You obviously missed the Russian label with link to Russian firmware.
I got a SGS2 on Orange UK

PHONE: I9100BVKJ4
CSC I9100ORAKJ4
I'd like to dump the current firmware in case its needed somewhere down the line but I'd also like to debrand, can someone point me in the right direction?

No need to dump just download it from below

then just root it using CF-root from below using the XENKJ3 file, which you can then place original FW on SD card and flash back at anytime using cwm

or just flash a custom rom using odin or once rooted using cwm
Once rooted you just delete all the crap you don't want off the phone.

Depends what sort of file if its full firmware yes

Want a later one you choose based upon your location .All in the stock rom thread .

Nah. Its not that i dont want to search. The problem is my internet traffic which is only 814MB left and i have lots to donwload for my phone and other important things. So i cant afford to waste even a byte uselessly. I hope you understand....

Checkfus have the optus Australian one i need Vodafone one to hard to find it
