[Q] Q Mango + Mozart Battery Life? - 7 Mozart General

Hi All
Been searching but cant seem to find anything.
Since forcing the update via zune i have found the battery life to be appalling. Doesnt even last a day without charging. Im using the same apps and same or less usage.
Befor the mango update (nodo) I was getting nearly two days before completly draining the battery...now i will be lucky to get 9 hours!
anyone else experience such issues...seriously thinking of going back to no do.

I have been beta user of Mango and recently updated to Mango.. and no I dont have that problem. Mine works same as earlier.

In my Mozart, mango drain battery much more then pre-NODO version even with sync set to manual, data connection off, wifi off, 3g off, location off, BT off and it drains more then 5% per 5hours during my sleep pre-nodo almost nothing.

well ive tried setting the sync to every 15mins as oppossed to as it arrives..so lets see if that helps...but it definately drains more than nodo on the same settings....i wonder if more is going on in the background than we can see...

I have the same issue- my first charge lasted 11 hours and i was sleeping for 7 of those hours...

well so far ive been going for 6hours and its on 70% so hopefully the sync timing may have resolved the issue somewhat...its saying 10hrs or so left...so thats a bit better than what has been doing since the update.

Charging my Mozart direct to a power point takes a shorter time to charge than charging through USB

As long as im not playing games all day my mozart seems to last all day if i charge it from about 12am till 7am when i get up for work.

can't say i've got this issue, i've updated to official Mango RTM and i find the battery is about the same. Wifi on all day, one push email account and about 1 hour worth of phone calls, some internet browsing, it's still over 50%

well i think the sync issue sorted it. after setting it to check every 15mins it held its charge all day. disconnected it at 8.30am and come 9pm it still said it had 50% battery left.
so all in all much better than the past few days where it would go into battery save mode by 5pm.

I made hard reset on Mango and after that I feel battery life is a little better.

Battery is steal strong !

for me the bigest battery consumer is data connection, when I turn it off battery live is a little bit better

based on my experience, my battery was definitely longer after the mango update. with nodo my battery cant last that long.

I just flashed to nhathoa's 5.01 ROM.
This is a problem I faced even before the ROM flash. Whenever I power down the device and connect it to the USB to charge, the device will wake up by itself. It seems there is no way to charge the battery while power is off

well ive been running the phone now for a few days using the new setting and all seems to be well...i can get away without charging my phone for 24hrs if need be so thats much better than the original 8hrs or so.

Maybe I mean...
GPS is allways on ...radio driver bug
SPL issue ?

is turning the battery saver always on bad for the phone? other than of course no push etc. i am just wondering if it will have an adverse effect on your battery if i always want to squeeze every drop of my battery.

I have tried many different ROMs and I am supposed to say, that it is different with every ROM... Finally I bought Mugen Power battery 1800 mAh. Standard battery wasn't able to last one day (12 hours). Now it is OK

Another thing... This ROM helped with battery... After flashing it, I have a longer battery life...

[Q] Mozart battery life

Hi!
How long does your Mozart work.
My settings: WiFi & BT are off / Exchange sync is permanent.
Around 30 mins calling time a day.
Battery is empty during the afternoon. It simply does not "survive the day" and has to be recharded. Is my device not ok, or do you have the same experience?

Are you on telstra network perhaps?
I read something on the internet about a bug in the Exchange service, it reestablishes the connection every minute, so thats why you battery is empty so fast. (probably)
HTC is working on the problem. but if you are on a Telstra network there is a workaround http://blog.walshie.me/2010/11/15/htc-mozart-telstrabattery-issues-solved/
Hope this helps
I was not too pleased about the battery myself, but it was never as bad as what you're reporting!
I've always had Wifi turned on and use Exchange email... and have been continuously using the media player or an app or game now and then... and it lasts me a full day... There was once or twice when i had been continuously at it that it had 20% left by evening...
I posted about it on the forums too and someone said it'll automatically adjust itself... i was a bit skeptical, but today it still has 60% battery left and it is 12:15 AM now...! (though i did have Wifi turned off for the most part today)
Hello everyone
I have the htc mozart one month offered by the girlfriend. I used the mobile phone several times and even with wifi and bluetooth on and always lasted one day (24h) without problems. yesterday charged at 24h and at 15h had no battery. had not even turned on wifi or bluetooth. since then the battery does not last anything I do not know what happened but its not and nomal. Somebody now something about? This its really a joke but I know that the battery lasts well over

