The Flyer is actually my 2nd, Xoom was the 1st (both Wi-Fi only). I really like the Xoom, but what attracted me to the Flyer was the pen and how HTC integrated that functionality. I really can use this for work, taking notes for various things, and something smaller than the Xoom to hold in one hand. I may sell my Xoom, but the $200 price drop was attractive too.
Since I do IT for a living, knowing me I'll keep both!
HTC Jetstream. I really only buy HTC mobile devices, and its been that way for years now. A bigger screen would be nice for browsing and watching video while on the couch. But really, the Flyer is just right for me 90% of the time, and the portability of a 7" tablet is really nice.
i would love a $99 HP Touchpad... that bad boy will fly once it get Ice Cream.

Fire is very interesting if you don't have a tablet. But aside from some cool-sounding Amazon integration, I wouldn't consider it a good choice for a 2nd tablet alongside the Flyer. Same 7" size, no cameras, and its reported to be a slightly updated version of the RIM Playbook hardware, running Android. None of that sounds very good if you already have a Flyer. Amazon is rumored to be coming out with a "better" tablet in a larger size early 2012. The Fire is reported to be just a rush job, in order for Amazon to have a cheap tablet on the market for holiday season.
Just got the flyer as a replacement for my color nook. I also have a iPad 1 which is my main tablet and also a transformer. I would reccomend waiting until end of the year until the new Kal-el chips come out.
Either the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 or the ASUS slider. Both look really neat. Were I to get a second tablet it would be a 10" device. The Sony tablet that's shaped like a folded over magazine and runs PS1 games looks interesting as well.

Just picked up a 32gb touchpad the other day off of eBay. Pretty sweet the webos is nice. Can't wait for CM's port of android. If I bought one with android native I would want a 10 inch htc device or a a tab.

I have the Thrive for connectivity and bigger display and the Flyer for "totability".
The Flyer performs better for all functions compared to my Droid 3 and Thrive. Even high def Flash plays better and does not run as warm as those devices.
$300 plus Flyer equals great consumer option.

waiting for the samsung notes... 5" with a lighter weight would be better than flyer, although i like HTC more.

I made some comments on the Fire previously on this thread. But now I'm also reading that the OS will be locked down to only allow apps from the Amazon Market, and not the Google Android Market. And no Netflix. The following article is speculating that the Fire will be as closed an ecosystem as the iPad.

Pre-order numbers are very good, indicating this will be a popular tablet, and probably a healthy dev community. So the Fire will likely get rooted and have custom ROMs to overcome these limitations. But out-of-the-box, this device looks too limited.

I too am looking longingly at the thrive... The transformer interest me because of the snap on snap off keyboard. But I am not sure I could tolerate something that didn't perform as well as my flyer. The 10"!htc looks interesting but I am not sure it is worth the price. For that much money I could get a ipad. I think waiting to see what the new chip sets bring is a good idea but I need a new toy for Christmas or maybe even Thanksgiving.

I have xoom wifi and thinking about the flyer for the same exact reason. I like the pen and software associated with it.
I like this on an acidemic level and a stylistic/artistic level

Hi All, I know I am about to get alot of attacks but please try give me a honest answer.
I currently own a Galaxy tab ans although it is a great device, I am a little disappointed with the updates on it. So, I am in the market for a new tablet.
The flyer looks like a fantastic option but looking at the forums, sounds like there is not much activity on development side. If I am wrong please correct me...
I love android, but it seems that the devices reach the sale by date too soon...

