Have noticed something a bit odd..
I have recently upgraded to Tough X-Power 2.0 and noticed that video maker had disappeared.
When I check system/apps folder the apk is there but it keeps on failing to install
Unsure whether it's a ROM specific issue or just the version of gingerbread.
Anyone else experience this?

It seems to be just an x-power 2.0 ROM issue.. It works fine with villainROM

Hi!
I'm using CM6.1.3 V54with .58 baseband on my X10i about 2weeks ago, and now the system player cannot play any videos. I can record video, but i cannot play.
And i don't make any mods or something that cause this problem i think.
Anyone has an idea how i can fix it?
Well for me its working great. Try flashing the patch released by wolfbreak related to the camera

I'm already using it. V54 is the latest update. And it worked, but today i used videocamera, and i want to review the record, but dont worked. I tried a lot of videos, but already the same message: sorry, thos video cannot be played.

Yeah, but i just reinstalled, restored all stuff, and its working fine...

Im not sure if this is why, but i find our X10 heats up very quick and whenever u try to install something when the phone is really hot, it almost always messes up.
Hi peeps, was thinking of flashing cyanogen to my s2, now its a little more stable but would like to know if I can rip the odd app from TW stock rom as an apk and install it/them on my shiny new flashed cyanogen rom.Tia

Only apps in data and some system apps but/most Samsung stuff won't work.
The one I am after is the voice widget, anybody know if this is possible?.

Hey im running CM7.2 and a lot of apps that were compatible before with stock are not now. I was wondering if any one else has these problems and if there is a fix.

Can you be specific? Which apps?
I tried to download word with friends. And it said it was incompatible. And pretty much all the wallpaper apps were incompatible. Such as picspeed wallpapers HD. I may be mistaken and maybe these apps are really just not compatible with the photon. But I remember playing words about a month ago when I was on stock.

So i have been having a similar problem. I tried installing tiny tower, discover card, capital one bank, and citi credit card apps and all of them said "your device is incompatible with this version" on the google play store. I tried to use the apk to install tiny tower manually and it came back saying "application not installed" I also tried reflashing gapps as was suggested above and that didn't seem to change anything.
These apps all worked fine on the stock sense OS but they don't work on cm7.2
I've heard that there are patches for CM7.2 RC1, is that true, does anyone know where i could get them so i could flash them?

From my experience the apps not compatible is due to changing settings of your screen density
. Stock is 240. Have you changed it? Rom toolbox? Modify build.prop? Or even in the cm7 settings?

I've recently re-installed Ressurection Remix 2.6 and although I love the rom I was rather disappointed to see that the camera app has been replaced with Camera ICS from Play Store.
This version does not come with the real time 'funny face' video features which I had before.
Anyone know how I can go about getting that one back in my phone?

Yeah I was wondering the same thing, I tried it on my Acer a510 running CM10 (unofficial) but photosphere just kept crashing with the gallery FC every time I tried it, I changed the language to United States as the workaround suggests but still FC.
Android Keyboard FC too.
Anyone else tried it and got photosphere to work? or have a workaround?

Some of them are crushing unfortunately, for example photo sphere. Android keyboard works perfectly with no FC. I.e. on my p7500 work almost perfect.
There's no setting on Gallery.

Same here (latest CM10 build).
Work fine but on a fresh install I had the keyboard missing and had to install another one.
Not 100% sure it was gapps's fault anyway.