were you in an area with poor cell reception? if yes, that would affect the battery because the phone is constantly working to maintain a signal. i'm using an 1800 mAh battery from Mugen and it's easily lasting 32+ hours with 1 Push Exchange account, BT/Wifi off, 2 POP accounts (1 hour retrieval times) and about 40-80 minutes of calls when i'm in an area with a strong signal. i spent two weeks at a client site where i could barely get 1 Bar (and most often had "No Service) and the same battery would be depleted in about 18 hours. when working in an area with great cell reception, battery life is great for my use. on 2 occasions i forgot to charge the phone overnight and had about 15% battery left when i woke the next morning. in case you're wondering, i'm using the HTC TestTool - Battery Tool (v1.20.0.0) to determine battery percentage. you can find in in the WP7 forums.
I'm using the phone as I have always used but something happened that makes the battery last while. without stirring overnight stays with half in morning
i leave in portugal and use optimus

That the point you living in area where the cell phone reception is really bad!! It's same for me when I go to my Island in carraibe !!But where I living Paris and London I can keep the battry 100% at 7h in the morning till late in evening around 2h at 20%; Using all day Wifi, TV, Game... So the issue about battery is not the phone but carrier issue.
Because when I take a "Metro" or "Tube" where the reception are really bad my battery drainning fast....
For me it last for a day, since i don use 3g n wifi, i use followin settings.
3g turned off
wifi turned off
Always try to close the running apps using the back key.
everynite i switch my phone to low brightness, so that i don need much time in charging my phone in the morning b4 i leave to work.
with every settings turned on the battery last for 15-17 hours.
hope they fix the battery issue in the comming update.
With heavy usage 9-10 hours battery life for me.3g,4 e-mail account.One is push,the others checking every 15 minutes(almost getting 150 e-mails every day).1 hour talk time,Web browsing over 3G,listening music 30-45 mins,playing games 15 mins.(Brighness medium,location service all on)
using dark back grounds will help save power, but everyone nows that dont they.
Except it won't help with Mozart. It only works for AMOLED displays, Mozart has an LCD.
it has at least awesome standby time...
the red light once began to flash when i went to sleep.
when i got up around 9-10h later the phone was still on.
only bluetooth was off...
even more standby power, im back to report:
3+ DAY STANDBY!
i charged my phone friday 02-11-2011
untill today (tuesday) it still lasted,
same-time as last-charge 02-15-2011
thats incredible 4 days...
WLAN was OFF the most time
3G on
only did around 4-7 2min calls
didnt play much with it,
only quickly checking for news in market from time to time
had 2 reboots because of that
and did around 5 pictures.
i think its pretty awesome times...
yeah with heavy usage its only 1 day
but still its a phone and its standby is great
There's no surprise that the phone lasts long when you don't do anything with it.
As far as I can see, the battery annihilating combination is browsing the web via 3G. Guess IE was optimized for speed to impress with responsiveness. This probably won't change much until IE9 comes (which may or may not help). The power-hungry screens are a universal problem on all current HTC devices, with WP7 and Android equally, so this won't change.
The real killer is WI-FI, i upgraded to the MUGUN 1800MiH Battery, and im not looking back, it lasts way more than 50% longer than the standard battery did.
for £28 with free delivery, you'd be silly not to buy it.
also, as an aside, the Battery arrived within 4 days from HONGKONG, which is great because it advertised that the battery would have a 10 - 15 day shipping time.
Okay... what if
had 50% power left the night before...
after 6 hours sleep
phone is out of battery @@
Now that aint right, im guessing something is running under locked screen and iono what!!! but i always jump out of any program when im about to sleep too, so it cant be because of that
In the past, i could have standby time for a long period especially after one night. But the past two days when i woke up, it always ran out of battery!!
the first two days when i got my mozart it died on me due to low battery. but when i upgraded it to nodo(i think), the battery is longer now. but i will check some more.
my battery usually lasts 24 hours. But when I open htc weather, starts to pick up GPS signal if I leave soon have a very abnormal wear of the battery.
I tried with other Porgram gps and the same happens, the battery does not last 10h

