X8 Forums
Now it have Game Mode, so you can do it, Instructions by doixanh:
Starting from v007, X8Gesture supports two gestures: Pinch Zoom and Game Mode. Default mode is Pinch Zoom initially after each reboot.
1. Game mode
To activate game mode, keep one finger at the bottom right and then another at the top left of your screen, one-by-one (don't release first finger).
Generally you should have more pressure with your second finger so that the digitizer recognizes it as the moving finger.
I tested with Tank Hero and it seems to work. This is not dual touch. It only makes you feel more comfortable with MT games. Sometimes it's incorrect though. That's the limitation of our hardware.
So it'll work nicely for our devices?
Just a little question: Could you make an update.zip of that v005?

If you have not insmod /system/lib/modules/x8gesture.ko, and gesture is working, that means that your rom developer, addes that lines on ramdisk .. so you dont need to install anything, just flash the zip and enjoy (ofc you need reboot )
now cya guyz im gonna play assasins creed on my mimmi
Sorry pple,
I cant post there, in develop area, somebody could tell this newbb how to do that?
Thanks a lot

Delete the old lagfree from init.d folder, then just copy v3 there and reboot.
(Use root explorer or ES with root settings for example)
From my Galaxy (ICS RC4.1)
Incase in last post wasn't clear, make sure you have root access, then use a root file browser. Go to /system/ect/init.d and delete the file that says 95lagfree or similar. Then flash the new version using CWM.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
just install v3
it will replace v2 i think
correct me if im wrong
delete S95Lagfree in /system/etc/init.d then flash Lagfree V3

it won't. you need to delete it.
should delete the other files in the init.d folder? (00banner, 01sysctl 20userinit ..
Thank you all.
From another forum I got to delete 97lagfree, and observe that there is a S95lagfree. Then i flash LagfreeV3. Now for your indications check again to see i had: S95LagFree (11,67KB) and S95lagfree (37,72KB). I dont noted differences, it works fine...Should i do something else.
Regards
difference is in script same name of it
but its updated and it rly is a bit better

For further scripts refer to e.g. Corresponding U thread
There is a similar thread on this forum that I have tried many times but failed to succeed :-/
I hope this one does, I prefer using stock kernel.
Edit:
By the way you need to edit Add_InitD_Scripts_15Oct2012_pack2.zip, it will fail to be flashed in CWM because folder META-INF is not in the root dir of the zipped files, META-INF and System folders must be at the root of the zip file and not inside a folder
this is working for stock kernel and confirmed working by seky0405

Download Droid Manager (Link to thread in my signature)
Run Droid Manager (After you install it for sure )
it needs busybox installed. IF it's not installed users will get a prompt to install it.
after busybox is installed click the button "Start Droid Manager"
Unzip your the downloaded files from this thread, follow instructions in the screenshot, tell Droid Manager which files are the scripts
the rest is explained in the attachment of this comment.
I'm sorry I didn't write instructions since I usually find providing an image is easier than providing written steps
By the way current version of Droid Manager installs BusyBox 1.18
I will be adding version 1.20.2 in the next release which is due max tomorrow
Seems to be not really a need for P - at least when im interpreting my thx statistics on this thread. Will discontinue for P.....

As you can see from the title it's still Alpha which means it's not yet near stable status.

Yups thats strange....
I know!!!
And I know, Sliding Xp Has init.d support, but when I c, there was no folder in the system/etc, and I've tried thru pimp my rom's verify before installing its own init.d support... Its says "Nopes, No Support"
Bt when I install pmr init.d support and then I verify, it says "Success"
So it means, for me, Sliding xp has no init.d support.... Strangeness always occurs in my case ONLY!!!
Now the thing is that, I have 38 scripts, and they all r 0 bits, so it means thet r corrupted and I shud delete them all and flash aroma version again...
What u say??
I want to create a flashable .zip file which will update the ROM if I want to modify some contents...........
Plz somebody could help????????
Thanks in advance:good:

Can you elaborate your question?
Take another rom cwm zip as a base
Change the contents using 7zip
Then change the updater zip carefully according to changes u made using notepad ++

Extract the system/app/Superuser.apk and the system/xbin/su files from any deodexed, MiniCM7 based ROM and replace the files in your ROM with those. Be sure to set the correct permissions in the updater-script.

set_perm(0, 0, 04755, "/system/xbin/su");
Assuming 'su' is in /system/xbin.
The superuser.apk in /system/app will get the same permissions as everything else in there through a set_perm_recursive line for the entire folder.

Just don't put one in.
There is a build.prop setting for it or maybe something you can do in init.d, but i can't remember what.
If you leave it out the system won't waste any time in displaying it anyway
For build.prop: debug.sf.nobootanimation=1

The various superuser apk's are only a front-end for the capabilities offered by the su binary, an older su binary will not have all the options that the newer apk's are taking advantage off, that's why they complain about it being obsolete. That is usually one of the first things that gets updated when you start using Google Play.

Custom ROMS usually have a custom .apk which contains the theme you can set with Theme chooser (minicm7 has minicm7.apk, minicm10 has minicm10.apk) The rest of the user-interface (the "google" stuff) is in framework-res.apk and systemui.apk as far as I know. And then there are some app-specific graphics in individual .apk's like calendar, mms and contacts apps etc.
I'd start with Emperor.dk's tutorial if you want to start learning about theming.
