The reason you are having so many problems is because you are trying
to use an un-official and un-released version of Gingerbread rom v2.3.5.
(It is NOT the stock rom, if it was you would not be having problems - The STOCK rom is v2.3.4.)
All your problems can be solved easily by simply flashing the very
best full featured custom rom currently available for our phones.
Here it is, GTG's "UnNamed v1.2.0" custom rom which can be downloaded here:
unnamed-v1.2.0-full.zip it is based on the STOCK Gingerbread 2.3.4 rom.
More information and step by step easy to follow instructions can be
found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1299474
P.S. The UnNamed custom rom is pre-rooted. So after flashing there is no need to root.
Be sure to follow all the step by step instructions to a "TEE" for best results.
Hi MisterJunky,
Thanks for your suggestion i fixed the gallery problem by deactivating the motion option. I have a few questions how stable is this unnamed rom and how can i backup my current rom. If i install this unnamed rom have i have to install all my applications. Awaiting for your reply. Thanks in advance.

The UnNamed is the most stable & error free rom you will find here on XDA.
You can use Titanium backup to backup & restore your apps. (only restore missing apps with data)
Your existing rom can be backed up using CWM Recovery after you flash the proper CWM compatible kernel.
First you need to flash the kernel unless you already have the CWM Recovery.
The CWM Recovery kernel needs to be flashed with Odin, it's not a zip file but instead it's TAR.
You can download the CWM Recovery TAR file here:
http://www.multiupload.com/QQKN7NJAFT
Then you need to download Odin, it can be found here: http://www.multiupload.com/QQKN7NJAFT
Then download the unnamed-v1.2.0-full.zip rom and copy it to your sdcard.
After these things are done you need to flash the CWM Recovery kernel TAR file using Odin.
After its done flashing the phone will reboot to the modified CWM recovery menu which will
have the options to "Backup/Restore", "wipe data/factory reset", & "install zip from sdcard"
plus many other options. The backup/restore option is for backing up or restoring your current rom.
First select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" then when that gets done select "Install zip from sdcard"
then select the unnamed rom zipfile which you copied to your phone from your computer.
Once it's selected it will start flashing the new UnNamed rom.
When it gets done flashing select "Reboot system" from the menu.
Then you can restore missing apps using only the missing apps option in Titanium Backup.
I would suggest to simply install the missing apps one at a time. (never restore system data)
Remember that any apps you have downloaded from the market will be automatically downloaded
and installed after flashing a rom if you selected "Wipe data/factory reset" before flashing your rom.
Instructions for Odin
Power your phone off
Boot into Download-Mode by pressing & holding the VolUp+VolDown buttons
Hit Volume Up to accept the warning (if you see any)
Start Odin
Choose "SGH-I777_ClockworkMod-Recovery_X.X.X.X.tar" as PDA
Connect your usb cable from phone to computer
Be sure that COM:XX in Odin lights up yellow then start flashing.
Menu usage
Pressing Vol+, Vol- & Power button at the same time brings your Phone into CWM Recovery Mode. (The UnNamed rom has built-in shutdown options too.)
OR you can simply download the free app called "Reboot Recovery" from the market. You can use this app to reboot into recovery with one click.
VolUp + VolDn = highlight & scroll Up/Dn
Power = Toggles menus off/on
Home = Selects
Back = Go back
Good Luck!
Wifi is a known issue with the KJ2/KJ4 leaks and custom kernels.
Hi Guys,
A quick question should i have to backup my current rom before flashing unnamed rom to my device. What is the use of wipe data/ factory reset. Thanks in advance
I would say the WiFi on the 2.3.4 is not that good either.
Other phones I have had I could get my router anywhere in the house but with this phone I have to be on the same floor.
I am sure it is something that can be fixed with a custom ROM but for now I am stock.

