i try to get my vibrant to start up but when it does it always boots to recovery
i have tried flashing a rom while in recovery but it still boots back,someone please help

Try an odin flash. Put the device into download mode and flash it with Odin. If that does not work, then try UnBrickable Mod or send it for JTAG.
Do you know how to use ODIN?
i have a similar problem im stuck in recovery, and i cant get to download mode at all. tried a hard reboot and tried to enter download mode threw recovery. any ideas? if i can get into download mode i know im back up and running!
Sorry I got into download mode...I forgot USB is plugged in after you're already in download mode!

Ok, so idk if im screwed here but i had installed crappy cm7 which ended up with fc all the time so i decided to try to odin back to stock but when i did i odined to ji6 instead of jfd which is the one i walways do , when it rebooted it just took me to stock recovery and i already had the cwmod recovery update.zip so i just flashed it and thought i would flash cm7 again. Point is I cant get into download mode or back to stock recovery and my phone doesnt boot. All i can do is go to cwmod recovery and thats it. I would like to try to adb to download mode but i have no idea how to work adb or cmd . PLEASE HELP?

Hi, i was installing litening rom with odin, but it stuck, so i waited like 30 mins, but nothing kept moving so i pulled out the battery. But i cant get to cwm, it says an error:
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
But kies wont recognize the device!!!
What do i do im so nervous!!!?!?
Edit: i managed to get to download mode again and flash the tar file and it works.
u can lock this thread or something...

i had the same problem but i flash it back to stock
you are not bricked, thats the good news...if you have the same problem as me then you should already be in recovery mode. all you have to do it flash the stock rom. that should fix it.

So I flashed CWM, tried to boot into it and then BOOM ! Phone won't turn on and stuck on the Samsung boot animation.
Is there any solution for the problem I have?

I guess i'll try to install a new kernel, how can I install kernel without download/recovery mode using ODIN?
you might have flashed wrong recovery which may be meant for other variant , check again you should be able to enter Download mode

Well I was wrong and I actually can enter into download mode! What should I do next? tried using Odin but didnt see any green box or whatever it should say.. ;\
So I got some news!
I installed different kernel using Odin, and the phone turned on! After that I went into recovery mode and installed an awesome rom called SuperNexus
Thanks guys, I had 4 hours of craziness trying to solve the problems I had

Hey Captain woopy i got the same issue after flashing CWM through mobile odin yesterday. Now I can access only Recovery(CWM) and download mode.
Which kernel did you flash, could you pls provide the link? pls its urgent:crying:

Hey, I'll explain you what I did ;
After I rooted my device, I booted the device and it worked. After that, I installed CWM, tried to turn on the device and it doesnt work! stuck on boot animation..
Soo...I downloaded SiyahKernel which is the most basic and for major users kernel. You can download it here :

You install ODIN on your PC, open it, and click on PDA and open the kernel you downloaded(siyah kernel), you put your device on Download Mode (you press volume down, home, and power button. you will see the download mode screen, it will ask you to press volume up or volume down, PRESS THE VOLUME UP! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ODIN WILL FIND YOUR DEVICE!). And than on Odin you press start. Hope it helped
so i flashed a rom (hd 40.0 or something to that effect ) and it was ll working fine was on it for a few hours, did a few reboots then decided to boot into recovery to do a backup of it but never got there. my phone will show the samsung gti9300 screen then go to a blacm screen with the crm logo in the middle and at the bottom it says "clockwork recovery v6.0.4.3" and it just keeps doing that, even when i try to start itnormally . i can get into odin mode but thats it, help would be greatly apriciated

no, didnt have access access to a computer last night, ill give that a try today though.
You could flash a recovery with mobile Odin if you're phone is still able to boot up and rooted still. :thumbup:

nah it doesn't boot at all just keeps doing the same bootloop, i should be able to use a computer later today tho to flash recovery mode.
Reflashed recovery via Odin now all is well. Thanks guys

Hello all. I have a new ace 3 LTE S7275R. I tried installing CWM recovery found here:

I tried with odin 3.07 and 1.85
Every time, odin shows success, but when trying to boot into recovery, the phone gets stuck at "recovery booting...."
The phone is otherwise working
Any help getting CWM to work? Or alternatively, how can I return to stock recovery at least?

people did you know that if you flash original OS for s7275r like mine you can escape from the terrors of the bootloop or whatever you call it? Download it from samsung-updates.com and flash with odin in download mode. Its a bit tricky to get to the download mode, but if u take the power in and out a few times and then proceed to enter download mode it should not be prob.

The brother is right.
I did the same thing and got myself back to stock firmware and recovery.
Guess we have to wait for the official image from clockworkmod themselves.
