FlyHigh - Hung on HTC boot screen - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

View - 4G
S-OFF - Success
Followed instructions, flashed FlyHigh 1.2. Rebooted, vibrated, and hung on HTC boot screen.
I also tried to wipe and flash FlyHigh 1.1 with the same result.
Any ideas?

The problem is that you flashed a Flyer Rom on a View

How are you turning the device off when it freezes? See my thread:

[Q] Can't get past htc screen once flashed shooter beats on GSM evo 3d

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and fairly new to rooting also.
I recently rooted my gsm HTC evo 3d using the htc unlock method
I have S-OFF and HBOOT-1.49.1107 (was 1.49.0018 I think)
and have revolutionary 4.0.1.4 installed.
The first thing I tried to flash was beats from this site:
androidadvicesDOTcom/install-beats-audio-package-android-device/
after rebooting, it turns out the only thing this did was remove sound from my device (music, in-call, everything) and no sign of beats.
Afterwards I tried to flash shooter beats 2.3, first using cmd with the flashboot command. It just got stuck endlessly rebooting itself on the green htc logo screen.
So I tried putting the shooter beats zip on my sd card, then going into revolutionary and flashing that way, once rebooted I am still stuck with the same problem.
If I were to do a factory reset on my phone, would it boot up with the stock rom and would I still have root? Or is there an easier option?
Thanks

One thing you should know.
Always do a nadroid before flashing anything. You will now have to look for a stock ROM do a full wipe and flash it

Ok, thanks, but not really what I was looking for.
The problem is that it wouldn't reboot after flashing roms (I tried several), so trying to install a stock rom would just do the same.
I didn't back-up as I didn't see any point to back-up when there's nothing on the device, and as you pointed out, there are stock roms available.
I reinstalled a newer version of CWM, wiped all date/caches/etc, before flashing a new rom and voila. So I guess the problem was in my install or version of cwm.
the first mistake you made was downloading from a site other then xda stick with xda when it come's to flashing that way you know what your getting lets start here the rom that you have flashed i hope you still have the zip file because you will need to wipe everything and use a super wipe tool and then reflash your rom that will get you going again
I got everything except the beats from xda, so I don't think that's an issue. Anyway, as I said, works.

HTC evo 3d will not install stock ruu

So here is how it all happen...i had this on metro pcs but upgraded to Epic 4G touch on metro also and now when i tried to get into recovery but will only reboot back to android os over and over when i tried to get into recovery so what i did was pretty stupid. I installed or initiated twrp recovery through hoot and i did a full wipe(when i meant full wipe i meant every option in there that i could wipe) and after that i tried rebooting the phone back but now its stuck in the HTC logo and will not go any where so i tried to install a stock ruu with unlocked 1.50 hboot but cant pass the second process of updating the ruu file, it just says checking pg86img.zip with the gold status bar all the way up then just kicks me back to the hboot option menu so im confuse and don't now what else to do. I tried 3 different shooter stock ruu but none else works or i should just sell the damn phone for really cheap(like 40-50 bucks)and let somebody deal with it.
Edit: i just relocked the hboot and now its says relocked and another word under that saying security warning but still it would not install the ruu's
Edit 2: ok got it to install the stock Rom by using the .exe instead of the zip.

One of the reasons why you couldn't get into recovery is because you forgot to turn off fastboot

[Q] [q] htc evo 4g lte rom booting issues

Hello I've been trying to flash a new rom onto my HTC evo 4g lte. I'm currently running sense (android version 4.1.1) my (hboot is - 2.09.0000) and im rooted. My boot loader is unlocked using HTCdev. I'm S-On. My recovery is twrp v2.5.0.0 and I have tried to flash cm10 once I finished and restarted the phone it would only show the boot image and I waited for about 10 minutes hoping it would work which it didn't then I read on other forums that I need to flash a kernel called htc dumlock and restore-original-boot-v2 I did that and followed the instructions and afterwards I tried flashing the rom again and it did the same boot loop. I luckily have a back up of my original rom however I would still like to flash a new rom can anyone help me please?
Check out the link in my sig for some useful info. Hopefully it answers all your questions.

[Q] White HTC screen after tring to flash roms

I have an unlocked and s-off htc one m7. I have been trying to flash a few roms and it always goes to the white htc logo screen. One I tried is the android revolution and says installed successful but stuck at screen always. Am I missing a step? I wiped cache and delvik and did full wipe. Thanks for any help
How long are you waiting for the phone to start up? Because sometimes it can take a while.

[Q] EVO View 4G won't enter recovery. Stumped

I have an EVO 4G tablet. Unlocked via the HTC website, downgraded to GB via the 10.3 multi-tool, and S-OFF'ed via Revolutionary. Revolutionary could not download CWM. The tablet boots fine, and functions. When attempting to enter recovery, the tablet hangs at the white HTC screen indefinitely. In the hboot screen, it flashes that it cannot find "PG41IMG.zip" and "PG41DIAG.zip". I would like to know where I went wrong, and how to fix it.
I am also having the same issue. I did the manual downgrade from 1.14 to 1.13 everything worked great then ran Revolutionary. Revolutionary could not download CWM but S-OFF was done. Did a manual flash of CWM version cwm-4.0.1.4-express, cwm-4.0.1.4-express-HC, and recovery-clockwork-5.8.1.5-express ... Each time I tried the recovery the HTC EVO View hangs at the HTC screen. I have a PG41IMG.zip file but I cannot get 10.3 multi-tool to unrar have header issue.... Thank you in advance for reading this post
