HELP !! STUCK on system recovery 2A - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

so im new here in the forums just trying to learn everything and i flashed this file : Voodoo-lagfix-3.0-SGH-T959-update and now im stuck in the system recovery mode .. i have tried oneclick unbrick and it didnt work .. please help !

were you able to access
custom recovery before? Can you re install packages to get to cwm? have you set up Odin on your PC.
Try the "Eugene froyo that does not brick" to clear all and revert back to jfd. Then flash a ROM with voodoo built in.

You need to flash eugenes no brick file first then flash the stock rom tar and pit file.

You need to give more info so someone can begin to try and trouble shoot for you . What rom are you currently on ? Are you Rooted ? Do you have CWM ? What recovery version do you have ?

[Q] Can't access CWM

Ok, i rooted last night with SuperOneClick (psneuter) and I installed ROM Manager and flashed the Vibrant Recovery.. But now I can't access CWM, i just go into stock recovery. any ideas as to why?
Try reflashing it with rom manager, then when you to reboot into recovery you will likely have to select reinstall packages at least once when you boot into your regular recovery. Until you flash a custom rom this is likely the route that you will have to take each time you boot into CWM
Odin back to stock 2.1, then root with eclair guide. Install the update package twice and the blue recovery should turn green.

Hmm odd what stock rom are you using? Ie ka5? Jk2? Etc. If you are running any stock froyo rom then as movieaddict said you will want to Odin back to 2.1 jfd which has 2e recovery instead of 3e, now I know there is a way to modify 3e recovery to make it work like 2e but iI'm not familiar with the process, search the vibrant development section and you should be able to find the mod there

if he rooted using superone click, it's good guess he's running 2.2. Also, if he can't get into CWM (except he hasn't stated it gives him a signature verification error yet), then he's also probably running a 2.2 build.
The easiest way is to use odin/heimdall.
there are 2 options in this path; odin back to 2.1 (jfd) then flash whatever rom you want from there, or odin a 2.2 voodoo kernel (which has cwm built in) and then flash whatever rom you want.

[q] help !!!!!! Please

Ok, so idk if im screwed here but i had installed crappy cm7 which ended up with fc all the time so i decided to try to odin back to stock but when i did i odined to ji6 instead of jfd which is the one i walways do , when it rebooted it just took me to stock recovery and i already had the cwmod recovery update.zip so i just flashed it and thought i would flash cm7 again. Point is I cant get into download mode or back to stock recovery and my phone doesnt boot. All i can do is go to cwmod recovery and thats it. I would like to try to adb to download mode but i have no idea how to work adb or cmd . PLEASE HELP?

[Q] How do i intall a new recovery when i have already intall the rom manager one?

First of all im a noob so please bear with me, i have just bought my I9300 and i wanted it rooted like everyone else, i followed the steps, everything was sunshine and rainbows, the intallation was succesful and my device was rooted until i intalled rom manager and it intalled his own recovery and it is not working properly, now i want to get ride of that and intall one that works. PLEASE HELP, i dont want to brick my device.
When you installed rom manager it installed clockwork mod. (cwm)
You use this recovery instead from now on.
You can backup your rom or flash a new one or flash a modem or kernel..
There are loads of guides on this check one out if your not sure what to do..
Good luck
