Hey all,
Just a simple question, how likely is it to get some kind d of image burn in using something like dock clock? I have an old optimus v that I am turning into a fulltime clock and weather device and am wondering if this could leave an impression of the clock. Also if anyone knows of an all that is like dock clock but also has news, that would be great.
On my old (now dead) S3 I used to run this widget https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sanels.tempcpuv2&hl=en
however, since the S5 runs on 4.4.+ this widget doesn't work anymore.
Does anyone know of any good replacement widgets? Preferably one that is also a 1x1 widget.
I haven't seen any other apps that display all three datums in a 1x1 icon. But an extended search may locate such an app. Ten quality minutes with Google should answer that. For that matter, you may wish to contact the author of your old app and see if he will update it to work with your current phone?
Alternatives? Elixir widgets is very good. Certainly a 1x1 widget for any one parameter. I'm just not aware of the app being able to put three items into a 1x1 widget. Personally, I like to have these items in the status bar. And to that end have two icons display these three items. An xposed module to display the CPU temperature. And the Cool tool app to display processor load /RAM as a second icon.

Having it on the status bar is perfect! Great suggestion, thanks!
I am posting this here, as this is not a question about the accessory but more a question about software widgets.
First off, I love this style cover. It looks and feels nice, plus it adds another level of functionality to the phone. I do have two questions if anyone has the experience with it.
1. How do you add more widgets than what is offered to you? There is no weather widget option and no SMS widget option. The Xperia Style Cover widget will show you that you have SMS messages but there is no way to scroll to see them. You can add an email widget and scroll through email, just not sms.
2. My Xperia Style Cover Widget shows I have "received message" but there are no messages on my device. Anyone else experience this?
No one else has the style cover?
Where do you buy it? I'd get one

I got mine new on EBay for $40.
I've a also just bought this case. My lock screen with the case on says I have 2 unread messages but I don't. Plus you can't get them to open from the cover screen
That is my problem too. Looking at the box it should even show a preview line of text. I can't figure it out.
You have to install a style cover theme, as well as activate NFC iirc to "install" the cover. Then you can add widgets by scrolling (left) to an empty slot with the cover closed.

Yep, done all of that still doesn't work.
I read somewhere else that it only works when you have hangouts as your default sms app, so u did that then added the widget to the home screen of the cover for an error that comes up saying widget no longer available
Same here. I have the cover correctly installed, but the SMS feature does not work nor is there a widget for it to work. I have the calendar, email, and weather (Accuweather) widgets all up and running fine.
I search every couple of months in case someone has developed a good widget for it.
No joy
Weather widget.
I just bought one, and i cannot figure out a way to put the weather widget, any help please ?
I am running android 6.0 By The Way .
Check Chronus. Or Chronus with DashClock extensions. It offers much more than weather.
Hello there. Does anybody care to develop a current day widget for Pace/Stratos2? I have some problems reading the tiny font on the Stratos (I have to stick with those watch faces with bigger fonts currently), a widget with a big bold font would be really useful, something like this:
Monday
7 September
2020
If the widget could be recalled with a hidden botton (just like that used in Amazmod for the notifications) would be even better!
Hi all,
after One UI 3.0 update i can't set the transparency of Samsung's widget, for example Samsung Notes. It will be white or black with night mode on. Is there a way to set it transparent, like in One UI 2.5?
Thanks
Exept, you can. Hold on a widget and select settings. Also, this is not the right place for this question.
