Hello.
I have a problem similar as this - device showing only 13gb of space and not 32gb as it should. I've tried doing full wipe, but it doesn't seem to fix my problem.
I've tried a couple of things and none of them seem to work:
- used original 3.1 TW rom
- used Doc's rom
- used Task650's rom
- used both default and pershoot's kernel
I'm using CWM to load the roms.
The funny thing is the problem appeared a couple of weeks after my last rom update, and not while upgrading.
Any ideas what to do would be welcome!

hi all thanks in advance I have a problem and not to do I've been using the rom resurrection and now I've decided to use this rom I see that it handles better than the last, and the only thing that neither this veno works for me is the market tells me I have an error in the server host or timeout, I can not use the data connection and nothing I do not work.
I would like to help me please because this is the only thing that would make me go back to 2.3.6 i had and that they do not want. worked very well this rom.

One day i decided to upgrade my device
from CM7.0 to CM9 just to test it
and to get a taste of ics. then after
i tested it and i got in. i installed the gapps.
everything worked as what was explained
to work in the list of the rom.
then i decided to downgrade it to CM7.2
everything was great. suddenly it even
fixed my bluetooth and recorder, because
it was broken in 7.0 but the main problem was
that now i did something wrong. the market disappeared.
so i tried to downgrade it to froyo. market appeared
and i was like 'yay'. so i got it back to CM7.2
again all the instructions as it should but still no market!
Currently on CM7.1 it still isnt appearing.
i might think of swapping back to froyo
but it doesn't have my language (dutch).
as i can speak english good it isnt that
comfortable for daily use.
anyone has an idea to fix this?
i dont remember the installation order
from downgrade to CM7.2
i think its the hotfix

I suppose you have just added your google account, so before trying to access the market, start and login on Goggle Talk.. once you did that, the Market should appear again between your apps..

This did not happen in the past with version 2.3.5.
I am currently on system version 672.180.33.XT910.Retail.en.EU (build number 6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.2 - Android 4.0.4)which was flashed with rsdlite after a full wipe on the phone. The phone is also rooted, and that's it. I haven't deleted any bloatware...
Does anyone else experience a similar issue with quickoffice? Any ideas about what should I try to do in order to fix this?

So I have been running CM10 nightlies since they first came out for the I9100int.
Been loving them, they seem to work really well, however last night I started getting the error, "android keyboard (aosp) has stopped working"
Fortunately I have a second keyboard to use, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this error.
I cannot seem to find much about it anywhere, so I figured Ill ask the source.
I have cleared the keyboard cache, but that doesnt make any difference.
The last time this happened I had to do a full flash and I was hoping to avoid that.
even reverting to a backup hasnt seemed to fix it, so Im not sure if my backup had the issue too.
anyways, just thought Id throw this out there for any help.
Otherwise Id like to give a HUGE thanks to all the developers with this project, I love my S2 more and more with constant updates they provide.

On my Galaxy Note N7000 after an install of the current nightly CM10, some weeks later I get this message and the only way I can fix it is with a Factory Reset/wipe. This has happened a few times now. From the Settings app, I can get into System/Apps but there are no options like you mention above . .
It would be nice not to have to use the Factory Reset/wipe method . . is there a way of using your method on the N7000?

I have Sprint's S3 and when I flashed CM10 on it, I keep getting "android keyboard (aosp) has stopped working". I just flashed it so I don't have any other why to type or even get logged into the play store to download a new keyboard. Please help.

When you go setting/apps, make sure you swipe to the right so it says ALL at the top, not just downloaded, they're in there. I just had the same error hence my search here. Following the advice above worked for me on cyanogen mod

Thanks for the reply fozzy --- I did a master reset/master clean and it fixed it all. Still can't see "Dictionary Provider" anywhere, incidentally...bizarre!

Same problem here. I just flashed the Provision JB ROM and right away I can't use my keyboard at all. I cleared the data for the AOSP keyboard but I can't find the dictionary app.
same problem.. no dictionary provider. keyboards keeps on crashing (phone is Sk17i so bug is not related to phone itself)!
I've the same issue, even i can't type any letter !
I've cleared the data for Android keyboard ( from settings/apps.. ) , but it didn't work with me!
Also i can't find Directory provider in apps.
So, what to do?

