A general question, are all roms compatible with the 3G Version of the (non V) 10.1 Tab? (7500). I know that the x.x.36.4 Kernel is a no-go for the 3G one. But besides that, are there other limitations?
Because some of the ROM Cookers don't write down if the rom was cooked from the 3G or Wifi base :/
I just can imagine that a Wifi-based rom will work but without the 3G-modem functionality.
Does the AT&T SGS2 stock rom include tether / wireless AP? If so, has anyone used this without the tethering plan? What was the experience?

I have PIPO M8 3G tablet running on Android 4.1.1, the problem is that Tethering and Portable hotspot are missing from the menu.
Is there any way to enable tethering if it's not in the ROM?
The device is ROOTED.
It also cannot make phone calls and send SMS is there a way to enable them too?
You can flash a custom ROM which has the tethering and hotspot options...

There are not any available.... just one based on stock rom.
Hello Gang,
I just flashed a friends VZW Fascinate and it lost all its connectivity. Even switched through Mobile Networks CDMA settings from to HOME to AUTO does nothing.
If I flash back to VZW Base ROM as per the Guide here...connectivity comes back.
Help?

OR,, it has signal bars but no connection?
what about Wi-fi?
Did you flash a gapps package after you flashed hellybean?
did you activate the phone 1st with verizon on stock 2.3.x rom?

Since this topic was already here I'll use it instead of making a new one. Like him I'm not getting any data after flashing Helly bean, or DU, or any other custom ROM. Data works great on stock. I flashed another modem, but that didn't work for me.
Does anybody know what stock Apk's we need to add WiFi calling to a non stock ROM? Or can it be done? I have the stock WiFi calling all but I need more to do the activation and setup.
