a 3rd party app (videocam illusion) to use the camcorder...
Otherwise they are 100% stable and perfect.
And the battery life ??? Is it same with these roms???
I find them both pretty equal. MY suggestion is flash bandwidth .55, seems to be better than .54...
I get a day no problem, and I use my phone pretty heavily. Two days with light to moderate usage.
Wolfbreaks CM V4.3 is the best IMO.

If you like to use a 2.3 ROM use the TMRgingerARCmOd
ROM from rdannar. Its pretty stable for a gingerbread ROM and I think, don't quote me on this, but I think it has more stuff working than the other 2.3 gingerbread ROMS. Try it. But no camera at all works on the ROM. Who needs a camera though? You got the most updated software at least working for the x10.

There's alternative camera Apps that work. I love to how the transitions are seamless scrolling between screens and Apps. Using the latest flash Player is also a huge advantage to. My wifi auto connects with now problem and the bluetooth works fine.
2.1 is old and outdated and slow. I'm currently using Cm 6.1. 3 and it's exceptional. I was using free x10, which was great but I still prefer wolfs rom.
Time for you to get with the times, so you can get a real phone.
Besides you can always flash between roms, it only takes 5mins.

everything is fine.... i installed video illusion..but i seem 2 hav lost the sensitivity... i mean i have 2 slide my finger 2 or 3 times...to get the scrolling... and some times the icons dont get selected...is it becoz of the "illusion.."???
and 1 more thing.. when i use illusion... n record the video.. my voice is played like a chipmunks...what the hell is that??
i had the same problem too with the screen. so i switched roms but the video illusion is like that. i personally think its hilarious. lol but its how its processed through the phone i think for that app or the rom.

I think that Wolfbreak's mod for CM6 is the best, i use it everyday

Freex10,tmr gingerbread 2.3.3 no camera though,wolfbreaks rom, ewjet,achojtan's rom battery life isnt bad but not better then freex10 and by the way you should go whit freex10 beta 4 because of the battery life 22 mins of nonstop facebook + xda i lost 1% charge whit the lowest brightness ofc

I m using the 1.0.2 now... i found a few bugs n some of are really pissing me off... any solutions??
Well i always have brightness to 100% and i can obtain about 7 good hours of music and text so whit brightness off i guess yeah

Awesome ROM i'm using right now is Freex10 Beta 4 (Android 2.2), with the video recorder fixed. The ROM is stable and excellent. Runs really fast.

Tonight i updated my fathers x10 from 2.1 to 2.3, i thought that it will be like my arc but its now slower than the 2.1, and i am tired of seeing my father with that phone, he didnt say anything but originally i am made him buy that phone back when it was a very decent phone,n not even one 2 x10! so i want any thing.... Anything that makes x10 superfast just like arc and i want everything to be fully working for him, a good rom with a good theme, i.mean not like a rom for teenagers
I checked CM7 and blue sparks rom my self, blue sparks is very fast and smooth, but i want an answer from you guys

I'm using WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3 | Theme Chooser, xLoud & Bravia by wolfbreak. He has been doing some excellent work! The only prob I have with his rom is that I can't share my internet connection via Ad Hoc wifi. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with his rom
Have you tried Wolfbreak's GB rom? It's pretty fast, reliable and has quite a number of features.

Confirm, Wolfbreak WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3 rom best aviable right now. I think it cant get any better without custom Kernel
Definately WB rom. Now to Version 3.5 as of today! This dude keeps working on it lol. But this version is awesome, very fast, reliable and well I had it for a few hours only but it seems like the battery is well optimized too. Check yancm's post for link. Peace

First of all Hello everybody ..
As u can see , im pretty "new" to the Forum, that means im active a little now and better experienced with flashing etc pp. ..
My question is, is it possible to make the startup of wifi faster like in miui roms, for example 1.9.16?!...
I was on erenz miui and the connection/startup to connect is muuuuuuch faster than stock rom (2.3.3) ..
I just flashed stock rom on my phone, bcs i couldnt install apps from market on my sd and so on ... , but the rom was very smooth
So i just flashed FPS Uncap, and the statusbar widgets .. , its almost as smooth as miui now , and speed is acceptable too, but just this thing with wifi annoys me a little ...
to not get me wrong, i dont need wifi speed increases .. just the connection at first to it
So can anybody help me out?!

Flash feralabs Rom. Its the best Rom I've ever used, the theme is brilliant, and the fact you can play games such as nfs hot pursuit with no lagg is amazing

I'm gathering info for testing a MIUI Rom, as far as I've read, the 'available' ones are:
- MIUI V4 for X10
- M&M V7.1 @ 2.3.30 -
- Oodie's @ 2.1.20
- Another MM TEAM @ 2.3.0
- Cobrato's @ 2.3.2
- MIUI HD2
- CosmicUI v0.6.01.125 @ 2.4.20
In your opinion, which ones are the best considering a stable, smooth, complete Rom?

I notice that both roms look same but mm teams gave up after two weeks and got slower and buggyer and and and
Cosmicui and i are now since two weeks in a relationship and its still statisfiing me...
I heard oodies is also a good one but i wont cheat on my new baby

Tried almost all of the ones you listed and found Oodies and CosmicUI very nice and good enough for daily use.
Currently trying MIUI V4 which is fast (newest build) and is almost perfect to my oppinion.
And it is the only one which is on android 4.0.4 i believe.

Lol.. CosmicUI also was my favorite but the only things which was bugging me was batterylife while having 3G on..
Other than that it was pretty good!

i dont use my 3g because of the battery drain^^
and because i think the sense of leavin your home is not to stay in facebook or whatever
did you see the miui4 rom? i tried it, but one can really feel that it is still in beta

True, having it on 2G is good enough for some email checking and what not besides allmost everywhere you have wifi these days.
Have been trying miui v4 for a while and yes it needs a bit more work but in my opinion V2 is pretty much good enough for daily.
Only waiting for decent camera at the moment before going back to it again.

its always the camera^^
i will stay at gb a while (tug rom), has good battery life and very much free ram, running dead trigger fluidly on 785 mhz (amazing till you notice that iphone has 600 mhz and runnin as smooth as hell)
but miui is a very nice piece of work and will surely go back to it when its in better progress....

I'm currently on CosmicUI, which I believe is the fastest.
I tried almost all of them I'l highlight the most impacting:
MIUI V4 for X10 was such a bad experience with laggyness :S
M&M was good until development stopped.
Oodie was amlost perfect, update after update it was really good... However development stopped and the last release of Prime was really buggy and slow . Also It is now vastly unupdated 2.1.20 !!!
Cobrato's seemd the salvation after Oodie. Stable, no great features, but stable. And fast. It was good...
While still on Cobrato's, I decided to give CosmicUI a try......
This has been my daily since then.... It has the last MIUI GB release, great stability, few bugs (Mostly MIUI bugs) an AWESOME performance and some really useful 730MB on data.
I like very much CosmicUI, however development has stopped I think I'm going to try a just CM7 rom, to see if performance increases.
Also there some MIUI bugs that are present in all these roms like:
Delayed message recieve. (Sometimes)
H/W
Brightness before screen turning off
etc etc..
yup i also tested mms and cosmicui, and unfortunately i have to say that they dont reach most of the other rons i tried (only look was better)....
Fact is that there are no light or gaming miuis, at least not for x10...
and noonebis willing to develop it further, and most developers seem to be only interested in ics, no time for miui....

Ps: there is also a stock based miui, called something like: taste of miui on stock gingerbread....
