Does the AT&T SGS2 stock rom include tether / wireless AP? If so, has anyone used this without the tethering plan? What was the experience?

I have PIPO M8 3G tablet running on Android 4.1.1, the problem is that Tethering and Portable hotspot are missing from the menu.
Is there any way to enable tethering if it's not in the ROM?
The device is ROOTED.
It also cannot make phone calls and send SMS is there a way to enable them too?
You can flash a custom ROM which has the tethering and hotspot options...

There are not any available.... just one based on stock rom.
Hello,
after the instal in my samsung Note one N7000 Europe I can not use tethering.
He gives nice tethering is ready including the icon on the top. But not any another device (2x laptop 2x Android devices can find the thetering wifi network.
I have also install a another program for tethering but also the same problem.
I use android 4.2.2 with paranoidandroid 3.1
Please do anyone a solution. So not I have to go back to ....

Hi, I9300, is there a recommended custom rom that retains the FM radio and has wifi tether working? (not fallback tether - carrier doesn't let those packets through). Thanks!

I have a one question rgatding the viperone rom. Is the At&t tethering hack included in this rom? Cuz i was able to activate it and use it. Will i be charged extra for this or is it seen as normal data? Thanks
ViperOne includes the normal Android tethering. Don't abuse the use of tethering and you should be fine.
Does anybody know what stock Apk's we need to add WiFi calling to a non stock ROM? Or can it be done? I have the stock WiFi calling all but I need more to do the activation and setup.
