Chinese version comes with no google apps (aka no market, sync, etc) and wont run normal i9100 firmware.
The version sold in the UK should be the international i9100 (aka the one most mods in this forum will run on).
^^What he said. So if you're wondering which one of the two to go for, I think the choice is clear, ie. the UK variant (International GT-I9100).
So the Chinese version won't work here in united states.

How about 3g or H+ and connection for outgoing and incoming calls?

Unlikely as they don't use the same mobile phone tech in china, they have there own stuff, which is incompatible with the 3G/3.5G(H+) used in the USA/Europe
So no 3g or h+ .

Any updates? I'm near the center of Munich and terrible indoor reception. Maybe I should switch to a prepaid Voda provider...

Guys,
I'm not spamming. I've read this article few days back. I read this article again. Some given some positive feedback.
The question is whether it helps the battery drain for international phones..
This is the article

Judging by your Bio you're from Australia, in your region you are best to stick to the i9300T radios because of the frequencies in your country.
In saying that, the LH1 radio might work just fine, generally the idea with modems is what's good for me might be crap for you and vice-versa.
Basically YMMV.

UK and I lose 70% of signal .
So modem is not for all phones.
You can try the modem yourself.

What would be considered a good modem for in the US?
That's one thing I haven't came across yet in the S3 i9300 threads, a threads featuring different modems? I came from the epic4g, being able to just throw one in with Odin.

Are you using the exact same APN with the Canadian ICS ROM as you do the custom ROMs?
I am with Rogers and currently have a jb custom rom and find my lte to be the same, if not better with the UCLF6 modem.

In theory you can flash any stock ROM for your model in Odin the only thing that varies is the modem and any carrier additions. Pick one from a county near your area if you are unsure.

Thanks for your reply, no country is close to my area except United Arab Emirates, but im not sure the if the modem will be good, is there a way to verify? Cause when i bought the phone it was from a private store and not a deal from operator, so im not sure.

You shouldn't suffer at all by picking any ROM tbh. Worst case if the modem is not as good you can just repeat process nothing major will happen at all you should be fine with any new rom
