[Q] Can anyone confirm about gaming on Flyer? - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

Hi guys,
I do know that Flyer is a sexy device, and powerful too.
But before deciding to buy, and because I am a heavy gamers, I need your guys advice about gaming on this monster.
1. Are Gamloft HD games full screen or not?
2. Are following games full screen / played smoothly or not: Cut the Rope, Dead Space, Diversion, E. Warriors, Gun Bros, Gun'n'Glory, Silpheed Alternative, Spectral Souls?
Thanks a lot (for your answers and time for testing)

I'm not sure about the gameloft games but cut the rope, gun bros, gun and glory and e warriors all work and are full screen.

Thanks mate,
I personally think Dead Space and Spectral Soul should be full screen as they support 3.2 devices like Xoom.
Only concern is Gameloft HD and Silpheed Alternative.
Besides, as I'm quite new here, can you guys show me the ROM for Flyer without 3G? That thing is cheap here.

[Q] Best Games on Nook

What would you guys say are the best games available for the Nook?
I too am looking for a consolidated list of the best games.
Specifically, let's try and make this thread a list of the games that are stable on the NC, and also the specific versions of said games.
Let's post the method to legally acquire these games and what is needed to get the best version running on the NC, and/or the tricks necessary to have the best experience.
Of course Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons.
Also emulators + games (Snes,Genesis,etc)
All work great no tweaking..
Pocket Legends owns me right now
They say its WoW in your pocket, works great on NC
You can download for free on the pocketlegends.com android forum
sent from my NookColor
I've been playing Mini Squadrons and Grave Defense.
Bowquest
Doodle Jump
Gun Bros Beta
Hungry Shark
Meteor Blitz
Reckless Racing
Squibble
Zenonia
Zombie Defense
...all working great for me.
One thing to note: I have squareparts added.
My list(I only add games that work great):
4 Player reactor
Angry Birds
Astro
Basketball Shot
Bonsai Blast
Bow Man
Buka HD
Can Knockdown
Crazy God
Crush the Castle
Dungeon Hunter
eagle Nest
Fast and Furious: Adrenalin 3D
FireFox
GuitarHero 5
Gun Bros
Heavy Gunner
Homerun Battle 3D
Krazy Kart Racing
MiniGore (THE FUNEST GAME OF ALLL TIME)
NinJump
My Paper Plane
Penguin Golf
PSX4Droid
Rope Cut
Speed Forge 3D
Tank Hero
Totem HD
Transformers G1
PLants VS Zombies
These all look great. It seems like games that need to be rendered in real time(aka 3D games) will perform the best. The second will be games that use vectors, such as angry birds.
games
Pocket legends
angry birds season
zeonia
crazy snowboarder
For the Gameloft games, which method are people using to download?
On their website, you have to select a phone model and then enter a phone number.
Is there a best device model to choose? I was thinking of selecting the Galaxy Tab, and then sending the download link to my Droid. Then I was thinking, would it be better to select the Droid itself?
I was thinking it would be best to select a device that has the same or similar resolution as the NC, but... the Galaxy Tab has a better GPU, a PowerVR SGX540, compared to the NC's GPU (same as the Moto Droid and other TI OMAP devices: PowerVR SGX530)... so, not really sure. Trial and error usually doesn't lead to too many problems, but I've never bought any Gameloft games, no idea how it works in terms of getting different app versions, specifically for activiation or anything (if there is any activation).
edit:
And for games that don't show up in the market, what's a good legal method of getting these games? Just download on another Android device and load that apk onto the NC?
On my NC, I have the latest Market version found in another thread, but there are still a ton of apps that are not showing up when I perform a search. It's not an issue of only paid apps not showing up, even Firefox is absent on my NC's market.
Same as other people, but poolbreak pro is also good.
Robo Defense works, but requires Square Parts.
Disco, where'd you find Plants vs Zombies?

It's actually SPARE parts.
Here's instructions on what to do with it:

Ok, yea I'm using that. I thought it was something else because another person said about square parts earlier.
I haven't played Pocket Legends yet but I plan on changing that in the next few minutes!
All of the rest have worked fine for me. I spend most of my time playing with Nesdroid, Dungeon Hunter, and Angry Birds.
Also, Game Dev Story works great.

