first, let me apologize if im posting a question thats already been posed a few times, but i search under all the forums and didnt see the any other posts with the question i had or answer i was looking for, so here goes....
after crushing my former bt earpiece, i went out and purchased a Motorola h670, and it says it supports both headset and handsfree profiles, but my phone is only giving me the option for handset. Now normally i wouldnt care, but im the type that actually uses my headset for voice dialing and some simple commands for my phone, but its not going through at all.
my question is, do i need to use another program, such as voice command, or is there a way to force my phone to recognize the headset profile, with maybe a fix or a registry hack??
Well I'm aware this question is a bit specific, but I'm trying to use PocketGBA on my HD2, and when I open the ROM all I get is a white screen and a loud beep.
anyone knows how to correct the problem?

Hey everyone, Just been browsing the website for an answer to my question and have so far not found one (please set me right if there IS an answer).
My question is: Is there ANY way to disable the power button menu when the X10 is locked?
I keep on finding the phone has inadvertantly switched to silent or flight mode, which is very frustrating, not just for me, but for my other half when she is trying to contact me.
I have found a thread about an HTC HD2 and the power button, but this is for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
It must be possible, I have seen other phones that stop the use of the power button when the phone is locked...
If ANYONE can help me, I would be so so grateful....

MIUI and probably CM have that option built in Settings.
So maybe a developer working on either of these, could answer that.

I have some problem with the "sounds effect" on my HTC Hero (like boot sounds and keyboard click sounds). The boot sound sometimes work but most of the time doesn't,the keyboard 'click' sound just sometimes mute by itself after I disable my phone from vibration mode (or silent mode),is this the problem of the SPL or the Radios? (I can confirm it is not the Rom problem because my sister's hero doesn't have this kind of problem)
Note: I have searched the entire forum and also did a lot of googling the web and can't find a way to fix this problem,so pls don't post something like "search the forums" or "Google it" that sort of stuff pls...

Well,I don't have that kind of problem,only the boot sound and the keyboard sound just vanish...do u know how to fix it?
com'on,really!? no one knows how to fix it
Note: Tried full wipe and reflash but it doesn't seem to be working...

I have got an S5380i as a work's phone and when I have my Bluetooth headset connected to it, when you answer incoming calls the phone resets after exactly 16 seconds into the call. Outgoing calls are fine, but this happens about 80% of the time.
I have searched the internet for info about this and cannot find anything.
I have tried using the Jellyblast Custom Rom, which actually fixed the problem, but I couldn't use it as my works software developed problems with me not being able to read the text as the letters were too similar in colour to the background.
I AM new to this and have bricked this phone about 50 times trying to fix the fault (and have learnt how to unbrick it!), but would REALLY like some input on how I might fix the issue.
I have tried about seven different Bluetooth headsets, including genuine Samsung ones, and the results have been the same.
Is that enough info for you?

First of all, JellyBlast is a banned rom here. So lets not have anymore discussion on that. As for the headset problem, you can use the SoundAbout app from Google Play. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
Thanks for the replies guys. I will have a go at the catlog later when I get home and post the results.
The problem doesn't happen every time so hear with me while I try to get it to do it so I can post the log.
Sorry for mentioning 'that' rom, I was just using that as a point of reference as it was the only rom I have tried.
The headset issue isn't that the headphones don't work though, it is that using the Bluetooth headset causes the phone to crash when answering a call (not making one though), and I thought that using the sounds out app was to fix the headphone socket issue?