I've also had the Flyer since day 1, which in Netherlands was 17 May, and have meanwhile had three or four O/S updates.
The last update is not counted as I am now running on the beta Honeycomb rom (FlyHoney 0.02 version).
I Have Both...
Ipad2 and Flyer P512 just upgraded to FLYHONEY... with that being said, my uses leads me to the flyer. I utililize the pen and with the ipad2 cap pen it wasn't good enought for me.
I've played with the iPad. My Flyer suites me more. I like the portability, & customization of Android. Haven't changed ROMs, because I've been waiting for ICS. I have had about 3 OTA updates since getting it in September. The stylus helps for note taking in meetings h lectures. I have no use for my laptop since getting the Flyer. I'm bias towards Android, but iOS is very easy to use. It boils down to your own preference. But I know the 2nd gen of Samsung Galaxy Tabs are much better than the current crop, so if you're willing to wait take your time before buying.
I have both and I think I like the Ipad a tad bit better. That's mainly because I am heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem with 4 apple tvs, 4 macs, and 2 ipads. I like the fact that the ipad is more universally supported and you can literally get a app for everything. There are some anatomy apps on the ipad that I used last semester that really helped me with my grades. One of the killer apps for the ipad is airplay. When I have company over, I can easily pull something up on the ipad and show it on any of our HDTVs. I can't let go of the flyer though because I use it to take all my math notes and lecture notes at school. If I was away from home more often, I could see myself using the flyer much more especially since it has awesome battery life. I like it because it is pocketable and I can easily make a grocery list and just throw it in my pocket with the stylus. I once tried putting my ipad in my pocket and my wife thought I was really happy to see her =)
I have Flyer since first launch in my country (june 2011), there are only two (2) security update via OTA...I really want to have ICS on Flyer ....
Ipad2 is a very good device (I have both Ipad and Ipad2)... easy to use, always updated OS and I have purchased many apps and they are very useful... too bad that Ipad2 doesnt have Magic Pen otherwise I would sell my Flyer

Still, you can (or at least could - looks like it is unavailable right now) buy TWO Flyers to ONE iPad. With Magic Pens down to $39, that just made the Flyer a no brainer (although I am no longer one of the cool kids at the office anymore).

That definitely turns the economics upside down, and then the non-iPad manufacturer faces teh problem I have seen REPEATEDLY in Best Buy where a customer asks the same questio over and over again: "Why should I buy a Xoom/Samsung/RIM/Asus/whatever when I can get a 'REAL iPAD' for the same price or less?" Kind of leads credence to the line fo thinking that there is no "tablet" market, only an "iPad" market.
Much happier with my custom Flyer running LeeDroid 2.1. Did not like lugging around the iPad2. Gave it to my wife.
To say I can't live without my MacBook Pro, I hate everything else Apple has out. Advantage Flyer.
Good day all. I'm a Best Buy Silver member and have 45 day returns on merchandise. Anyways I picked up the Flyer a week ago and compared to the other tabs I have owned or own (Asus, Acer A500 and A100, HP Touchpad) this is the best in terms of overall functions. Another reason why I say that is because 10 inch tabs are over-the-top; especially if they don't have any ports (that's why I kept the Acer A500). I find 7-9 inchers are more usable. This Flyer is smooth and functions properly unlike most of the Honeycomb tabs. My only concern is will HTC update this beautiful beast? So I'm posing the question to the community of whether to ditch the Flyer or wait it out. Also any input or thoughts about the Samsung 7.0 Plus and if its worth the extra $100 are appreciated
I wish HTC would say something offical and it will make my decision clear.

The Sammy 7plus will have a TFT LCD screen (like Acer A100) not the Super AMOLED or IPS. That should give a pretty poor viewing angle, not up to Sams usual standards and thus much cheaper to build. On the other hand, Sammy has been promising lots of software updates lately.

Yea this tablet game is crazy. Sometimes I wish I would have been simple and gotten an iPad. Android is getting ridiculous. Anyways the inferred remote, updates, and Samsung usually has a decent amount of accessories is what's keeping me interested. I just have a bad feeling that the flyer is dead.

its maddening. HTC built an almost perfect tablet in the FLyer and then overpriced it at introduction and has failed to support it properly now. Makes me wonder if they are exiting the tablet market.
I too am starting to think HTC is calling it quits. Xoom 2 8.2inch where art thou. I would skip the samsung and wait for that. Much like the original xoom it will be nexus like and will get the most recent updates straight from Google. I miss my original xoom but it was just too darn large.

I think the Xoom 2 is a 8.2. I perfer the 7 inch, because I played with the Samsung 8 inch but it is tad big. I'm looking for something I can whip out in public and not look ridiculous. I think the Xoom will cost $545 though, didn't they learn anything?

