When i had my S2 with stock roms all headphones work great for me, after flashing some romes sound on sony/creative headphones is quiet, but when I'am using original headphones(included in samsung s2 box) sound is good, can You tell me what is wrong? I can see, jack is different in this original samsung heaphones, because of microphone right? Can i do something to have good sound not only on original headphones? Thank You in advance
Sorry for my english...
Voodoo Control
You should try to install "voodoo control" from the market (is free)...it should improve sound quality, fix audio issues present in Samsung kernels and unleash the powerful hi-fi headphone amplifier included in your phone.
Just give it a try ...
Ok i solved this using perma, wipe and install rom again

i have DSP Manager bundled with Omega Black/Blue ICS...
Beats audio is only well integrated with HTC phones.
Even in the resurrection rom it doesnt really enhance quality.
Its just placebo effect. The max that you can do is get dsp manager thats all!

That's not true!
The Galaxy S2 has, in fact, terrible audio quality. This is due to poor quality hardware components (namely the Yamaha DAC).
There are two things you can do.
You can follow the advice of Kaffee4Eck and use voodoo louder, what won't help THAT much. Or you can get an external DAC (like the FiiO E7). This will give you superb sound quality, that no iPhone or HTC will get close to. However, you'll have to stick with CyanogenMod for it to work, it's less portable, because you'll have an additional device in your pocket and I'm not sure if you'll be pleased with it. I'm not sure because:
a) you've got beats and
b) you say that the problem is that they aren't "booming" like on you HTC.
I don't know you, so I can't tell, but too me it looks like you don't like sound quality, but pure bass. I cannot tell if the FiiO is good for that kind of job.
Thanks for advice Sniper i dont fancy paying £60 for additional device was hoping that there would have been a software mod worth trying

As mentioned earlier, voodoo louder. You just need the app on a compatible kernel.
The most importent thing - speakers. I love the original Samsung headphones!

Just gotta ask:
Have you ever used "real" headphones?
My phone good audio quality stock rom and any other rom .
Samsung stock phones .
Sound level on stock over 50% is to high .
Slight addition to a better quality is Volume Plus free old version app and a pair of
ViSang R02 in ear buds .
jje
Try them until you find one that works and meets your audio needs

Well, I do use it (paid for it, no regrets). But from your reply, I suppose Beats audio is a music player?

actually, beats audio has the function as DSP manager and poweramps, but it really works. and i miss it waiting for beats version on JB
I had Beats on my i9001 before and I heard no difference.
If I want deeper bass, I just listen to music on my PC and foobar2000...
Hi guys! I've installed many KitKat roms for my S2. But I have a problem with these roms. When I am listening to music(not with headset) my back speaker has too many bass and the high sounds are crushing too much. Please help me, Thanks!
