Telus MIUI 1.9.23 all buttons working? - Fascinate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have a way to get miui 1.9.23 for telus fascinate with all buttons working? Ever time i flash 1.9.23 everything is perfect, it is very fast, but the home and search buttons do not work. The device isn't even detecting button presses when I test them in recovery.

You have to flash an appropriate kernel for telus fascinate that works with the rom you are using, in your case look for Glitch or Neo kernels that have a build for our phones.

[Q]Espresso and Glitch. Need Help.

I have been trying to flash Glitch v12 after flashing the Espresso Rom (Runnymede SII). Once I flash the Glitch kernel and reboot I get past the Glitch splash screen but then get stuck at the Espresso splash screen (just says android). I have read the forums forwards and backwards about Glitch working on the Espresso Rom but I can not get it working.
I love the Glitch kernel and I am wanting to try out the Espresso rom. From what I am seeing with the rom I love it and it will be so much better with the Glitch kernel.
I saw a couple places mention something about CWM 5.0+ and Glitch are not working properly. ?????
Any help would be great.

[Q] Touch keys fail to work on certain roms

I've been messing around with various roms and kernels and have noticed for some reason some roms and/or kernel is disabling my backup and search keys. Just installed MIUI and only have the settings and home keys. This has also happened with a few other roms I have tried.
I have followed all directions as far as doing wipes and cache clears as per the directions for each rom but I can't seem to find a fix and have searched for a solution to not find an answer so I decided to post here.
Information about said phone:
-Galaxy S 2 AT&T
-UnNamed Rom v2.2.1
-Siyah Kernel 2.6.7
The above setup works fine but the moment I installed MIUI everything was fine but the two keys did not function.
I've owned the phone for about just under two weeks and am coming from an iPhone 4 jailbroken. Figured I was bored was iOS to an extent so decided to mess around with Android and so far I'm liking it.
Thanks for any answer someone can provide~

CyanogenMod 9 Stable Release?

When the "official" ICS for the galaxy tab was released, I was pleased to know that now I would have the cameras working again, I use my tablet for skype, so that where good news. But immediately after installing the official release, I started to miss CyanogenMod. Can you tell me if someone is working in CM9 with working cameras.
List of things so far:
-No Power Button Menu (when I press the power button the tab immediately turns off)
-No 3G
-No system tray auto hide options
-No Lockscreen
-Settings menu oversimplified
Any help solving any this problems would help a lot.
Forget the release date please help me with the following:
-Power Button Menu (Recover, Reboot, Profile, etc)
-System tray auto hide
-Lockscreen
Please!!!
I'm not sure what you mean by power button and lockscreen. Power button has airplane mode and reboot enabled in official ics. And lockscreen works also.

All I can say is check the threads for the SGT they are always busy trying to fix things also you can always go to there website. If all fails and and you really need the camera I suggest don't flash anything until its fixed cause flashing a rom knowing that the camera does not work then asking for a fix will only irritate the devs...

I think that the release is near now that Samsung has released de source code, pershoot is working in get a CM9 fully working, and the base CM9 is already stable. I hope to see a CM9 stable in the next weeks (maybe days? :fingers-crossed: )
Looking forward to a stable CM9 release on our Tabs. I'm not that big a fan of the stock TouchWiz ICS, but since it has a working camera, it'll do for now.
Well now that the real ics stock rom is out I'm sure they can move toward...

I found this threat today, but didn't solve any of the problems, can someone try it and say if this works.
Original poster: There is definitley something wrong with your tab. If you have flashed the correct CM build for your tab all those things should be working. If I were you I would flash to stock ICS with Odin using the correct firmware for your region from www.sammobile.com This will put you on the ICS bootloader, it will also wipe your sd partition but its the best way to start fresh. Then flash the appropriate CM build for your model from pershoots blog http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/roms/cm9/ the one dated 09/01 is the most recent and is built from the 3.1 kernel source so both cameras are working. Be sure to use the supplied CWM recovery and perform all necessary wipes i.e Cache, dalvnik cache, factory reset.
To all others: Pershoot is working on getting CM9 to RC status before work begins on CM10. He does great work so be patient.

[Q] Defy+ w/ ICS CM9 - Retail keyboard+phone+contacts?

Hi there,
I'm very rookie at this developing stuff however I've tried to upgrade my Defy+ from 2.3.6 GB to 4.0.4 ICS using CM9 nightly Custom Rom.
I've experienced many issues on the process but the phone seens to be stable now, everything is working fine.
I have some issues regarding the CM9 ICS and really hoping that you guys are able to help me in reach the ideas I need, here it is:
1 - I've changed my touch screen and in the procedure i left the light sensor kindly covered with adhesive eek. In the Ginger Bread, when I was in a Call, the screen gets off and I was able to turn it back on pressing the Power button, at ICS this doesn't work.
2 - Regarding the above, I'm wondering in extract the Phone and Contacts applications from the Retail ROM in order to try a solution for these and because i was familiar with the appearence of it. Is that possible? It should work?
3 - I'd loved the Swype and Keyboard interface of the Retail 2.3.6 GB, is it possible to bring it to the CM9 ICS? How do I do this?
Many many thanks for the reading!
Marcelo
There is any how to install the official 2.3 GB motorola Aplications on the CM9 4.0 ICS?
