[Q] LCD burn in (dock clock) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
Just a simple question, how likely is it to get some kind d of image burn in using something like dock clock? I have an old optimus v that I am turning into a fulltime clock and weather device and am wondering if this could leave an impression of the clock. Also if anyone knows of an all that is like dock clock but also has news, that would be great.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Clock & Dock

Hello~
I bought the Tab 10.1 and the dock yesterday, I bought the dock thinking if I put the tablet on it I could go into the clock function and have it turned into a desktop alarm clock, but I don't seem to see a clock function, only see an alarm clock, but what I'm wanting is similar to what Android 2.2 offers, but I can't see it in Honeycomb.....
I'm not sure how to explain and sorry to make not much sense.... I bought the tablet in Hong Kong, I checked online and it seems when others put the tablet onto the dock, they can see the clock in large digits (like a screen saver) but mine doesn't do that.....Are these people using a third party clock (alarm clock) or am I missing something in the settings?
Cheers

[Q] Good polar clock widget

Hi
Does anybody have a clock widget the functions like polar clock (such as the one here)?
I know there's the live wallpaper, but this isn't really the best solution.
Thanks

[Q] Basic question re: icon/widget

Hi all
I recently got the Razr Maxx (GSM) and have updated it to ICS so long.
I noticed it has an icon on one of the homescreens for "Camcorder". I don't want to delete this icon, because I cannot find it anywhere (app drawer/widgets). How would I get this shortcut if I remove it? I know you can reach it via "Camera", but just wondering.
Also, there was a weather widget on the screen. I can find the widget in this widgets tab, but only for a larger weather widget which displays the city (but it is part of same app). The one already on the screen displays only the temperature and a weather icon (so it is smaller). This smaller widget is nowhere to be found, again I don't want to remove it until I know it can be replaced. Oh and it is not a resizable widget - so it's not just the larger one resized.
I know these are petty questions, but just wondering.
Any ideas?

try restarting the phone and see if it pops up, this is a known bug with the razr running ICS that I hope it will be fixed in JB
Thanks for the prompt reply! I did restart my phone earlier but still nothing. Scared to remove them.. Are other icons/widgets affected?

[Q] Change Glass Widget Weather Update Interval

Hey there
I'm using the Glass Widget Clock / Weather
I really like the way it looks but I have a pretty big problem.
In the settings I'm only able to change the update interval between Never, Once or Twice a day.
But Twice a day isn't enough in my opinion. Is it possible to change the interval?
I know that you can change the widget skin but I don't know how to change the way the widget operates.

[Q] Semi transparent lockscreen backgound when switchiing on phone

Hi!
After 2 years I am finally back from iOS to Android 4.4.2 on my new Nexus 5.
I flashed the newest version Paranoid Android and now I am seeking for a lockscreen layout that can replace the iOS lockscreen notifications I got really used to.
Dashclock combined with Dash Notifier seems like a good alternative but I now have some strange lockscreen behaviour of which I don't know if it's normal or because of some settings I missed.
Every time I expand / shrink for security code input I see a semi transparent white rectangle (as seen in the pictures attached).
Is this normal? If not is there any setting I missed, if yes, is there any possibility to avoid this? I don't use any lockscreen replacement at the moment...
Thanks!

i stumbled upon dashclock widget and it's extensions last night and tried it out and pretty impressed by it .the problem you pointed out seems the feature of it that a semi white box shows up on lockscreen actually it's part of expanding or shrinking the dashclock. Actually i had a question for you if you could take a look at this link and tell me how to set up dashclock notifier right next to the clock widget as seen in that pic? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51150628&postcount=1237