I solved it by using gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
I faced the same issue yesterday when I installed cm10. I have xperia mini pro sk17i.
After a lot of trial and error, I solved the error doing:
wiping cache partition
factory reset
installing cm10 rom
installing gapps one version older: gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip (I am new and unable to post a link, just google it.)
The main takeaway - use the older gapps and after install, update them using market. Maybe just doing this will solve the problem for you.
PS. I am using extender kernel by M66B
Even though I'm using the latest nightly for the samsung galaxy nexus I ran into this same issue. Cleared data for android keyboard but as others couldnt find the data dictionary so since I use a 3rd party keyboard anyways, I went back into android keyboard and disabled it. No more error for me, hope that helps.
The solution to this seems that the newes Gapps Version for JB is not compatible with 4.1.x. http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/Google_Apps#20121130.
So if your using Android 4.1.2 you have to stay with gapps 20121011.
20121130 is for Android 4.2 only. In that case a bad choice to stay with JB for the new release, as this cannot easyly be seen in the name of the zip package..
If you already installed 20121130 it should be sufficient to reinstall ROM and after that gapps version 20121011. If that doen't work you need to wipe..

No luck, I needed to install a 3rd party keyboard. Strangely, the same method (flash rom+gapps) worked on a friend's phone.

I didn't want to spam this thread with a useless "thank you" post but it's pretty quiet around here anyway so what the hey. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This is seriously freaking awesome. I was convinced development for the Burst was going to die with that final build of SlimBean. It feels so nice to be running KitKat (way to go, 4.4.4!) on this tiny little guy who refuses to die. That bug with the test build where opening SnapChat caused a kernel panic seems to be completely gone, so thanks for taking away my excuse for ignoring my SnapChat account lol. The battery life leaves much to be desired but I'm pretty sure that's the phone and not the ROM. Thank you so much again, this is excellent work :highfive:

We must not forget that the device has a battery of 1600mA, for this reason it is normal that the the device have a short battery life.
There is always the possibility of purchasing an extra battery with external charger.

DU rom from marduk have it inbuilt and works flawlessly but rom has bugs of wifi tethering, Bluetooth and random restart. I rely on tethering heavily so i am on cm11. Is there anyway i could get it on cm11?
2). Anyone facing any random restarts.?? I faced some random restarts recently when using multiple tabs of UCbrowser. Though i wasnt able to catch anything from log. I will post if it happens next time.
3). It is taking too much time to charge if handset is kept on usage.?? Well mine does. But charger is of samsung (.7A)..

First the rom is not my property. It is compiled from PantechDevTeam repositories.
If you want to get the DU version, you must wait to be released this compilation or you compile DU from marduk191 repositories.
Of the mistakes you've written would be important you will provide a log, to study errors.

I have found a way to lower the intensity of vibration feedback of buttons..
You will need to decompile framework-res.apk and have to look for values. Xml in res folder some where at last there will be line <integer-array name="config_keyboardTapVibePattern"> Just change its value to suitable. Recompile and flash. Btw i am using value "2" instead of 40.

whatsapp camera : black screen
i am using cm11 latest build. when ever i open camera in whatsapp application i see black screen.. but if i click the snap is taken.. same with bar code scanner app as well.. tried to check the log but there is no error registered for this.. i thing i have missed some setting..
Issues Installing Custom Firmware
First of all, thanks for all your work on Burst development. Here's my issue. I installed ICS from the Pantech website and then rooted my phone a year or two ago with "The Burst Hack Tools" mentioned in the instructions. I found the instructions to install custom firmware and tried installing CM11. Everything seemed to be going fine until I restarted my phone. I upgraded CWM to 6.0.2.7 touch version and retried. Same result. The third time I thought I may have forgot to wipe the cache so I was sure to do that. Same result. Question: Do I need to do a clean install of stock 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich before intalling CM11? Thanks for your help.

I've had good luck with this battery: Onite 1800mAh Battery for Pantech Burst P9070. Found on Amazon. I do notice the 200 mAh difference.

Thanks for the directions. I flashed the latest version of CWM and reinstalled CM11. It has been working great. The only issue I've noticed is that if I turn off the phone and turn it back on, apps that have been moved to the external SD card "disappear". They are still there, I just have to add the icons back. From what I've read, this is a problem with Android? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

This is a known bug in the code of Android 4.4. I think this can be solved with Xposed Module:

So I installed Exposed from here: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/modules/de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v33_36570c.apk
Then I installed HandleExternalStorage from the Play store: Play Store: http://tinyurl.com/nnajr7f
I went into Exposed and enabled HandleExternalStorage. Then rebooted. Icons dissapeared.
I uninstalled a couple of apps that were on the SD and reinstalled. Rebooted. Still missing
Icons. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