Another approach to fix battery drain

Hi,
I've got an idea to "fix" battery drain in WP7, as well as with Android.
I can't really assure you how much it's working as I do this each time I install WP7 since the first version of MAGLDR is out.
I started doing this because I had battery problems with magldr.
Here is the trick : In fact, when you install MAGLDR, Windows Phone 7 / Android, or even update WP7, the battery is not charging but draining (that kind of procedure eats a lot of power). But even if the installation ends with a 40% charge, the OS will be sure, at first start that it's almost 100% charged.
I think it's a reason why the battery goes empty faster than with Windows Mobile. It was default OS, with default configuration etc. so 100% was 100%.
So I think we must, at least once, charge the battery outside of the phone, with a dedicated charger. In that way, when WP7 will start, it will see the fully charged battery (100%, for real).
I think the OS will know, when the battery will be discharged, the real capacity from 100 to 0.
I hope it will help, and that I'm not wrong as I don't experience any real battery drain if I do this + camera trick since first version of WP7, and with any Android rom (except MIUI).
Hi
My solution is close to yours.
After each flash I let drop my battery until the phone died and you can't restart it under WP7
next I start to charge it under MARGL 5 min then i start WP7 and let it charge.
Now i'm sure that the phone have a good battery calibration.
My HD2, 2 years old, and with camera trick can stay 48 hours in 3G but only 24 hours in 2G??? WTF?
You're not completely right here, OS would not think that change at first boot is 100% charge, you can easily check that by booting first time on half empty battery and indicator will show about 50%.
But yes, battery stats might affect battery drain, so there is a button in MAGLDR something like "Clear battery stats", reboot to MAGLDR, charge to 100%, click that button, boot back to your OS.
intresting therys
What is we charged up to 100% and did a hard reset would that make the probum go away?

Oh ok. Weird, each time I flash WP7 or Android, it tells me that I've got something between a 100% and a 90% charge, which isn't possible, after having installed MAGLDR, then flashed the new OS and waited for the first boot (really long with Android).
Nonethless, I flashed WP 7.5 with radio 5.66, and I'm experiencing a huge battery drain, even with camera trick & external charge.
Even Miui seems to last longer. And Android tells me that I have a 62% battery charge, and I restarted the phone on WP and it tells me that I still have a 76% battery charge.
Why don't I have the same charge estimation ?

well I can't answer that question but I would bet android is not the 1 that is giving wrong charge estamations in on bttfv2 and I was on v1 and never experienced fast battery drain I personally like the wp7.5 over the other os's so I'm dealing with the fast battery drain issue & random reboots as well I also think the to problems are related some how the random Reboots it never happens when on on a charger! I really think someone should go back to bttfv1 to test and figure out what went wrong when new registry edits was implemented or the new rom was cooked but anyway I read DFT is also working on a new rom I'm not sure if it will be for hd2 tho.
I'm really hoping the problem can be sorted on my last phone I got about 300hrs out of 1 charge but charging touck a wile on my hd2 charging seams to be pretty quick which might not be a good thing not sure. But last night I had it on charge almost 10 hrs after it was already 100% and when I finly got it off the chager it seamed to last a little bit longer
But on rough estimate I'm thinking it last 5 hrs witch is just horrible

