I just installed the new updated ROM from o2.ie. (1.72.00WWE) All works fine but I can't work out how to toggle to landscape view! Been round the block a good bit but can't find a button for this!
Can anyone there help? Thanks!!

You can download RoteteScreen. cab at this forum to make a shotcut

I'd prefer not to install a CAB if possibile as I thought that screen rotation formed part of this second edition of PPC2003.
Am I wrong on that?

Hi, I don't think you have 2003SE. The latest upgrade from o2 is still 2003 (first edition). There is no official SE upgrade for the xdaII. However, I have recently upgraded using finalzero's 2003SE ROM available here and, as they say in glasgow, "it's pure minted, man". Highly recommended. Plus, I have been able to install it without the caller ID which makes the system a lot l-o-t slower. The extended ROM, by a fortuitous mistake, has to be installed manually so this can be customised.

It's taken me ages to reinstall my programs and SMS messages so I'll put up with this ROM for now.
But if someone could really recommend a good prob-free plug-in for screen rotation I'd be much obliged - thanks a lot!

Hi to all,
I would like to know if one know how to disable the clock animation on touch flo's home screen.
The animation is taking the clock one hour and two minutes before the now hour, so you have to wait the end of animation to know the exact hour.
I have seen several posts on the subject fot the HD2, and tried the cab's but without result (http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/gsmgpspda/smartphone/questions-sondage-inside-sujet_20099_1.htm and http://htc-touch-hd.forumactif.biz/divers-f65/info-compilation-de-trucs-et-astuces-t10119.htm point 38).

Indeed unfortunately at the moment only a cab version for Touch flow 2.1 and 2.5 are available...we have 2.0.
We need a developer to put some work into it. Perhaps Billabongstaff can help us.
i just recently bought a htc hd2 and i am new to phones like this , it hasnt got the weather animation for when it is raining or cloudy and it goes accross the screen if you know what i mean ? i was just wondering if there was a rom or app or anything where i can put this on !! and how do i put it on etc could someone please help pleaseeeeeee >>>> Im a NOOBIE

What version rom are you running.?
You will find that under settings, about phone, software information
windows mobile 6.5 professional ce OS 5.2.23101 (build 23101.5.3.3) what ever that means lol

make sure the weather tab is ticked......
tried but doesnt qork just want a rom so it will do it
Have you by any chance installed CHT??
Sometimes the weather animation is set to off by default.
If you have it installed add a weather toggle to a quicklink and try turning it on/off and restart sense......

Is there any settting or HTC Sense Widget that would show the name of the current cell tower display. I dont know if I am clear, but in old NOKIA 1100 days, the name of the place would scroll in the main screen.
I am missing this one feature that was very helpful to find your location.
Any suggestions ?

Hello everyone.
I have a few questions and a request for someone who is up for creating an animated lock screen apk for android.
Is it possible to create a lock screen with an animation from attack on titan? (it's bassicaly a gate of a wall being blasted during unlocking of the screen - I will provide the animation from an avi file and covert it to a required resolution as well as format.)
Is it possible to create a universal apk for more than a single smartphone model?
Can it be done so that the animation is active when the phone is awake and then another animation proceeds during unlocking?
If anyone feels like creating such lock screen please feel free to engage in this thread.
Also, if you have any tips on how could I do it myself, any advice would also be appreciated

Czesc haha well, basically I would recommend getting into programming for this, Do research on a programming language like Java if you are going to be doing apps for Android, and Objective-C for Iphone, to develop I reccomend using Android SDK, its a Software Development Kit that helps test and build for specifically android. Usually the only thing that holds back an app from being universal on android is the OS requirements (2.3, 4.0.4, kit-kat, jelly bean, etc etc.) So that shouldnt be much of an issue. What it sounds like is you want to make almost like a custom live wallpaper for a lock screen, I would do research on how to do that, or research on how to modify the lock-screen. I hope this helps.