Looked at the Xoom the other day and, yeah, too big to tote around comfortably so I started leaning toward the Flyer (I'm a huge HTC fan, love rooting my TBolt & Eris prior to that) but it seems like a lot of owners feel disappointed in HTC's (lack of) support for the device.
Maybe they'll go on a sub $200 fire sale if they announce 'no more'
I'm not sure what to get - but I do know that I want the ability to add storage, ie SD, etc., probably want a 7-8" screen with 9-10" being too large and I'd like it to have a good developer base behind it so I can root away and stay the flash addict that I am. Oh and I'd like the screen to be kind on the eyes for book reading & readable outdoors (so that means I need the AMOLED screen I believe?). I also like the $300 price point of this.
What else are you guys using besides the Flyer?

Acer A500 and Nexus S. I do agree the 10 inch ones are to large for daily use especially in public. At they are cool bit I need something portable.

Thank you, but the Nexus S is a phone, isn't it? And, yeah the 10" tab is going to be too large.
I'll have to get to Best Buy and see if they at least have an HTC Flyer on display that I can fiddle with.
I'm trying to make pretty much the same decision. I would rather not be left without an update to ICS. Other than that, the Flyer is looking pretty good. I like the design of it over the Galaxy Tab (though its design isn't horrible either), and it certainly felt snappy enough during my brief use of it in the store. The Tab is $100 more, and I doubt it will drop in the near future (i.e. before the end of the year), since it's a brand new product and Samsung would have a bunch of pissed off early-adopters on their hands. The Flyer, on the other hand, stands to drop in price again, since it's relatively old.
I was also considering the original Galaxy Tab because of the GSM capabilities (would be nice to throw in a pre-paid SIM card just in case), but Samsung failed to include it in the list of devices they're going to upgrade to ICS, and it felt just a tiny bit slow in the store, at least compared to the Flyer.
I am waiting for the day that Asus releases a 7 inch tablet. If they ever do, I will buy it and never look back. They release products that have top notch hardware and the best software and update support in my opinion. If only the transformer or transformer prime were a bit smaller, then they would be perfect for what I want.

They are ok. I have owned 2 Transformers and the build quality was not there. From the hollow back, light bleed, and cracking speakers. That's how I ended up with the Acer is was just solid.

TBH... The Flyer is slow compared to the new Dual Core tablets. however... for 300$ + the added pen functionality it's worth it.
My screen also has a yellow tint... Is that the same as every1 Else's?

The screen should not be yellow.
Actually at 1.5ghz the flyer is faster in most cases than any tablet out there. Dual core doesn't get you more usable speed in almost every case because few if any apps are designed in a way that can make use of the dual cores and Android only lets one app be foreground at a time. So most of the time a dual core is only using one and its slower than the Flyer.

Black Friday will probably yield some good deals, so I'm at least hanging tight for that pricing to come out before jumping on anything - and I think I'm going to sell my Ipod Touch, latest gen, NEVER use it.

I have the flyer and I love it! It's built super solid, its very fast, and I love how it scales apps in contrast to how to Galaxy tab did. On a 7" device I would end up using more phone apps then tablet apps anyway, so I don't care about honeycomb. I love my Flyer! The only thing that may replace it is the Galaxy Note...but then again I may still keep it since its really not worth it to only get $200 used for it. Hell, I'd keep it for that just to lend out or use it as a dedicated clock!
I used to be a active user here on XDA when Wondows mobile was the "cool" Mobile OS. Then I bought a iPod Touch when my father bought into the iPhone 3G. I got sucked into Apple with the 3GS, then the 4. I bought a 64gb 3g iPad when it came out, as well...but then I bought a ATT 3g Galaxy Tab refurbished just to try out android....and fell in love.(it made me feel like I used to with windows mobile...the customization) I kept the TAB for a few months then decided to sell both my iPad and my Tab and buy a iPad wifi for cheap, and a Flyer. I canceled my contract and used my unlimited ipad SIM in my Jailbroken iPhone 4....Loving life($30 a month is my only phone bill!)! That iPhone may be downgraded to a mp3 player though....since I am eye balling the Galaxy Note now.

The WiFi version is $300 on Amazon. But yes, the GSM one that I want is still pretty pricey. If I got the original Tab, though, I'd just pick it up from eBay or the forums or something. Or, maybe it will be on sale during Black Friday, since any retailers that still have them need to clear their inventory to make room for the Plus.
This is a hard decision, to be honest. After doing some more research on the Flyer, it seems that the easiest one to acquire in the States (the WiFi one from Best Buy), is also the one that throws up hurdles for modders, such as the inability to go back to stock from a custom ROM.
Now I'm kind of back at square one, debating between the original Tab, the Tab Plus, the Flyer, the IdeaPad A1, and pending more details and reviews, the Huawei MediaPad.