Unfortunately, it's a mistake. I've never seen any "clear battery stats" menu in MAGLDR. But I think it exists on ClockWork.
It's a shame...
Battery life 24hrs+
All,
After reading the above posts, I started practicing the following;
* Let battery drain more than 90% or until critical battery warning appear
* Charge in full
* Power of phone. As the phone power off, power off charger ( ... this action may be insignificant)
* Boot the phone to MAGLDR
* Select "Reset" option from the menu
* Phone reboots normally
I have been doing this for the last 2 weeks I guess plus more than 8 charge cycles and now my HTC HD2 lasts 24hrs+ at any rate.
... I am not a heavy user, but still, I have OutLook, GMail, FB, Twitter running 15mins sync interval. 10+ calls + 5/6 SMSs a day in average. My good'ol battery keeps me happy.
... hope this helps someone ...
I found that it was my choice in SD cards that was causing battery drain. The camera trick got me down to a battery draing of -200. I couldn't understand why I couldn't get down to -7. WP7 "seemed" to be performing fine.
Switched to PNY 16GB class 4 and I think WP7 has accepted it. Have had a few reboots, but nothing I can pin on the card yet. My battery life is amazing in comparison to before. W/ wifi and bluetooth turned off, I get a battery drain between -4 and -7. MUCH better than before.
I can't get Battery Tool to work to check the drainage on Mango, but I found out that having 3G enabled, Push enabled (set mail check on "upon arrival") is giving me the best battery life. I'm using Mango since yesterday morning 11 am until now (it's 9.42 here) and I have 31% battery left.
Average usage (but it's enough for me) with internet, mail sync, twitter, facebook and some pictures.
for the record, I did not use the 'camera' trick at all.
When I disable push, and have email check set to 'manual' i'm starting to have drains and I have to use the camera trick to keep it low...
I know everybody has different results.. but I just wanted to share this, see if others can relate to this
Its pretty strange this battery drain issue, i struggled with it for months with the last wp7 rom i used.
With this rom i struggled with sd card issues like everyone else, in the end i'd bricked 4 cards of differing sizes and the onlycard i had left was the tiny 2gb sandisk that came with my HD2.
Since settling on that card i've had no issues other than storage space and battery drain is a thing of the past which could suggest that card compatability is at the heart of the problem.
Its my guess that constant attempts at read/write failure may be going unreported by wp7.
Currently im seeing about 36hrs at my regular usage, i can stretch it to 48hrs if im careful.
My wifi is on throughout my working day, i make on average 6-7 calls and send and receive 10 or more txts along with a steady stream of people hub updates.
I'm happy in the belief that i don't have a battery issue, i just wish i had more space.
So much for my optimistic post earlier, one reboot messed up the battery read. 40% left and 2 hours of usage .... I give up
Sent from my HD2 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
... try this for a change

if you fully charge (100%)..your phone in wp7 , it will show erroneous battery drain,...you can rectify it by restarting the phone, then use the camera trick.
if you charge till 99%.it is ok, but 100%...you need to restart

I haven't had that experience. Sometimes WP7 won't allow a full charge to happen though.
Something weird just happened.I was having Bluetooth problems. It wouldnt turn on.I then Flashed the DEv wifi plus Eu fix cab.It fixed my bluetooth but with some added treats. My battery life has more than doubled.Used to go less than 8hrs of normal use but now i hv gone 17hrs and i have around 50 % left.I didnt do any camera trick.Has anybody experienced this?

New firmware: actually worsens battery performance

In my case, after updating to new firmware and software my battery full capacity indicator has become sort of crazy (for the worst).
Before updating I got a solid 1390 mAh always. Now It depends on the day, but It never surpases the 1270 mAh. Barrier.
Today I´m getting a poor 1170 mAh.
Strange thing.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

From my review, my battery seems to be getting better now, first week after the update, battery was dreadful, it seems to be a whole lot better now. Give it a week, if it continues, email Nokia support, since you hopefully have your warranty, they'll check and replace it if it's faulty, I'm suffering from some horrible notification bug, that's worse, getting your notification when you enter message/whatsapp...-_-
Have same problem. The last update have reduced full charge capacity from 1420 mA to 1303 mA and it's still decreasing every charge. Hope is's soft bug, otherwise nokia should exchange killed batteries phones.
Nokia says not to trust their diagnostics tool when it comes to degrading capacity. The battery should be fine anyway unless it reports less than 1000mAh.
Nokia's biggest mistake was making the Diagnostics available to every user. Now everybody thinks Nokia stole their precious mAh...
Note: It doesn't even matter the update gave us some hours in autonomy.
Yep. Without it most users would actually enjoy their phones.
So the Diagnostics tool gives a bad reading?
Today, when I plugged the charger off, the charge percent inmediately went down from 100% to 98%. Maybe there´s some kind of software bug thay doesn´t give the real battery performance.
P.S.: I actually enjoy my phone. Love it.

This happened to me also this morning. Took my phone off charge, unlocked it and then was at 98% but going to keep an eye on it throughout the day. I got roughly 15 hours use yesterday and 5 hours of that was when i was at work.
I am getting terrible battery life after the update. 100 % at last mid night. By the morning it is at 85%. It seems the battery life got worsen by a 40 % decrease before the update.
Should I restore my Lumia 800?
I get weird battery issue on my latest 800. About every second charge the battery drains very fast doing nothing. The next charge it is fine. Next after that it can drain. And so it goes. Something fishy with software indeed. It was preloaded with 11501 from factory so I have not updated myself.
Nokia need to take a detailed look at this. As it is now they fully think the issue is fixed when in face it is not. As the topic implies it actually made things worse compared to old firmware. Those 15% charge that were lost in old firmware it lasted longer anyway because it had no drain.

