First of all Hello everybody ..
As u can see , im pretty "new" to the Forum, that means im active a little now and better experienced with flashing etc pp. ..
My question is, is it possible to make the startup of wifi faster like in miui roms, for example 1.9.16?!...
I was on erenz miui and the connection/startup to connect is muuuuuuch faster than stock rom (2.3.3) ..
I just flashed stock rom on my phone, bcs i couldnt install apps from market on my sd and so on ... , but the rom was very smooth
So i just flashed FPS Uncap, and the statusbar widgets .. , its almost as smooth as miui now , and speed is acceptable too, but just this thing with wifi annoys me a little ...
to not get me wrong, i dont need wifi speed increases .. just the connection at first to it
So can anybody help me out?!

Flash feralabs Rom. Its the best Rom I've ever used, the theme is brilliant, and the fact you can play games such as nfs hot pursuit with no lagg is amazing

ya, it may be (perfect), and maybe i will flash that rom soon, but for now imma be usin stock 2.3.3 and will do "experiments" on that,
btw. is the wifi "problem" solved on his (feralabs) rom?!..., is the startup fast like on miui?!

Guyz... V hav got many roms... But lets just keep it simple and sort out the best everyday used roms...
I still am on 2.1 and want to move on furthur...but i just cant decide..every rome has drawbacks... So in the quest for the best...or near to one...suggest:d
either freex10 beta 4, or wolfbreak's cm mod.....

The ONLY drawback to either is that you need a 3rd party app (videocam illusion) to use the camcorder...
Otherwise they are 100% stable and perfect.
And the battery life ??? Is it same with these roms???
I find them both pretty equal. MY suggestion is flash bandwidth .55, seems to be better than .54...
I get a day no problem, and I use my phone pretty heavily. Two days with light to moderate usage.
Wolfbreaks CM V4.3 is the best IMO.

If you like to use a 2.3 ROM use the TMRgingerARCmOd
ROM from rdannar. Its pretty stable for a gingerbread ROM and I think, don't quote me on this, but I think it has more stuff working than the other 2.3 gingerbread ROMS. Try it. But no camera at all works on the ROM. Who needs a camera though? You got the most updated software at least working for the x10.

There's alternative camera Apps that work. I love to how the transitions are seamless scrolling between screens and Apps. Using the latest flash Player is also a huge advantage to. My wifi auto connects with now problem and the bluetooth works fine.
2.1 is old and outdated and slow. I'm currently using Cm 6.1. 3 and it's exceptional. I was using free x10, which was great but I still prefer wolfs rom.
Time for you to get with the times, so you can get a real phone.
Besides you can always flash between roms, it only takes 5mins.

everything is fine.... i installed video illusion..but i seem 2 hav lost the sensitivity... i mean i have 2 slide my finger 2 or 3 times...to get the scrolling... and some times the icons dont get selected...is it becoz of the "illusion.."???
and 1 more thing.. when i use illusion... n record the video.. my voice is played like a chipmunks...what the hell is that??
i had the same problem too with the screen. so i switched roms but the video illusion is like that. i personally think its hilarious. lol but its how its processed through the phone i think for that app or the rom.

I think that Wolfbreak's mod for CM6 is the best, i use it everyday

Which release of 1.9.16 MIUI is better and generaly which is a better porter since Tripin stoped developing for X10.

I was asking cause I'm new to this. And what I've tried and liked until now is Tripin MIUI, but want a newer version of MIUI and don't know which of this devs has a better reputation or developed a better rom. Cause I saw they are including changes and fixes from one to eachother.

Yeap enrenz is fast but the last 1.9.16 have some forces close--> torch,
I recomand to you 1.9.9 she fast and have a full language pack...
But i have problem with 3g/data in all miui, i hop you have not this problem....

I'm using SE Likes Miui by alzbac and its pretty smooth and stable. Its been a day and no data connection losses so far.
Hmmm... have you go in the area zone with not 3g/2g data connection and go back in area with data connection? In this moment i have a 3g/2g icon but i have not connection o_0 have you THIS problem with miui se like?

How about the battery drain in Selike, becuae i have flashed and tested all different versions of MIUI rom's and i found after 50% the battery drain is pretty faster. Have you noticed anything like this? how about your battery backup?
I use se like and the batterie is hs after one day (push mail activated, always in the net, listen music...)

I do not know what rom should i CHOOSE!... i have an X10i on stock at the moment and i want something new. i usually use my phone on: texting(a lot....and i mean it..), i play a lot of games,sutrfing on the internet,skype,messenger,Fb,MUSIC... so what do u guys think i should put on it for better performance,looks and some battery

If you play games a lot,CM7 is the best choice.However,if you focus on taking pictures or you require a better UI or you just choose it for daily use,then I would like to recommend the JAF ROM.
Donut hd 2.2.7 . Stable , fast, smooth , beautiful look and no bug/FC... and games also runs smooth on this rom.

What if I want to change my rom to something else that can
- be faster than my stock rooted 2.3.3 rom
-stable. Right now my phone sometimes hangs itself out of nowhere. Disturbing since this wasn't there before I rooted it.
-take brilliant 8Mp photos. I heard CM7 camera does work, but it isn't upto stock camera level (guys I waant this the most, next to fast n stable)
-apps work smooth without no.lag. and games to .

Okay so i flashed almost all the ICS roms and it all lags on my X10. The speed is there but the animations lag. Like pulling down the notification bar , window animations , screen off animation. They all lag. Can some one tell me how to solve this? Is this a videolag problem or something? I really love the fastness of ICS roms. Im on FeraLab ICS v4 currently!

From what I can tell, none of the ICS ROMS are 100% stable yet. And to get them running smooth will still take a bit of work, tweakings bits and pieces here and there to iron out the kinks. GL

I have my x10 running faster than before on Scritches v3 rom with Amin kernel p6005, if you try it I flashed scritches camera fix as Amin kernel needs the patch. P.s. don't flash the aeros libs or it will lag on that rom and kernel.
I was previously on Zmod7ver3 which is one of the fastest gb roms I've come across. You'll lose cam tho.

My mini pro sk17i running cm9 seems to be really laggy ..,,,, even temple run and subway surfer seem to be lagging a lot .. is there anyway to fix this??.. or atleast is there another rom and kernel that i could use that gives better performance and battery life .. i dont need a rom for heavy gaming just light ones ... could you please provide the link to the rom and kernel and installation instructions if possible ???

Maybe you installed a bunch of stuff, the rom per se is not laggy, but it's not the most stable one. I can't suggest you anything since i've been in MIUI for the last months so i don't remember other roms... but you could just reflash or delete some ram-eater apps and games will work fine. Maybe add some scripts, supercharge it =D, project fluid are the best ones i know
