New Android market for SK17i - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hey ive been using the old market for about 3 months with my SK17i, but today, when I boot up my phone after full charged my old android market automatically updated to the new one.
Did your SK17i did the same too?

Aah i thought it was my data connection that was being ****ing retarded. I have the new market too , and it is terribly slow, is it possible to put the old one back?

I agree, the new market is terribly slow. I got it three days back. I thought I was the only one with the problem. The old one even looks better.
I found a way to remove the new market temporarily. Just open market from application manager and choose 'uninstall updates'. You'll have to do this whenever you need to use the market, 'cause when you exit, you'll find it updated again after some time.

whenever I want to download a big game or app, I would uninstall the market app. it will only uninstall the update. after that I would download the game or app. however, when the download is over, the market automatically gets updated within a few minutes.

Yes just go into manage applications and go to the market and uninstall the market update

Yeah (I mentioned that trick first), but it still opens the old market and I'll have to download from there. Then I should just uninstall update every 10 minutes and use the old market. Its as fast as appbrain.

I have Market 3.1.5, It's very slow.. yes
but after cleaning the app cache, Market work really better

to get old market
to get the old market back (need root):
1. get titanium backup pro
2. unistall market updates (make sure your not connected to internet)
3. then freeze an app called market updater.apk using titanium backup
ive done this and i still have the old market

Yes, you can. Just do this : preferences -> enable fast web install (account settings)