So my Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500R is stuck in a bootloop. I followed the instructions from this website: http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-tab-10-1-3g-4g-p7500-root-50789/
"- Download the kernel update file (kernel.zip) from here and save it to your computer.
- Download the recovery update file (recovery.zip) from here and save it to your computer.
- Copy both files to the root directory of your tablet’s storage. You may need to connect your tablet to your PC via USB cable to be able to do this.
- Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
- Reboot your tablet into recovery mode, as follows:
Press and hold both the Volume Down and Power buttons on your tablet.
Release the two buttons when you see the two icons on the screen.
Use the Volume Down button to navigate between the icons.
Highlight the icon on the left (box).
Press the Volume Up button to select it and boot into recovery mode.
- From the recovery menu, select “Install zip from sdcard.” Then, select “Choose zip from sdcard” and select “kernel.zip” from the list. Confirm that you want to flash the file. Repeat this step for “recovery.zip”.
- Go back to main recovery menu and select “Reboot system now.”
I did the update for the 10.1 4G as stated - just two files to put on the root of your internal memory (kernel and recovery files). Using the recovery option - first flash kernel then flash recovery - then select reboot. Now I have a tablet that appears to be in a boot loop. It just comes up to the Tablet name for a few seconds - screen glows for a while and then the tablet name comes back and the screen goes dark for a minute and then the cycle repeats.
I can still access download mode. Could I use odin to install the stock ROM. If I can does anyone have the stock Rogers Rom (GT-P7500R)?
This should be in Q&A FYI. Boot into recovery mode, wipe cache/data, boot into download mode, flash the following (latest HC) in Odin http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1507571

Rogers stock rom with instructions to install via odin in download mode.
You will loose root, but you can easily root it again via the root.zip file
Thanks, will try to return to stock when I get home. Do you guys know what I did wrong? Did I just use the wrong kernal and recovery file? Is there a Rogers specific one?

My guess is it was a kernel issue. Wipe and flash either ROM with Odin.

Hello Members,
Well, about a week back my friend gives me a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 [GT-P7500] (WiFi+3G) and challenges me to fix it.
So, I bring it home try to boot up, well it does not! Long power press din't work, after reading some posts on other threads here I was able to get it to boot by using the Long Power Press and tapping the screen and then I see the Galaxy Tab logo but it won't go any further its stuck over there.
After that I went for the download mode to see i can do anything with ODIN3 I was able to boot into Download Mode, I Downloaded all the required files, such as ODIN3 , Stock Firmware for GT-P7500 and I successfully completed the ODIN process but IT IS STILL STUCK ON BOOT LOGO and No matter any recovery i flash through ODIN i cannot get into Recovery not even stock. I have tried CWM, STOCK various different ones too but no avail.
So , What I can access? :
1) Download Mode
2) APX (POWER + VOL UP)
Anyway to FIX this and put a Custom or STOCK ROM to get the TAB working again?
Thanks,
Seriously??? No one??
I tried flashing the Stock Honeycomb version today.. same thing it will complete the ODIN process but when it auto reboots its stuck on boot logo and no stock recovery access please help!

Have you tried flashing just a new recovery? You need to get into recovery so you can wipe data/factory reset.
On a lot of samsung devices, you have to uncheck auto reboot, and take the battery out after its done flashing. This has something to do with Samsung's security. Is there any way to do this on a galaxy tab? If so it might make it work. If not, you could try holding the power button after its done flashing (with auto reboot unchecked) until it forces a shutdown. If that doesn't work, you could try and let it run out of battery after its done flashing.

Did you ever get this working? I have a SCH-i905 and have experienced the EXACT same issue.
having same isue but i can get into recovery.. after flash im stuck on boot.. even trough odin it's a no go..
i have no idea what to do now as all firmware i can find are hosted on hotfile and that site is closed down.
if anyone has an idea i an willing to try it
At first find ODIN, install Android SDK and adb on PC.
Try to flash latest original 4.0.4 ICS from sam site.
Download and install clockworkmod recovery through ODIN, you can download it from clockworkmod[dot]org website.
Voila! You now can flash all custom roms from SGT Android Development forum!!!
---------- Post added at 04:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:03 PM ----------
P.S. Don't forget to make a FULL WIPE in CM before install a new ROM! Full wipe is recommended always before installing new rom!!!
you can try to open (android system recovery) after install custom rom and then do a wipe data/factory reset
steps
1- power off the tap
2- click on (volume up button + power button )
3 - choose data/factory reset
4-yes
5- reboot your tap
this work for me you can try it
same issue
I have exactly the same problem I have the tablet GT-P7500UWVVTR but impossible to find the original firmware with this tablet. I tried to flash with a firmware with ICS because my build stop at honeycomb and after doing that impossible to going back it stop at the startup with galaxy tab 10.1.
I don't have the original firmware.
All the firmware with p7500 (D or W or R) doesn't work
I can only access to the Odin download mode
When I tried to enter the reset factory it reboot the tab but never enter in the menu
Could anyone have the stock firmware for the GT-P7500UWVVTR after I will root the tablet and install a custom rom to hace ICS
Thanks in advance everyone
I was running Android 4.2. My device was rooted but working with the stock rom. I realized a new ROM called Tigra came out so I wanted to get it. But First, according to instructions I needed to update the phn with the new leaked android 4.3. I installed it and everyhting was just fine. I thought i could go on process. But I was instructed to download a CMW Philz touch recovery and I did well. Then downloaded the .tar file and proceded to install the ROM using Odin latest version. But after this process my phn is stock on the same screen where shows the phn model. I've tried getting into recovey mode and wiping/formatting delvik cache and some others steps listed:
After that go to “Mounts & Storage” and choose “Wipe /cache”. In the end go to the main menu of recovery and Reboot your phone.
Now the Android Boot Loop should be gone now. If it still persists, do the following on your device. Go to “Mounts & Storage” and Choose “Wipe /data” after that Choose “Wipe /cache” and now reboot your phone.
... but it did not work.
Please help me find a solution.

