2.1 is really great and phone is much better...anyway here are few questions
1.) how to lock the screen.. prev when i press the power button , the screen will go dark and it will lock the screen , how to do on 2.1 ?
2.) i am on 2.0.A.0.504 (Binary version of global firmware ) .. is this the latest i mean i read on a blog that "the latest certified build is 2.0.B.0.127" so is mine a beta firmware or the main release itself ?
3.)i am going to root next .. can any one explain me how to ? i mean how to use that adb ? and also what is the procedure to remove moxifier ?
4.) I am using launcher pro , is there a way to change the background of the menu( the icon back ground after pressing the main key ) its now black .. can i change to some wallpaper or any patterns ?
5.)currently the image in contact are pixeled , is that a bug ? or should i have to remove and put in a high res pics ?
thnks in advacne .. i will post question as i stumble on more ...

Yep, don't have it installed right now but look in the settings.

Not sure, try hi-res images and see if it makes a difference.

I have a few queries, please some one clarify
1) In the lock screen there are few lines like "This phone belongs to", An alaram icon and "protested by antivirus". Can we able to change these?
2) While charging there is a battery icon in lock screen that shows battery level but after charging its not showing. Is there any way to show these.
3) Is there anyway to edit Status switch widget. I need only few from that.
4) I am actually using only 4 home screens, is there anyway to edit and remove the last one like in ADW launcher.
5) User guide is not working "Cannot find user guide on memory card ....." But I did not delete it and user guide is still showing in Ti backup. How to fix that.

Is your X10 first hand? Did you install any antivirus app from the market?.. and there's another app which can add that line to the home screen, forgot the name.
i deleleted few apps and landed being not able to boot into the phone... luckily my phone was recognised thru SEUS , so did a repair / reinstall of the firmware.. now everything is fine including the power button press....
the root was also fine ...

Guess, I can help you with that.
1. Go to your main menu and open AntiVirus App.
2. Click menu key on your phone (the physical key left to home key) and click on 'Settings'.
3. Go to 'Remote Management' and click 'Lost Message'.
4. You can edit the 'Text before' and 'Text after' in there and look at the preview how will it look on lock screen.

Maybe if look in framework res folder and find the background image, you can replace it with your own (remember to keep the same file name and resolution). Sounds kinda difficult though.

My request is all about the android keyboard's missing feature that enables you to switch Smiley key into "Next key" or Enter key.
I look all over the forums and I found a modded ICS android keyboard, BUT its intended for NEXUS. I also want to ask if its possible for my ace to use this modded keyboard. Thanks!

Try digging the APK from the CyanogenMod ROMs.. It has Android AOSP Gingerbread Keyboard

Would you mind if i ask 1 more thing? How can u make it as a SYSTEM App?? I also can't seem to find the keyboard app in my lewa rom, because I have read in some posts that you can overwrite the system app with your desired app then just change the Permission.

Use root explorer to paste the apk file in /system/app folder.. Then long press the apk, go to permissions, change it to rw-r--r-- and then reboot

V4.1ROM Features:
1) deletion of LG custom APK program, without making too much landscaping, but also you a clean system.

STEP 1> DOWNLOAD THE GIVEN LINKS AND EXTRACT TO GET "E160L_KLJMC1-V4.1.TAR" FILE
STEP 2> BACKUP YOUR PHONE (CONTACTS MESSAGES ETC YOU MAY LOST THEM) AND HARD RESET YOUR PHONE SO THAT PHONE GETS EMPTY

What I meant was confirming the post above comments. I know that they are a lot of awesome roms in here for the I717 but any of them have multiwindow. What I was asking was if there was a way to contact that developer so he can maybe help us out activate for the I717. Sorry if my comment was misinterpreted. Dont want to cause any trouble around here.

Am on 4.0.4 and I have e160L but I get fail in Odin when I try to flash the. Tar file.
Is there any way to show N700 in setting/about?
also what about usage of Edge on this phone?
