Uot kitchen from phone?
Is this possible I've tried from both skyfire and stock android browser. Not a big deal but would be more convenient. I guess my question is... Is there a way to upload framework files from phone?

No. I haven't found a browser that supports it yet. I don't know of any server site (eg. Photobucket, Dropbox) that support uploads from a mobile browser. I would think that UOT would be no exception. Unless UOT creates a mobile app, its a no go.

There's a certain website I frequent on my PC that allows me to stream episodes of breaking bad, etc. It's a pretty simple straightforward search engine that links you to a streaming flash video. When I try from my phone, it brings me to a version of the site which only allows me to search and then download the file instead of streaming it.
Is there any workaround / fix / app that will trick the site into thinking I'm on a PC?
Thank you
Dolphin (I use mini) will let u change the User Agent to Desktop.

Basically all of the third party browsers allow you to change user-agents. I really like the default browser, if only it gives option to do permanent desktop mode or allow switching like third party browsers do.
There is a way to change the stock browser to do desktop mode, but it is only per session. if you close the browser and reopen it goes back to mobile view.
I use dolphin hd set to desktop user agent, allows for streaming on hulu and full turntable.fm
+1 dolphin browser

i use maxthon. you can change to desktop or other browser types in the option. if you use it on your pc or laptop too you can sync all uour bookmarks and stuff with it after you sign in. its faster than google chrome on a computer and the fastest ive found for my atrix. hopes this helps.
I use both Dolphin HD and Opera, but Dolphin doesn't work properly on this site. If you're in a thread with multiple pages the button for the last page is covered so it's difficult to get to, and if you try to search the thread the search pops up and disappears immediately. The back button on Dolphin doesn't work well if you click a link in Yahoo - you have to hit back multiple times before it works. Most sites do work ok though.
The stock CM7 browser will let you change user agents to Linux desktop, Mac desktop, Froyo, Eclair, iPhone, iPad and IE6

More of a general Android question. Whenever I go to filesharing websites like filesonic to legally download free materials, it only downloads a 'com.htm' file instead of the actual file I wanted.
Copy link and paste into a different browser. I use Firefox for this. Firefox or their nightly will both work.

I'm going to try your suggestion now. Opera and Browser didn't work, let's see what Firefox can do.
I also have seen that there are apps for some file sharing websites, 2shared and mediafire to be specific.
EDIT: It worked. Thank your the valid information and the quick response.
Hi All,
Wondered if anyone has any ideas for a Kies Air alternative for if oyu want to move away form stock ROMs but still be able to wirelessly move files from PC to Android devices?
I see there are many apps in the market, anyone know one that is easy and intuitive?
Ralph

Awesome. Thanks duder!
File expert is a file explorer that allows you to share folders via ftp or via a browser on your PC, so it's my call for being a so complete app.
Also, there is an app called wifi explorer which basically does the browser option that file expert has.
That.
I use an app called webkey. I have been using it on insanity rom for quite some time. I have found it to be as good as kies-air.
Edit : Webkey needs you to have root though.
you can also use "solid explorer" and using share option to have ftp connection.
AirDroid seems to be an awesome replacement for Kies Air for me.

hello, I'm interested in editing some features of an apk. I've seen many a dev edit stock apps to work better, by removing limitations, or battery thresholds. I want to remove the wifi only option from the crunchyroll app, so that I can use it over 3g. I probably won't be successful, but it'll be a good learning experience. can anyone point me in the right direction of what program to use to start editing an apk? I'm using windows, but if need be, I can install Linux. thanks!

The APK Manager is good for decompiling/recompiling and all those things.

For editing xml files, use Notepad++
I use my note for school and most files are in pptx format, but to take notes on them, I use pdf. There are many conversion apps out there but they all do the conversion on the Web. The problem is my Internet here on campus is horrible. Uploads take forever so local conversion is better for me.
Currently I am using office suite pro (free) and going to print preview, then navigating though the file structure to find the file, then copying that to the location I need it. It's a pain to do. Any ideas on apps that can do this?

Oops. Screwed up the title.
The problem with those apps is they both upload to the cloud and then download again which I cannot do.