I have the choice between an HP touchpad or a Nook Color I know development is stronger on the Nook but I like the larger screen since I'm coming from a 10 inch screen. Basically a asking in those two forums would be pointless since they own that device so Evo 3D/ other device holders which one should i get?
Please note the SCHOOL part... I'm a broke student and don't have 400-600 to drop on a new tablet
neither, Asus Transformer Prime is the best tablet.
Touchpad all the way, the asus looks dope for a few hundred more though. The nook is great, but a little small for my tastes

The prime is actually 499 for the 32 GB version. Not too bad.
What do you need it for in school? If it's for taking notes you night really want to consider a cheap netbook.
I just got a Nook Tablet(the new one not the color), development isn't really rolling yet, we do have root and google market. But it does have a great screen and killer battery life(like 10 hours of continuous life). I've found that the 7 inch size is a lot more portable than I thought, Most cargo pants can fit my nook in there and it turns out most of my jackets have at least one pocket that can fit too. It's $250 so its pretty cheap. If your really on a budget there's the kindle fire($200) too.
I picked up a WiFi HTC flyer NIB over thanksgiving for $200 and its a great tablet. It's in the process of updating to honeycomb and it sure is pretty fast. I also own a touchpad but I use the flyer for all school notes because of seamless integration with evernote.

This man is right. The price to performance ratio of both the nook tablet and kindle fire really can't be beat. They can pretty much do everything that the $500 tablets can with only half the price.

I will try to answer your actual question and feel that I am pretty qualified to do so as I own both of the products of which you speak. Between the two, if you want to get work done, I would go with the HP Touchpad. I am running the CM7 Alpha 3 XRONified (custom rom based off of CM7 a3) and it is pretty darn stable. I had been using google docs through webOS to take notes and such, but now that Gingerbread is pretty much stable, I am using Quickoffice Pro (thanks amazon free app of the day). I did purchase the BT keyboard when I got this so this really helps. When I just had my NC, I carried both my 17 in laptop and my NC with me to school and the only school related thing I did with my NC was to display speaker notes when I was giving a presentation. Now I only bring my TP and BT keyboard with me. My laptop stays at home for heaving lifting (though I have a new smaller and lighter laptop) and my NC has been relegated to being an ereader.

You can easily get a used mint condition Asus Transformer 1 online for about $250. It is the best device I have ever purchased. With the keyboard dock it is amazing. You just can't beat a tablet for school that gets 16 hours of battery life.

This would have been my advice since I also saw the $249 black friday price. However, who knows if it will be that price again anytime soon. Plus he is looking at about $100 for a dock. So now, assuming an absolutely best case scenario, he would be spending 150 more than he was looking to spend. This is why still went with the TP.
Also, the TP doesn't have a problem balancing with the HP case (or any trifold case for that matter).
Agreed transformer 1 is the way to go and as was said you should have no prob finding one for 250 - 300.
I have an acer iconia 500 and for the price you cant beat it. Quite a bit of dev action and its a solid hc tab.

I just got a Nook Tablet(the new one not the color), development isn't really rolling yet, we do have root and google market. But it does have a great screen and killer battery life(like 10 hours of continuous life). I've found that the 7 inch size is a lot more portable than I thought, Most cargo pants can fit my nook in there and it turns out most of my jackets have at least one pocket that can fit too. It's $250 so its pretty cheap. If your really on a budget there's the kindle fire($200) too.

I do like the size but battery isn't much of a factor since I have 6 hour classes and being an EMT would make this great in terms of size and portability

Wow! This actually made my decision easier the only thing I was unsure of was the use of Bluetooth keyboards and compatibility which would make notes and portability much easier compared to a netbook/notebook
I would go for a newer tablet like most of you are mentioning but since my biggest factor is price a $150 32GB HPTP is my best bet since its for notes and books and its not too expensive

No problem. Also, the HP case is great, but you can get unofficial ones that will work for only a few bucks off of ebay. The main advantage that the HP case has is that the bezel is exposed which is important for the gestures available for WebOS. If you are just going to use it for android, though, this becomes a lot less important. I have the HP BT keyboard and it works great, but I am sure that you can use any BT keyboard. Also, if you can find a touchstone for cheap it is not necessary, but nice but you can wait on that since you are trying to save money.
I would be careful in getting your hopes up though, I don't think that you will find a HPTP for only 150 anymore. I looked at ebay and it looks like it will cost closer to $200
Ah I thought you wanted to be under 400 but yea 150 for the touchpad is tough to beat. Out of budget but just to give u something else to look at Bestbuy has the transformer on sale for 299.