I can´t get to recovery mode. My phn displays: "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again", Please what should I do? I'm now downloading the stock.tar to try flashing back but every instruction on the web says that it must be on recovery mode. Now is my mind who's on a loop!
Volume down + home + power is download mode. You have to use Odin on a pc to flash it.

1. Get TWRP recovery for your device. Flash it using Odin. If you can't flash it using Odin, use ADB and flash TWRP.
2. Here on, if you can successfully flash the stock ROM to your device using TWRP, you will have the device with stock Android running.
3. If you can't flash, enter TWRP recovery and mount all the drives and wipe them. Now flash stock ROM. You will have your device back.:good:

if anyone can use this documentation to bypass mdm mode it will be great
Very good. Very interesting.
But is for developers ...
Code is missing ....
as long as you can get into download mode it is pretty simple Ive done quite a few. Download stock firmware and in odin click on the options tab select nand erase all checkbox and flash the stock files in and it removed the mdm while flashing.
Worked for me
Thanks buddy

For me this worked pretty much, but I only needed step 1. Once inside TWRP recovery, I just needed to wipe to factory reset and reboot. These were the steps for my Eat 24 tablet SM-T280:
1. Install the drivers if necessary
2. Go to Download mode by using Volume Down + Home + Power
3. Download and Extract TWRP compatible with SM-T280 here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...covery-samsung-galaxy-tab-a6-sm-t280-t3475381. TWRP is a custom recovery image for Android.
4. Download and Install Odin (this works only on Samsung devices)
5. Use Odin by running as administrator, uncheck Auto Reboot, select AP and point to the extracted TWRP .tar file, then click on start.
6. Once successful, hold home + volume down + power to shut off tablet.
7. Go to TWRP recovery by holding home + volume up + power.
8. Select "Wipe", and "swipe to factory reset"
9. Reboot
This worked for my SM-T280

I'm writing this reply in hopes that it will help anyone else in a similar situation.
Before finding this thread i had zero, ZERO experience rooting/flashing twrp'ing, whatever you call it.
I still don't understand fully what i did by following the instructions in this thread.
I just know it worked.
By using the instructions here and from another thread on this website, i was able to successfully flash twrp [whatever you call it] my Samsung A6 that was in mdm mode.
Prior to following the instructions in this thread, i could only go online with my tablet. It wouldn't let me open any settings, change anything, it wouldn't let me do a factory reset.
Now, i am able to use the tablet as if i had just purchased it.
After following the instructions, and after rebooting, i saw the screens you normally see when you turn on your tablet for the first time. All of the setup, agree to terms, Samsung account setup, available WiFi connections; everything; it was all there just like it's supposed to be.
I was so excited to see the setup screens.
After agreeing and going through setup I was able to use my tablet 100% like normal.
Thank you and thank you to the other users who posted directions on how to do this.
I will soon post my own new thread that will have each step laid out so that anyone in the same situation can easily follow it from beginning to end.

Hi, I was able to unlock a Samsung Galaxy Tab A that was locked in MDM mode by postmates.
MDM blocked any recovery wiping or download mode flashing, so I couldn't flash TWRP.
I was able to set a screen lock (pattern) and turn on "wipe after 15 attempts." After 15 attempts it rebooted and was stuck on the logo screen for hours so I figured it didn't do anything. I was able to reboot into download mode and successfully flash TWRP at this point (I forgot to select NAND erase). I also was able to flash the stock rom, though unable to wipe in recovery first. I wasn't able to get into TWRP.
It rebooted and seemed like before, with the postmates kiosk mode and MDM lock in recovery wipe and download mode flashing. I went back into download mode and tried to flash TWRP again with nand selected. It didn't work, neither did flashing a ROM.
Anyways, it rebooted into the setup screen as if it was wiped.