I have made a factory reset just for the heck of it. Also I have recently started rebooting my phone with the charger plugged after every charge and then unplug when it is booted again. So far no drain after doing so but too early to make any conclusions.
I reseted the phone on a charge cycle with drain and after the reset the drain stopped. So something weird is going on. Hadn't really installed apps etc... syncing/location etc off...

Unfortunately I do not even have the good days result. After I updated my Lumia to .11500 my battery drains really quick with doing nothing. Before going to sleep I had about 60%, waking up it was empty, in 6 hours! Before I could last about 1.5 days with my phone. Hardly 10 hours with normal use. 3G on but wifi and bt off.
Does anyone know how to change this or to change it back to the earlier version of software?
I love this phone and its OS, but the battery consumption is just wrong!
Thanks.

Same issue with battery drain. Not that frequent though. Two times in two weeks. It´s random I think. Thing is that I´ve noticed that it has occurred when the phone shows maximum than my average battery capacity.
Normally phone shows 1170 mAh when fully charged. Strangely enough I get a very decent battery life. More than 24 hours with normal to heavy use.
But today it showed 1370 mAh fully charged and it´s not passed 12 hour barrier.

Since I made that factory reset the drain has not come back so far. Now I get good battery life and it's usually at 70% when I go to sleep at nights with moderate use throughout the day.
Is this what everyone is doing for best battery or is it just me?
Used to get heavy drain when I get the mobile:
I had to do below:
1) Location services off - i use very low though.
2) Removing people tile
3) Display brightness - LOW
4) Settings->Applications->Games->Connect to Xbox LIVE-> OFF
(with ON, used to drain battery alot atleast for me)
5) Settings->Background tasks->Weather->Off
(not sure of this, but I don't use it so I switched off)
6) Removing XBox Live Tile (In fact all live tiles like App Highlights etc...)
7) Date+time -> Set automatically -> OFFFF (I don't think we need it unless we go to other country)
8) Phone Update -> Turn off notifications
By the way,
I use push email outlook on always

Just restore your backup in Zune. Connect the phone, go to the phone tab. Settings -> updates -> restore. Good luck!

Used to get heavy drain when I get the mobile:
I had to do below:
1) Location services off - i use very low though.
2) Removing people tile
3) Display brightness - LOW
4) Settings->Applications->Games->Connect to Xbox LIVE-> OFF
(with ON, used to drain battery alot atleast for me)
5) Settings->Background tasks->Weather->Off
(not sure of this, but I don't use it so I switched off)
6) Removing XBox Live Tile (In fact all live tiles like App Highlights etc...)
7) Date+time -> Set automatically -> OFFFF (I don't think we need it unless we go to other country)
8) Phone Update -> Turn off notifications
By the way,
I use push email outlook on always

What to do. Now a days all smart phones come with great features and poor battery life.
By the way, anybody knows how to turn off fast dormancy in our lumia 800? I used to get much better battery life by turning off fast dormancy in android phones ( obviously my network is not supporting the feature though)

So you're limiting the phones key features for a battery problem? Why not contact Nokia? I must be honest, if Nokia were to tell me to switch off so many features of my phone, I would tell them to kindly p*** off, as I've had many phones before it that didn't pose a problem like this, if it's a fault, they should act to it, not make you rectify their mistakes. At the end of the day, if you broke your phone accidently, would they fix it for you? So why should you?

[Q] Ray battery recently shortened and it has also started time travelling

I've got a bit of a problem with my Xperia Ray and despite hours of googling I still can't find a solution so I thought I'd see if you guys could help
Had it for about 6 months now and it worked great up until a couple of weeks ago when suddenly the battery life got way shorter, like I used to be able to get close to 3 days if I didn't do anything but sending messages and using some basic apps and even with pretty heavy use it still lasted well over a day.
Recently though it lasts under 20 hours with absolutely no usage, when I leave the phone overnight it loses about 40% charge when previously the use was under 10 for the same time period and even if its turned off it loses charge at a similar rate.
The other problem that started around the same time was that whenever the phone turns off from lack of charge or I take out the battery the date resets to 6 January 1980 and the phone seems unable to automatically correct it. Previously my phone was able to retain the date even after the battery had run down completly.
The only thing I can think of that changed before the problems started was that I used a solar powered usb charger for a few days because I was tramping but I have no idea what that could have gone wrong or how I could fix it.
I've tried a full factory reset, upgraded the android software to 4.0.4 and used various battery apps to try to find anything that might be using all my battery with no success.
Its driving me crazy so any help would be great.
Also here's a picture of a recent day of usage (not enough posts to embed it properly sorry), except for a short run I didn't use the phone for anything