I personally have the touchpad. With the update HP pushed out a few weeks ago and some of the pre ware available, webos really isn't that bad to use and the browser is, I personally think, the beat browser out on any tablet.
Then, when I'm not in school or on weekends, I boot into android for the apps and the fun.

I think I would go with a Flyer for $299. With the stylus you could take notes, it's a nice 7" form factor, etc. I wouldn't bother with a Fire or Nook (either) if you are planning to take notes with it.
On the flip side, the iPad 3 and more quad-core Androids will be coming out very soon, which will either provide a better option or it will drive the price of these older ones down.

I'm in the market for a $200 Tablet. I can find many Flyers for sale for about $200. There all 16G, and come with the Pen. So I was woundering. Are you Users happy with this device? Or would you rather have another cheap tablet like the Fire or Nook.

I have a Flyer, which I bought (as many people did) around Christmas-time for $200. I use it quite often, to read pdfs, play games, bring with me to use wireless (I don't have a phone). I like it for what it is.
However, that said, I would not recommend dropping $200 for one right now. Maybe if you can grab one for $150 (there was mention of a deal like that in the general forum). Development by HTC on the Flyer has pretty much stopped, with no plans to go forward. There is some nice development going on by XDA members (like Lee's LeeDroid), but beyond that, not much more.
In my opinion, the biggest sign of the problem is with the well-known GPS problem on Honeycomb, which does not allow the device to maintain a lock. HTC is aware of the problem, but there is no fix (nevermind a statement that a fix is in progress). That's a statement of the official development going on. Other problems for me is the hurried HTC Scribe pen integration; some XDA members have created better programs (Quill and Papyrus, for instance), but again, the lack of care by HTC is apparent. The pen feature was rushed, and it shows. XDA members and development are keeping this device afloat, but that's the only reason.
It's a competitive market right now in the tablet market, and unless you have a real winner, then products will be quickly phased in and out. The HTC, as much as I hate to admit it, because as I said, I do make use of mine quite a bit...has been on its way out ever since December 2011 when the prices got slashed.
This is a hard choice for me. I like being able to hack up things, and test out roms. I was told to get this, but I will be getting a new Job soon. Paying much better, and that ASUS Prime is calling me. I just want a tablet for now, and the Kindle Fire seems the best choice. I can complile ICS, and use a 3.0 Linux kernel. :T Why's it so hard to do this. Being a ROM junkie sucks.

+1 to that. I bought the Flyer a few weeks after its release for $599 and don't regret a single penny spent. In the Flyer, you are paying $200 for a $599 high quality tablet. That's a bargain, no matter how you look at it. Buying a Fire, you are just getting a crappy cheapo $200 tablet for $200. The Fire has so many features missing, its not even funny (cameras, SD slot, GPS, microphone, Bluetooth, compass, gyro).
I'm trying to sell mine via Swappa for $230.

