Whenever I set my stock internet browser to landscape only, after a restart it force closes whenever I open it. I gather that this is a common problem for gingerbread roms. Has anyone figured out how to fix that?

I'm having certain problems with my wifi.
Im running 2.2 froydvillain, Wifi works with maps, email, googlemail, but won't work with the Browser or Market, basically they browser won't load, Market wont download, it's just stuck at "Download Paused".
This is the first I've come across it, I've never had this problem before, so, any suggestions guys?
The stock music player on my phone has been freezing on me lately. After playing around with different settings I realized that it only freezes when I have the data network disconnected ("Use Packet Data" option unchecked).
Why does stock music player require data connection? All my music is saved on my sd card. Am I missing something?
ROM: Trigger 3.0.1
Kernel: Overstock 2.4.1
Phone: SGH-T959
the STOCK? its doing that? Uninstall it, find a ROM and take its music.apk from system/app and put it in yours.
Nevermind I just tried it again & it totally worked without the data connection even though I had previously replicated the freeze at least 3 times.
It must be something else. It use to work fine with no problems, but I also added a couple of profiles in setcpu I'll play around with those profiles to see if I can replicate the freezing.

Now I can't replicate the freezes at all. Don't know what's going on.

Has anyone experience random reboot issue with stock rom,
I've tried nearly every rom out there, and still get random freezes & reboots. StarBursts rom seems to be the best for me.
I have stock Verizon GT 10.1 4g LTE. No problems here.
My tabs been freezing on me and causing me to have to reboot it multiple times per day which is really getting on my nerves now its reminding me if my windows mobile days. Anyone has any suggestions. It seems to happen alot when switching home screens and on the web broswer
I just got VanillaEclair 6.1 today for my HTC Hero, and it is great! Everything is extremely fast! But I encounter two problems, which both are quite bad:
* In settings, when I click "Accounts & Sync" my phone freezes, and I have to remove the battery and reboot. (tried it 3 times)
* When I try to start the Market app, it starts loading, and after one or two seconds I get a message saying "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and I have to force close it. I can see that in the background (behind the error popup) the Market loads like normal.
Does anyone else encounter this problem? Is there anything I could try except for re-flashing the phone?
I can't post in the specific thread for this rom because this is my first post on xdadevelopers.
If the rom didn't have a googleapps addon package to flash along with the rom, then it could be a rom bug of some sort. The only time that's happened to me was when my market didn't work on a cm rom.
Is there anything you know of that I can do other than re-flashing?
Don't mean to spam, but as I can't sync my contacts I want to avoid to re-flash my phone (will only do it as a last resort) do anyone have an idea what the problem can be?
Is there a way to only install/reinstall googleapps addon packages?
I am using a manual proxy. And I am not able to get connected to Android market or Gmail or YouTube in my Samsung Galaxy Ace using WiFi. But I can access these using 3G, but not by WiFi. Can someone shed some light into these? I have scoured google and xda forum for a solution, but nowhere did I find any joy. A lot of people are facing the same issue too.
well i was having a similar problem(would connect to wifi, the browser worked but not the apps).in my case, i have my router setup with the dhcp server off(you have to assign an static ip address manually to every device you that you are going to connect to the router) i solved my problem by enabling the "use static ip" check box and filling all the information(ip address, gateway, netmask, dns 1 and dns 2)on the advance settings tab in wifi settings.
running stock 3.2 yet I'm constantly getting gapp force closes. I have no idea what is causing it.
specifically this force close seems to happen in the browser. It says com.google.process.gapps needs to be force closed
I say you do a factory hard/reset then that should fix it
