Whenever I try to play Tap Tap Revenge 4, I get a "track read error" on any song I play.
This is despite the fact that the android market says that it is compatible.
Is there a way to resolve this?

1. Launch the Android Market
2. Update Google Music
3. When the update has been installed, go to your home screen
4. Pull down the notification shade and tap the Settings icon
5. Tap Apps
6. Go to Market under the “All” tab
7. Press “Clear Data”
8. Open Play Music (that’s what the new Google Music is called)
9. Tap the Market icon in the bottom tray
10. Confirm the upgrade
Too much work just go to applications and uninstall update, open market and it will auto update to Play.

Already updated so I didn't even check it out. Good tip though.
I am running SlimKat. I had to reset my phone to factory defaults, and now I cannot reinstall Nova Launcher Prime, which I paid for and installed before I restarted the phone.
When I open Nova Settings, and tap "Nova Launcher Prime", then the "Play Store" button, there is no option to buy or install, only an "X" where those buttons would be. When I tap that, the "Install" button appears, but once I tap that and the "continue" button on the blank app permissions popup, nothing happens - I just see the "X" button again. Yet Nova Launcher prime is still not installed.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

You aren't doing anything wrong. I believe that Slim comes with the free version of Nova Launcher installed to /system/app. The Play Store won't update because that version isn't linked to your account and won't install because you already have it. Just use the built-in system app remover in the Slim Settings or whatever it's called and reboot. Then you should not have any issues re-installing the Prime version. Just make sure that you have another app launcher installed because once you remove it and reboot, the phone won't know what to do without a launcher and will be difficult to probably impossible to get around and open anything. You can then remove that once you have Nova installed again and set as Default.
Hi guys,
i need to disable double tap to wake up my H850.
How can i do this?
Thanks
There may be an easier way, but I carried over the same technique that I used on my G4...
Get QuickShortcutMaker from the Play Store. In the app, do a search on "knock."
This will yield a result for "settings." Tap that, and it will expand to reveal two "KnockOn" settings.
Tap either one of those, and it will open an "Edit Shortcut" screen. Tap the "Try" option, and this will open the KnockOn settings. In there, you can turn off the feature.
Doesn't matter which of the settings you choose, both will ultimately take you to a screen where you can turn it off.
Best of all, you don't need root (thank goodness).
So I'm getting inconsistent results from google assistant when the screen is off and locked (I use the dot pattern for locking). From what I can tell I have to reboot the phone and google assistant will unlock and answer my questions without any issue. THEN after a few hours or so, maybe half a day, when I say "Ok google", the device will perk up and register my request, but won't automatically unlock. so I have to draw the pattern for it to respond to my question.
What's the deal with this? Why does it sometimes work, but other times it doesn't? Has anyone else had this problem? It seems so random. I can't figure it out.
Thanks for any help.
David.
EDIT: Just figured it out myself. When I lock with the double tap it won't unlock with "ok google". The reason, so far as I can tell is that Nova Launcher is responsible for the double tap screen lock/unlock feature, and so Google assistant won't unlock through it. When I disable double tap through Nova Launcher but enable it through system settings I can only double tap to unlock, and the double tap for locking doesn't work at all.
I can't find a solution where double tap works to turn the screen both on and off, AND assistant always works. But at least I'm one step closer to the solving the issue.
You can double tap on the notification bar and then disable the Nova double tap lock. Not what you want exactly but since Nova can't do what you need, it may be the only way to have your Nova and Assistant.
Honestly though, I have Nova but have been pretty OK with the way the LG launcher can be configured.

I use Nova with a pin on my lock screen. Google Assistant works as advertised every time... That said I very recently did a factory reset. Do you have AOD enabled?

Ok, this is kind of a BS workaround, but here's your solution:
Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Voice Recognition
Set an unlock phrase different from "OK Google." (I used "hello phone," but whatever...)
Now if you "OK Google" your phone and your knock code / PIN / pattern unlock screen comes up, you can use "hello phone" as an alternate, and it'll bypass the lock screen.

Double tap the notification bar? When I do that it just shuts off the screen. Is there some other way of getting to this setting? I mean, I can go into Nova settings and assign 'none' to double tap, but then I still can't double tap to turn the screen off. Apparently Nova interferes in some way. It won't cede control double tapping to the system settings even when there's no action assigned to it.
I cant use the app cause it asks me to update and if i dont it exits . I dont want to update . how to bypass the update pop up ?
I tried to clone the apk with newer version but the app freeze and doesnt start
Simply stop app's automatic update:
Step 1:
Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
Tap the Search Box at the top of the Play Store.
Enter the name of the app you are looking for and tap Search.
Step 2:
Tap on the app to open the listing.
Tap the three-dot overflow menu in the top right-hand corner.
Uncheck Enable auto update.
Once completed, that app will no longer automatically update, regardless of what your overall settings have been changed to.

Thanks for the reply .
The app is installed on my peloton bike , there is no google play store allowed
The app gives a message “update before using” and shuts down . There is not many options to try . I was thinking ti change the metadata so the app thinks it’s on a higher version so it passes the check