(though dont drop 50-80 on the HTC pen, Get the fujitsu pen $20-30 and does the same thing.)
I will end up putting the photoshop touch app on it, not the free express one.
the 7 in form factor is perfect for me. I had a xoom and liked it for a while but it gets really heavy and hard to hold in one hand.
so the flyer feels much better in one hand, assuming you dont have toddler hands.
the CPU is adequate for anything i could throw at it, and can OC as well.
gpu is pretty good so games wont be a problem. as for n64oid, It would all depend on the game that youre emulating. most devices can handle mario64 and zelda and mariocart. hit or miss really. but its been a while since ive used n64oid (since i picked up a used n64 from my local game store
camera is mediocre. My SGS2 has a better one so i wont use it to take pics or videos but will use the front one for video chat.
im not concerned about GPS issues either, my phone does it.
all in all, I want something that i can use easily when my phones dying and needs to charge, or dont feel like looking at my phones small screen anymore for long web browsing sessions and the 7in form factor and the scribe is def a deal breaker.
So, do you think the Flyer/View is outdated/slow/etc. or a fine, great tablet?
Or even, are you getting a new tablet to work alongside it?
And why?
Personally, I got the Flyer just at the end of August and enjoying using it since day 1. Liked the experience on Gingerbread, but now I realize how much better it is on Honeycomb (and soon it may get better thanks to ROM cookers and Jelly Bean), and I if someone would offer me to get any new tablet that is currently on the market - I certainly wouldn't rush to the nearest tech store, and I'm considering keeping the Flyer for a coming year/year and a half (maybe less, don't know yet). If I am to get a new tablet - it would probably be N7 or some of the medium-end/high-end Acer 10" tablets. Samsung is simply not my choice at all.
If there was any hope of getting ICS or Jellybean on the Flyer/View in the foreseeable future I'd stick with my View, but that doesn't seem too likely. I've got my eye on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
I'm kinda curious about the iPad mini that may be coming out in October. If its good and competitively priced for a 7", I might consider it just for the support and updates. I became fatigued with the anticipation, worry, and letdown that is HTC. I still can't play videos from AOL homepage and the HuffingtonPost website basically freezes my tablet- I had to learn what websites I can and can't use with my View HC. I just want my stuff to work, that's all I ask- especially when all I'm doing is surfing the internet. If apple really listened and shrunk the iPad to a more convenient size, I will reward them with my money. Now, if they would just team up with wacom for the perfect stylus. I initially overlooked apple because it couldn't play flash videos, but now that apparently flash is being phased out and apple products can play most internet videos and content, I'm willing to consider their products again.
The flyer serves my needs but my experience with it will keep me from buying from HTC again

Jumped on an Acer A500 on Redtag.com that works fairly well for sub-$200 (refurbed). It's not my daily tool though; the Flyer still rarely leaves my side. But for multi-media/light gaming needs, the A500 is doing nicely. But I won't take a 10" tablet on public transporation in the city; that's asking to become a statistic (IMO).
The 7" is still perfect for ebook reading, keeping up on emails and social networks, and not only is it 3G, I can tether it to my phone for 4G connectivity.
I think and option is missing from the poll; "Getting a new one to work alongside the Flyer."

The flyer really suits my needs, small Tab with pen. But Honeycomb is full of issues. And the other problem is, I can't afford to buy every year a US$500 tablet. And even now after HTC "broke" it, the resell prices are also bad for the Flyer.
Well I can't remember ever felt such a disappointment with a company so, I'm going to avoid HTC. Also the people next to me,

The coolest thing about this tablet is the full-sized USB port on the side that pushes enough juice to power a 2.5" SATA drive. It's an older processor, but ICS works nicely.
The bottom line is to get a new tablet you don't need to buy new to get decent performance, nor do you need to buy every year.

How about A510?
They didn't have any A510 at the time, though it's this year's model, so probably not a lot on the refurbed market yet.
I have not been been looking for a new tablet. However, if Google releases a 32gb nexus 7 for $250, i will probably go for it.
PS They might also also be releasing a 4G version at the end of October.

Well my brother has a nexus 7, i tried it and its awesome!!!
But i can do everything i need to do with my flyer. of course flyer can be better, hope for a new update from htc (yeah no ics, but didnt they say they still gonna give support? dunno how , just hoping) or a good custom rom ics/jb.
im not aware of the tablets these days, except for the nexus.
next tablet? dont know. gonna fly till it dies haha.
would be nice if in the future there will be a nexus with pen functions like flyer.

Yeah $329 was quite disappointing. No way I can justify it when the wifi only model is that expensive. I'll probably look into the nexus 7. Although, I started using an internet browser app that has given my View 4g hope. It's called Puffin and its pretty fast and plays all the flash I throw at it. Another plus for the View 4g is that I can use the Sprint Zone app and purchase the no contract/commitment data plan- hopefully that's just like prepaid. As for the nexus 7, I was disappointed that it doesn't natively support flash, have a microSD card slot, or have HDMI out. But it's still a great tablet, especially if they sell it for $99 for an 8gb model.
I just bought a galaxy note 2 to replace my galaxy nexus and it looks like it will replace my HTC flyer too. It does have a smaller screen but it is much more friendly and has a few more features that the flyer does not.
