Hi everyone,
I urgently need help. I tried using FlashTool to flash Baseband 2.1.71 and it said:
02/026/2011 00:26:55 - INFO - Flashing finished.
02/026/2011 00:26:55 - INFO - Now unplug the device and power it on
02/026/2011 00:26:55 - INFO - Then go to application settings
02/026/2011 00:26:55 - INFO - turn on Unknown Sources and Debugging
So I unplugged the phone, tried to turn it on, it shows the Sony Ericsson splash page but just keeps rebooting.
I can not get into xRecovery at all. I've tried pressing back when starting up.
I just flashed a firmware (X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_only kernel_baseband.ftf), not the ROM. I was intending to flash the firmware first and then flash the rom after with xRecovery but I've messed it up. Do I need to bundle the ROM and firmware together then use flashtool? I can still connect the phone to apply flashes.
HELP! Thanks in advance.
What do I do now?
Hello everyone,
I just flashed this package:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192152&highlight=[ROM]+prerooted+GB%29
And it installed the 2.1.71 baseband and the 2.3.3 Generic SE rom (looks really nice by the way to whoever's the developer on that). My phone is now operational again!!
Thanks again guys (and girls) for helping me.

i flashed phone from cyanongen v15 to Froyobread 023c.
After installation was complete i rebooted.
Device was vibrating and boot screen was displayed.
The device wont upload the phone and is stuck in a boot loop.
After a few tries in boot loop the display is freezing and nothing happens.
While rebooting (Manually), i discovered i cant run Xrecovery
now i cant seem to find a solution. i would much appreciate any help at all!!
(i did check and the baseband required is OK! + XREC and CWM fits)

Hi, I have a similar problem, however whenever I try and use PC companion it asks me to perform actions on the x10mini screen which I can't do because the phone is stuck on the Sony logo screen.
I can't pull the battery and restart because (I think) the battery isn;t removable on the mini.
Any ideas ?

Thanks
I managed to get into recovery and turn the phone off from there, started then connected with the back button and am trying the sony repair option now...
It worked, awesome, I know the issue was that I'd pressed the optimize button in Flashtool ... now to flash another rom.
All sorted.
Got the right recovery on there then flashed the rom, thanks again.

My phone was also stuck in a boot loop after installing the MiniCM7-2.1.5 ROM.
I managed to restore the original firmware using SEUS following these steps.

When I first tried to recover my phone using Flashtool 2.9.1 with X10a_1.0_2_1_A_0_435.tft I got the same message, after that it would say go turn on debugging.
Well after I updated the flash tool to 3.0.0 and also switching to X10a_2.1update1_r2.1.A.0.435_Generic.tft I had success.
Those are the files I used to recovery my phone, What happend was my friend factory reset the phone and then all I would get is a black screen and a 40 min boot time. Connecting via usb would not turn on, So i plugged in usb, held the back button then put the battery in. I got green light, then i pressed flash picked my File and it worked. Problem solved.
Those files are for x10a, might work for you idk. Just keep looking
im trying it bud it is same

wrong section. move the question to the Q&A section.
but you also have to flash the firmware 2.3 along with the baseband 71
Wrong section should post this in Q&A. Did you flash a 2.3 Rom 1st? if not flash 2.3 with xrec if you don't have recovery flash back to 2.1 firmware take battery out plug phone in hold back button then replace battery
Sent from my X10i using xda premium
Okay I'll move this to the Q&A section. Sorry.

1. You are in the wrong section!!!
2. The phone is not bricked. Bricked means dead. Nothing. Fineto. Caprende?
3. Just flash the generic firmware using flashtool. Search "Generic 2.3.3 firmware x10" then it will come up with the thread by arkdek and choose the one for your country and download. Once downloaded flash it then reboot.
Next time post in the right thread. Or you will end up getting yourself a ban from here as they are cracking down with all this. Also next time use the search tool as this has happened and been asked and answered like 10 times already so you would of found your answer quicker

What ROM are you using? My best guess would be that whatever firmware you're running doesn't support the baseband. Flash back to your old one, find a ROM that supports BB.71 and try again
I was using slade87_GinTonicSE for my SE X10 Mini Pro. I downloaded & tried new ROM i.e, Xperia Blaze V3 with the normal procedure for installing a custom ROM. It was successfully installed looking good and was also working fine.
But, I was not satisfied and I thought to install some another ROM which i don't remember that ROM. It almost got completed and the phone was about to start(Long Start at first boot),it was at SE logo. It usually takes 8-10 mins, isn't it? But in this case I controlled my patience and waited for 13-15 mins but then i thought it's got hanged. So I removed the battery out and i tried to flash with U20_1.0_Default Kernel.ftf using flashtool. All the process was completed and the phone was back at the default kernel. I was in little bit in relief situation, but the problem was that the touch was not at all working(I cannot able to swipe to unlock the menu screen), not a single button was working, and the phone was steady with the screen menu light ON. The only way to turn off or restart it was removing the battery again.
The phone is still in this situation.:crying:
I tried to do flashing with different kernels like
U20_nAa-ics-04_2.6.29.6-nAa-ics-04.ftf
U20i_2.1.1.A.0.6_Baseband_015.ftf
The error was something like:
17/029/2012 17:29:04 - ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="MEMORY_CLASS";ERR_STATIC="HASH_VER";ERR_DYNAMIC="Block verification failed";
17/029/2012 17:29:04 - ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted

17/029/2012 17:29:07 - INFO - Device disconnected
17/029/2012 17:29:09 - INFO - Device connected in flash mode
Whenever i turn on the phone, it's still and steady on the menu screen and the screen menu light is on with touch and none of the buttons working.
Buddies...Please help me solve this issue.
