Is there any way to disable Voice call?
Thank you!
Why do you ask this??
I think.. Voice Call is The Most Important feature that a phone should have...
Because from what I know, it does not support Greek. So I can not use it.

Works perfectly for me now. Thanks a lot. I thought it was the other way around, 3rd party apps needed to be on.
Where did you find that? So you got GVoice working with MIUI?

Yeah, I got it working...I do not have miui on my phone now, but I think if you go to settings, then whatever the middle tab is. Down there should say something about 3rd party phone calls or something like that. Make sure it is off. Then try

Thanks for setting this straight.
DISABLING "Third-party Acess" did the trick.
You can find it under Settings>Programs>Calls.

Various reviews mentioned that you are able to use S Voice to trigger the camera shutter by saying "Cheese"
I have tried this many time in the S3 camera but can never trigger this. Is this feature removed or has anyone been able to trigger it?

Strange, I keep trying but it just will not work. So basically you just go to camera app, and then say the word right? or do you have to enable any settings for the voice to work?

Go to Settings, Language and Keyboard, turn on Voice cmd for apps.
Open S Voice, say "Open Camera ", then try saying "cheese" when ready to take a shot.

Hi
I updated my s3 a week ago to 4.3 and now i can't call. I have no problems with SMS, everything is OK only when i try to call, i lose the signal for 10 sec. I tried lower versions but without luck. I also tried EZ unlock but it doesn't work.
Anyone any idea please ?
Thanks a lot in advance
Factory reset and flash the latest 4.3 with odin, if still the same then probably a hardware fault.

Sorry, let me explain it again. So, if i try to call someone, i hear nothing, and my signal is gone for 10 sec. My when i send an sms to someone, it's working fine. I can send and receive messages. Skype is working perfectly. So it's not a voice hardware problem

I think the problem is that you keep losing signal. That is why you can't make voice calls, but SMS can be sent and received whenever the signal is back up again.
But the solution remains the same as @JellyYogurt said: flash stock 4.3 via Odin.
PS: Voice calls and skype calls are different since most people use skype on wifi, not their data plan.

I looked through all the settings and didn't see where this is.... when people call me it says "such and such calling" Any way to disable this? Or anyone know if I enabled it somehow?!>!

If I'm not mistaken, but you could have something turned on under accessibility menu.

Accessibility> answering and ending calls> voice controls.
If u uncheck this it will not read the name of the caller out loud. Hope this helps since no one seemed to know the answer.

I actually just posted a thread similar to this. I found out you can turn it off but you have to turn off voice control as well. The thing is I like to sometime answer calls with voice control because my hands are busy or in the shower or whatever...
With my previous phones(S4, Note 2), I could turn the caller ID voice prompt off independently and still have the voice control feature. But with the S5, it's both or nothing. I'm hoping I missed something but I've looked and looked...
But if you don't need both features, you can turn both off together but not one or the other(call settings > answering and ending calls > voice control).

Thanks for the reply. I too think it would be nice if u could toggle them independently. Maybe someone can cook that into a ROM.
