I know that this MIUI rom has been gaining steam for its nice interface, but is this possible to port to the Eris? I think right now its just running on the higher end devices. Any ideas?

I dont like this rom. I would prefer it if people would release the original then theme their hearts out or whatever he thinks hes doing
I just really like how this is laid out. Really want it.
Yeah I don't like roms like that either but what he's doing is more complicated than theming.

No App Drawer really? That's the original Launcher that comes with Droid. Roms add different Launchers...did you just buy your phone yesterday? MIUI.us is the best ROM period, add Zeam launcher and I swear, you'll wanna marry your phone.
This rom looks pretty sweet. I would definitely give it a try.
Could someone take a look at what an MIUI port for the Droid Eris might take? If nothing else, I LOVE that lockscreen. I'm not that great at porting roms, I like to know whats going on with my own rom, so if one of the devs thats really good at porting stuff look into this that would be great.

Take a look at what deca has over in the hero thread bro.. I have it somewhere on my laptop but ill have to wait to get it back.. already fir the eris. Just need to add the wallper and such
Btw bro there is also a miui theme in the market..

Well its never gunna be until they let deca or someone have the source bro.. from what I've read .. its not easy. But.. come to think if it.. I think its the g1 .. someone has the framework ported.. don't quote me on it tho.. I might have misread

That's not an miui rom, its cm6.1 based, just themed. The arm6 processor on our phones can't run the miui roms, from my understanding...

Has anyone else heard of the miui rom? It looks beautiful! Would be awesome to see a port for our phone one day, not that it's really necessary. We're already a bit spoiled for choice If you haven't already heard of it then check it out, some say its better than CyanogenMod.

There is a MIUI theme for some roms, if you like. But no MIUI rom.
As far as i'm concerned there is no porting to the P500 - nevertheless the rom is really great looking and people who use it seem to be very happy, but if there's no version for the LG, then we can't do nothing about it
