After reading through the topic, I'm still a bit unclear as to the camera firmware issues relating to the latest 4.1.2 updates. Does this newer firmware upgrade the camera itself (even when flashed via Mobile Odin) or is there a separate process?
I had thought that the earlier leaked firmware was the one that didn't properly upgrade the camera, but I'm still unclear.
Can anyone provide some clarification?

I have a Norwegian Tab E 9.6 (SM-T560) with Kitkat 4.4.4.
The US/Canadian version SM-T560NU has got official upgrade to Nougat 7.1.1.
I have downloaded the XAC Canada version and I am trying to install it using Odin, without success.
I load the firmware file using the PDA file tab, but the installation will not go through. Connection ok, but odin stops either and NAND Write or earlier.
From what I understand it should be perfectly possible to install an official stock firmware from another region (I did so once on my asian Samsung S7 Edge), but not working here.
What could be the reason for this not working? Do I need to change CSC or something? If so how without rooting and without using the dialer code trick (as there is no dialer on a WIFI only unit).
Or some special settings in Odin? I only have the default settings marked.
I have tried many versions of Odin, from the latest to the earliest.
Please help or point me in the right direction.

Hi all,
I wanted to flash a newer android 13 stock firmware because my Sony from a UK operator doesn't get the OTA update.
I have the firmware from XperiFirm and made the ftf with flashtool. Just before I was about to get if flashed I was reading comment saying this tool is not good anymore, but I am not 100% sure how to use the Newflasher instead.
Could someone help me on that?
I don't really want to brick my phone and if it's not a safe way to get android 13 I might just don't do it.
