iam using my TG01 as a ebook reader only.
I would need a very clean rom iam trying druRom4 today.
But this is what i need most, NO LOCK after switching the device back on, an i would love to habe my programm Mobipocket Reader on the top, at least the shortcut to start it, when i switch my device on.

1. go to yor tg01 device windows\startup and delete the lock.exe
2. rename in windows\start menu\programms your Mobipocket Reader as 1Mobipocket
if you copy the Mobipocket Reader.lnk from windows\start menu\programms
to windows\startup- the Mobipocket Reader starts on boot.

Hi All,
Followed the upgrade procedure for my XDAII, and have found that (apart from one or two little bugs, and the camera app being absolute rubbish) WM5 is o.k.
However, WindowsMedia 10 is causing me a headache - I can't seem to get the desktop player to sync via ActiveSync 4 (Build 4343) to copy across any music files to the XDA - I have to use an SD card reader and sync the playlists directly to the card, rather than through the device itself.
Any ideas?
P.S - Pocket Railplanner (http://www.travelinfosystems.co.uk/) works O.K with WM5!

I'm looking for an alternative to Acrobat Reader 2.0. Acrobat Reader seems to dislike Windows 6.1 and/or AP 4.0 and is causing alot of unnecessary crash.
The built-in Acrobat LE is not helpful - I need a software to work with tagged files !
Who can help ?

Not sure what you mean with "tagged files", but you should give PocketXpdf a try.
I've been using it for some months now, it fullfills most of my pdf-needs.
And it's free (FOS).

what ebook reader can we use for our phone? i mean not just reading the document i can do that, but to format the page to our resolution so it's not necesary to scrool the text...
I use iReader. I really like It. No need to scroll down, shows page after page. Works with txt files as well.
FbReader works fine too.
I just received my G Tab yesterday (non-woot) and so far I love it. I installed CWM then flashed Vegan. Something about it didn't feel right, so I switched over to TNT Lite 4.4. I also installed Launcher Pro and have figured out how to use it to customize my "desktop" a little. Basically I have a few random questions.
1) Is there a way to disable the "dock" screen?
2) Is there a way to disable the lock screen that comes up after the screen has turned off?
3) Any recommendations on a good replacement for MS Office that can open, edit, and create documents that are compatible with Office?
4) Any recommendations on a good remote desktop app I can use to access files and software on my laptop?
5) Any recommendations on a compact, portable, hopefully inexpensive Bluetooth mouse?
6) How do I copy files from my laptop to my external micro SD card? Do I have to put the micro SD card into my laptop, or can I leave it in the tablet and copy them somehow? When I plug the tablet into my laptop it only appears to give me access to the internal SD.
7) Any other random apps I should look into getting? I plan to use my G Tab to basically replace my laptop, which I only ever use for surfing the web, email, facebook, etc.
8) In particular, any particular apps I should get for playing video/audio files?
9) Is there a tutorial somewhere I can read about how to find movies and get them onto my tablet to watch?

Easiest way to move files (other than sneakernet) is to install Dropbox.
