Hello, i need unbranded russian rom for i9100 android 2.3.5...can anyone help me out?

You obviously missed the Russian label with link to Russian firmware.

That one not only contain kernel, modem and CSC only? Got rom inside?

It has the rom outside not inside Rom contains all its stock rom .
Rom contains full firmware .

can i have a little bit further explain? sorry i am too stupid for this =( mine is under XWKF1, there are 2 files to be downloaded..so which file should i put in odin? what is OLB and SME? rom outside-is it mean downloading that 2 files can help me restore back the stock rom? thanks first

hi guys..im kinda new here..and i've been searching this forum for quite some time now, but cant find any thread for my SGS2..
im using GT-i9100 baseband: DXKF1 with build number: XWKF1
can someone please give me a link to update my phone??i wanna update it to 2.3.4
still running with gingerbread 2.3.3 and kinda annoyed with this battery drain bug.

Hello:
WARNING: I am a complete newbie and know nothing about 'flashing' or 'rooting'.
From a previous post, I learned that I should download "GT-I9100_XEU_I9100XWKJ1_I9100XEUKH2_I9100XXKI3.exe" to change my firmware from Spainish to something Canadian. I have it downloaded now.
I also read that I should have Kies installed, due to the drivers that it contains, but not 'running' in any way. I installed Kies but it will not connect to my phone - maybe because of my spanish firmware? Does this matter or is just having its drivers installed the important thing?
Is there a tutorial about how I should proceed? Do I need to 'root' my phone first? Do I need additional software?
Sorry for my confusion but I am really unsure as to how to proceed?

How do I find the correct firmware for NA?
there is no correct firmware for NA, any stock firmware will work on your phone as one of the stock languages is us english.
Flash KK2/KK5.

If not if i root my phone can i unroot it?
And if i install a custom rom. How can i install the normal rom again?

Not unless the custom rom contains root .

Yes by flashing a stock firmware or kernel and resetting the custom rom counter to zero .

phone needs to be rooted before you flash a custom rom.
have a read through the developer section and all the answers for your other questions will be answered.
first steps first though - read chainfires root and clockwork recovery thread first to see what tools you need and follow the guide to the letter - no exceptions!

Typically you will need to root your phone before you install a custom rom, and yes you can easily unroot. There are several guides in the development section to help you. Make sure you read thoroughly and understand what you're doing.

Custom roms are flashed via cwm and stock are flashed by Odin. Most custom roms are pre rooted.