Would also love to know the answer to this question. I have both hero of sparta and dungeon hunter for my og droid but when i try and load them it says something to the effect of incompatible device.
If u could get spiderman total mayhem fro gameloft to DL the extra data I would say that is hands down the best playing/looking mobile game ever. I love it on my droid

So I just checked out Pocket Legends while I was on my lunch break. Thankfully I pretty much get to make my own schedule because my usual one hour break turned into about a two and half hour one. Thank you, thank you, thank you bigted41 for the suggestion!
Also, if you're in the market for a good, old school 8-bit RPG - Gurk runs pretty well.

[Q] Gameloft games

does anyone know how to get these gameloft games compatitable with htc flyer? just bought a game and it just doesn't work. can anyone help me? cheers.
If you are still on Gingerbread (Android 2.3.x) just look for HTC Evo View 4G compatible Gameloft games. Under Honeycomb (Android 3.x) I only got Asphalt 6 HD 3.0.1 to run.
How bout heros of sparta? And other latest games by gameloft? Asphalt 6? Does any of those work ob the flyer?
Sent from my HTC Flyer P510e using xda premium
Well unlike most developers gameloft has a habbit of making their games run at specific resolutions etc .... they do this because they are stupid.
It creates more work for them as they have to release a different apk for each device.
It makes their target market smaller as they cannot sell every product to everyone.
I hope they pull their heads out of there a** and stop releasing games this way.
... sorry for the rant ... but I HATE this about gameloft...
On another note, I contacted them about moving games from one phone to my new phone and they said I would have to re-puchase the games! - money grabbing bastards!

[Q] Is the G9 101 good for games?

Is the archos G9 a good Tablet for Games like:
Angry Birds
or
Real Racing 2
and other 3D games?
because i would like to buy me a G9 101 to my birthday
and i never had a Tablet before
Lg, Amesienboer
It's pretty good at those three, although personally I like NFS Hot Pursuit more than Real Racing. I recommend you overclock, theme and swap

No problem mate, hope you enjoy it
Sent from my ARCHOS 80G9 using XDA Premium HD app
i dont have think that but the Archos 101 G9 turbo is faster as my Motorola Xoom ...
Problem is only the Fuc.... Handling mean poor processing (is that right in English ?!) Games Compatibly is a Problem too !
would actually it must work but it dosnt work with games (Gameloft)I Think that the Display is to big, Games are make for Smartphones Like Samsung i9000 with 4" Displays now Archos have a realy Big Screen
Good for games!
I have the following games on my Archos 80 G9 which I think would look better on the 101:
1. Heavy Gunner
2. Air Attach HD
3. Turbo Fly
4. Destroy Gunner F
5. Escape 2012
and many more
Tiki kart runs excellent on my 80 g9 and that seems graphicly hungry and more games are now being made for tablets (not just phones) due to their high sales, so expect to see a lot more titles for tablets soon.
The dual core CPU and graphics chip are fully utilised in ICS so there should be no problem with most games unless they are badly programed and that would be the developers fault not the tablet so go for it and join the Archos fan club.
Psi.
I've got these working
Fast 5
Modern combat 3
X plane
Raging thunder 2
Super monkey ball
Riptide GP
just change your build.prop to enjoy games on our G9

hey migss, i guess you bought your G9 from tekpone?

Jetsteam HD games - "Where are they?"

As many of you found when you first initiated your tablet, there were 2 "HD" games pre-loaded onto our Jetstream's.
·Let's Golf 2 HD
·NFS: Shift HD
Now, as we all know, gaming support for our expensive tablet has been well, very slow.
But what I want to talk to guys about today is if the games available to us through the Play Store are, or are not High-Definition games? Because the "HD" part on most icons is missing?
Are "HD" games nVidia Tegra only? Is that the issue?
Should I not worry about it?
Secondly, and evermore disconcerting is that I've been looking through the Reviews sections of most popular games, and I haven't yet found a single review, from any of us...
Does that mean that us Jetstream users aren't buying games?
Please reply.
I have the wheres waldo game.
looks hot.
lol

Some high quality games

Hi guys! In a few days, I'm going on a holiday, so I would like to ask if you could point out some great games which are of high quality and are quite entertaining. I've tried some, including iStunt 2, Tank Hero, Stupid Zombies etc. Please give me your opinion and your favourites.
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using XDA
Plants vs. Zombies, Asphalt, Atomic Bomber, and Air Traffic Control are some of my favorites. Oh, and the bridge building games, like X construct. Oh, and one more: Rocket Bunnies.