Could be a lot of things. If the solar powered charger made your phone really hot while charging then the battery might be permanently damaged and you should try a different battery. It could also be that your power meter has gone wonky and this can be reset by charging the phone to 100% and then removing the battery and the usb cable from the phone for 10 minutes. Return the battery to the phone and charge it back up to 100%. Usually, when I experience something like this, it is some app that is draining the battery. Since you have just been trekking, maybe it is google maps. If it is tracking/updating you location, it will drain your battery really fast. You should be able to see this, just by going to system settings->battery. Stand by or Display are usually the big battery hogs.

you should really try another battery
justmpm you're always there to help i see
Thanks for the replys everyone!
I don't know anyone with a ray battery but I can buy a new one relatively cheap so I'll do that and see how it goes
I'll post results in a few days
Well I got a new battery yesterday as suggested and tried it out from full charge but unfortunately there was no change in the battery life, it still ran all the way down in less than 20 hours with minimal use
Begining to wonder if its a hardware fault within the phone itself

Extreme Battery Drain after OneUI 2.1 / September Security update

Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted but this is quite a serious issue and could some guidance. A few weeks ago, I finally updated my Galaxy S9+ to Android 10 after being on 8.0 for so long and it's been a decent update so far. I had gripes with SoT not being the greatest but it was tolerable. Last night, I received an update for my phone and I installed it. Didn't think too much of it and continued on. I charged from my phone to ~87% today, used it lightly while working. By the end of my shift, I had 50% left.
I left the house to go for a 81 minute walk with 47%. I usually don't worry about having enough juice to make it back home but I experienced the worst battery drain I've had with this device so far. During my 90 min walk I:
listened to Spotify using my Galaxy Buds (one ended up dying towards the end because I forgot to charge them)
Checked Instagram occasionally and responded to some texts
Took 2 pics in Snapchat
Had a short video call on Messenger
It was right after the video call I noticed my battery was at 17%, which I thought was very strange. I don't leave apps running in the background for long and I have a habit of closing them out when not actively using them and I noticed the battery kept on draining despite there being no apps open besides Spotify.
Turned on the medium power saving and within a few minutes, I was at 5%. Decided to kill everything and pit my device on max power saving mode for the first time since I've owned the device. By the time I was home, my phone was at 1%.
I'm really baffled at how the battery drained at an exponential rate. I'm a medium user and I've had this phone since late 2018. Never leave location services on, never used AOD, and used the FHD display instead of QHD along with dark mode.
I'm hoping today was just an outlier as I want to keep this phone for another 2 years, but if this happens on a consistent basis I'm gonna have to start searching for a new device.
In the meantime, I have charged my phone to a 100% and disconnected the phone and observed the following:
Within 2 minutes of disconnecting, battery went from 100 - 98%. Not a good sign considering it was just idling
The battery continue to drain every other minute and I could see the battery go down on each unlock
Wiped the cache partition and I went from 93 to 94% for a brief moment prior to the phone going back to the same pattern
This is very worrisome to me as I don't believe the phone will last until midnight, I'm wondering if it's possible to roll back to the previous update.
TL;DR - After the update yesterday, the battery drained at an exponential rate despite light to medium usage
Also, here's some screenshots of my battery usage

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but all I can do is suggest changing the battery and doing a full, stock firmware flash via Odin to completely wipe your phone.
I recently replaced my phone's battery and did flash the firmware and my battery is really hanging in there. My battery was also 2 years old and before, I would get about 3h SOT when I play a game (and I do a lot). Now, I'm getting 5h SOT no problem with about 2-3h gaming included, so I really do suggest a battery change. I'm thinking you could be able to squeeze another 1 or 2 years into this amazing phone.
