[Q] Problem with gingerreal 1.4 - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

sorry my bad english i speak spanish but i try to explain me.
i install gingerreal 1.4 kpw but i have a problem, i cant charge my phone off, it restarts when I connect.
any solution?
thx

flash stock rom through odin and then again intall ginger real 1.4.

i try over kpw and kpo but i have the same problem.

This is because gingerreal 1.4 is using cfroot b82-ex which will turn on phone automatically when charging. This problem is already patched by ketut. Go to the cfroot thread and get the fix.

i've got a different problem with gingerreal 1.4 and it is:
i'm coming from gingerreal 1.3.0 and i've flashed 1.4 kpw. it seems to work properly (i've restored accounts, settings and so on) but if i try to install any app my phone reboots.

Ermm it is when you install any app it will reboot into boot animation? That's probably the SD ext partition being damaged. I had it once and reflashed the Tom it worked you might want to try.

i've realized no problems, anyway, flashing again gingerreal 1.3.0: it works properly.

Rom manager not working

My rom manager is not updating, saying some signature error. Right now I am on sensation rom using KI3 kernel.
Can anybody assist and also when I slide on my lock screen to unlock my camera starts automatically.
Please help, this is my first time at rooting.

Signature error due to the missing of zImage. Flash the zImage from your Rooted kernel, via CWM.

What do you need rom manager for? The sensation rom already comes the speedmod kernel which has cwm recovery, boot into recovery if you want to install other roms, don't bother with rom manager. You can flash all day long.
I noticed today that the data connection on my phone is not working the way it used to before I flashed the rom. Any particular reason or remedy for this.
No wonder have a better battery performance

Superoneclick could be a good idea. Install it and just click on unroot. They say just don't mount the sd card and you'll be fine.

[Q] Seriously need help

Right well been playing aruond alot with my phone and now want to go back to stock rom so i can install sgs 2 final rom.
The reason is that the a2sd isnt working on that rom and the kernel that i have is not cf-root and cf-root will not install when i flash the rom.
So obviously i have a galaxy ace, it's GT-S5830.
I am unable to recover my backup using cwm as it just stops at the second samsung boot animation.
Now i am looking for the stock baseband version but cannot find that. My baseband is S5830BVKQA.
I have been using cm7.1 and .2 which from what i have read causes problem due to ext4 and rfs system thing.
Please help me this is the last thing that i even want to know
i am currently working on the a2sd malfunction

(HELP). Random freeze and reboot.

I got the S3 with Revoulution HD S5 (smartdroid) ROM with boeffla kernel.
Lately ive been getting random freezes just in the middle of doing nothing with my phone, it just freezes and then goes to reboot, while its trying to reboot it bootloops. With that i mean its trying to reboot then screen goes black and then it tries to reboot again.. Then i have to pull the battery out and insert it again and it works (for some time.)
So my question is how can i fix this and what is the problem? Ive read some posts saying that it could be the firmware? Well i have read alot of other posts but never really find any good soulution so please HELP!

If it still freezes and reboots on stock then you have bad memory blocks in your nand memory.

Change your Kernel. I am using Revolution S5 without any issue. Better install LiteGX kernel. Do not play with Kernel if your knowledge is less. LiteGX is just a plug & play Kernel.
I got the same issue.
I´m on it. I will try latest official. You should check if your emmc chip is possible broken. Just load the app emmc check and google about "SDS S3"
I´ll post a solution if i can get it solved.
