[Q] impossible to unblock my mini pro x10 - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

hi Xda modders. has anyone seen this problem
sorry for posting hear but its Generally stating to crush my spirit
After a week of Fails and trying almost everything i've hit a wall tying to unblock my X10 mini pro. model is a u20i with [x] Network (0) tries on tesco sim.
I've tried root and xrecovery to a CF rom that failed me and it was all done correct.
all i got was updated firmware and no unblock.
I've also tried bootloader flash that also failed me, that was done correct aswell. so flashed back to factory default.
Tried the cable unlock and nothing.
Tried Seus/PC companion to change to a generic UK x10I and all that did was update back to what i was using after i changed the 2 files and all SEus did was redownload and reapply the firmware. doing nothing at all.
Please guys /gals its starting to drive me mad and as for tesco IT support well.... this may be my first post but your info hasen't failed me on my other phones.

can't bring x10i back to x10a

so basically i have generic x10i uk r2ba020 f/w on my rogers x10a phone..
i kept having problems with wifi and i'm thinking it might be because of the firmware i have currently, so i want to bring it back to x10a (rogers f/w)
however, i've tried the flashtool in jerpelea's thread, the one-click apk file, and they both keep giving me this error
right after i connect the phone in flash mode, i get
'invalid or corrupt 'jar' file'
i can't use omnius because i need to purchase licenses and it's no longer free..
is there any other way for me to get this phone back to x10a??? i'm really worried that i won't even be able to update to 2.1 when the update comes out..
-----------
edit : can't seem to delete this thread...
i couldn't get it working on xp, but after many tries, I got the file working on win7, with one of the problems being the deviceid.txt being saved as unicode not ansi...
anyhow.. everything works now. thanks

Flashed and E10a with E10i firmware, how get E10a firmware back?

Hey people, I've flashed my E10a with a E10i firmware, because my original was giving me so much troubles, and I tried to repair, factory reset and everything, but with no success and flashed with an E10i firmware, that solved my problems. But now I want to get back with the E10a firmware(that I have backed up) to see if will work good again, but I tried PC Companion and SEUS but PC Companion that the update was failed, to check my internet connection(and its fine, nor firewall blocking) and SEUS says that I have the newer version.
What I do?
Thanks!
Please, I need heeeelp!
Use Omnius to flash one of files from their site.
Is this free?
I tried to create and PayPal account, but my credit card doesn't let me ¬¬'
Is there another way to buy the license?
Same problem here...
And I can't use Omnius, cos I don't have International CC (I'm live in Brazil...) or pay-pal account..
Any free method to do that ?
I'm asking about that, cos I don'n know if my Mini will accept Android 2.1 when it's avaliable...
But if receives 2.1 ok, I'll keep my Mini as E10i..
(sorry about my poor english...)
In the SE forum, they said that it will accept the updates.
I got back my E10a firmware, but with the Omnius. I had to pay for it, but was less than 10$.

[Q] Phone looping after debranding

Hey, I have an SK17i locked on Orange that I flashed with stock UK firmware .58 (2.3.4) from WotanServer and now the phone wont accept ANY sim cards, nor connect to any WIFI signal.
It also loops in the regard that it wont save settings and asks to select language everytime I start the phone.
Ive tried a few different firmwares from the wotan server. Tried using flashtool with firmware downloaded from these forums, with no success.
Any help really appreciated as im struggling to find what the problem is.

try this firmware and flash it using flashtool
make sure to wipe everything and don't exclude anything
Download Sk17i Firmware Global
Thanks for the firmware, I did try it but I had the same issues.
I resolved it now, I had to unlock the phone (Network SIM Lock) and now its working fine. I wouldnt want to guess at why the original SIM that came with the phone wouldnt work on a debranded firmware but maybe someone here will incase someone else bumps into this problem.
Thanks.

[Q] FOTA Brick recovered SK17i wont recognise any sim cards

I recently bought a Vodafone Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i), had it sim unlocked and had been using it happily for a few days.
2 weeks ago I accepted a 0.62 FOTA update. This (of course) bricked it!
I read a lot of threads here and tried several reflashing and recovery tools (SEUS, PC companion, S1Tool, Flashtool with generic 0.58) over the next week which all seemed to fail to do anything.
Today as I was charging it before bringing it to the repair centre it turned on by itself with 0.58 firmware. However it will not recognise any SIM cards from various different networks, and each time it turns, it is like it is brand new as it has forgotten any language settings previously saved. Checking the service menu using *#*#7378423#*#* shows that the sim lock list values (Network, Network Subset, Service Provider, corporate sim) are all 0 and Bootloader unlock allowed: No.
When I bought it I checked the service menu and I could unlock the bootloader and there were still 5 sim unlock attempts allowed.
What happened and can it be fixed? I haven't unlocked the bootloader so should it still be under warranty?
Did you remove sim lock yourself? How?
And was the phone branded?

I got it sim unlocked at a mobile phone accessories and repair stand.
I am unsure what you mean by branded. It didn't any carrier logos printed on the device but it did have several un-deletable apps for the original network provider.

Branded means that phone has apps or some other stuff installed by the operator. In your case, it is indeed.
So, your sim was unlocked together with bootloader, else it shouldn't have bricked your phone.
What happened when you tried to install stock firmware with Flashtool?

It's simple.. (it happened with me too): you need to unlock your phone again, to rewrite the TA on your bootloader.. Use fast GSM or wotan Server, and your phone will work again and the bootloader will be unlocked too..

@Someguyfromhell: When I tried to install the generic firmware with flashtool it proceeded as expected. The messages on screen recognised the phone and began flashing, after a few minutes a message appeared saying it worked successfully... but the phone still refused to turn on. I tried this several times over a few days. I basically abandoned it for a week then when I charged it again before I was about to bring it back to the repair place it turned itself on.
I will try to reinstall the firmware again when I get back home tomorrow and post a more complete log of what flashtool says.
@LuisDias: I have heard of WotanServer but didin't want to risk the 15Euro cost if it wasn't the right thing in my case. I have not heard of FastGSM I will look into this!
Thanks both of you for your time

Xperia Locked after testpoint

Hi everyone!
I bought recenly on an outlet a Xperia Mini Pro sk17a. The phone is network locked, so I tried to unlock it through FastGSM service. The instruction guided me to do a test-point in order to unlock it. The process failed since the server was under maintenance. Now, the phone says that there's no SIM (It detects signal, so I guess the antenna is working) and everytime I choose a network to connect (on manual search, or even automatic) it ends up in an error, claiming that the SIM is not valid for that network.
It still has the original Android Gingerbread on it (since I couldn't update it either) and worked perfectly on 3G until it did the test-point process. I also tried to reset it several times prior creating this topic.
Can you help me on figure out what's the problem?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue with wotanserver and the only solution is to do the same procedure again and thats cost money of course.
One year after successful unlock my phone got the same issue with the sim card and now I don't use it anymore.
