optimus will not turn on - Optimus One, P500, V General

my optimus one will not turn on ... not even when I press back and volume up key and plug in the usb cable. I've taken the battery out and tried to load it too. does someone know what i could do else?. sorry for the bad english, I'm using google translator

Have you installed a custom ROM or Kernel?

yes i have
cyanogenmod 7 version 6.5.4
franco kernel 19.4

hmm
start charging of the phone
phone will start then
cyan have feature that if you start charging phone wake up
this should help if not then you bricked your device

i tried to charge, but nothing happens...but at last i tried to make the official firmware on my phone...then i turned it off and since then nothing happens with my phone.i hope that its not bricked

hi
check if the batter's genuine..aspee's right, charge the phone..
try this:
Emergency mode
Code:
press and hold volume up and the back key then press power
then proceed to re-flash via KDZ..

if you turn off youre phone when kdz updater was working , then you got only one chance to get him alive , guarranty. Or service with J-TAG.
I had same problem !

what is j-tag?

flash kdz again all problem will solve (use the guide that in our forum)
and if emergency mode is not working then your phone is bricked or buttons are broken
anyway good luck,

Try to get into either recovery or download mode.

If you have tried all the things suggested and the phone cannot switch on, then how do you think Samsung will switch it on?
Right now you have an expensive paper-weight. And to be honest, you deserve it. The instructions for flashing the ROM will have told you not to unplug the USB until the flashing process was finished and roughly how long the flashing time would take.
So you have nothing to loose returning it to Samsung saying that it happened updating their KIES.

[q] lg p999 rom installed on lg p925g (lg thrill) not working help!!!!!!!

Hi users of xda developers i'm new to android. I made a mistake that i installed lg p999 (lg optimus 2x) rom on lg p925g (lg optimus 3d). And it's not working right now when i press the power on/off button its not turning on and i can't even see.the lg boot logo i never erased any boot logo. Whenever i connect the usb and connect it to computer (windows 7) i can hear the usb plugged in sound but suddenly i can.also hear usb plugged out sound when i hear the first hear usb plugged in and plugged out it keep doing the usb plugged in and out sound again.and again. Help me reply me as soon as possible
Dont worry my friend
This firmware wont work on your device
it like driving a gasoline car with diesel =)
However...dont worry
As you have written i can figure out that you know the procedure of flashing roms to phones via odin
go on google and search for a stock rom for your device
afterwards you can flash it and after a whipe data/cash in recovery mode everything should work again
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1246678
read this thread and everything should be fine =)
Hope i could help u my friend
Sorry jiffer1991 I tried the method u gave but its not working
I told u at the beginning that my phone is not even turning on and i can't even see the LG Boot Logo.
Can you please post the procedure to do that or screen shot or any other method
Does nothing happen if you push the power on button ?
First of all u have to get to the recovery mode...
I found this in the internet lets look if it works
"Press the power button and the Volume+ button at the same time and release them when the Viewsonic splash screen pops up"
But wait I found a thread about the emergency recovery for the optimus 3d
but its in german
however it says that u should download the LGMobile-Updater
If u installed the software download the correct driver for ur phone and after that go to the emergency recovery it should work
you may not understand what they say but its with pictures and it might help u

have you tried the fastboot method, it´s in android development, "all you need to know..."
try to flash official stock fw like .452 or .45 with flashtool..try to connect the phone in flashmode....hopefully everything will be alright...
PEACE
guys, phone is not able to boot in any mode, it be fastboot or flashmode! its completely dead thats what i meant earlier. After a lot of researching the whole night, i was able to figure out that the bootloader is that the UNIFLASH corrupted the bootloader. So how to fix that?
try this: make sure you have enough charge and the drivers of your phone are installed correctly. (flashtool drivers)
power+volume up wait till vibrates three times,
then connect your phone to pc.
run the flashtool and prepare the firmwares youre going to flash,
a screen will appear and says turn off your phone....etc
hold power button + volume up wait till vibrates three times
then quickly hold power button + volume down.
it will flash the firmware.
just keep on trying.

Had the same problem yesterday!
Maybe a noob advice but here what was my mistake: after switch off the phone with volume up, wait for like 30 second before trying to connect in flash mode. Though my phone was dead but just had to wait a little bit before trying the flash mode. Flashtool heal it!

That rom is using overclocked kernel, that should be the problem,... But one try.
Just switch off (volume up and power until 3 vibrations), just in case, the open flashtool, click on that flash and select fastboot mode.
Then keep volume up and connect with pc and see if the led goes violet.

If ypu tried and it did nothing it means it not entering fastboot and probably your device is bricked and my guess is overclocked kernel, but it's just a guess.

Once again
1. If you hold, not keep pressing but hold volume up+power then 1 vibration is reboot and if you keep holding them 3 vibrations is switch off.
2. I asked you something else, start flashtool, press flash and choose fastboot.
Then, your phone is off you said, hold only volume up button, HOLD and CONNECT to pc. If you led blinks violet you are in fastboot mode,
If not just let it connected to flash tool, close the window from fastboot with options and watch the main flashtool window if you will see some report.
Just watch for 10min if not, then...

Bit more detail how you bricked it installing CWM. What exactly you done and where you get it from.
Try to shut it down, press power + volume up untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations.
See if you can connect it in flash mode (connect usb to pc while you hold volue down), the led should turn green.

First I'd like to thank's for your help ChikeD!
Well.... I was trying to install the new CM 11 Nightly Build - a custom ROM build on Android 4.4.2 KitKat- on my Sony Xperia P device
I had rooted succesfully and was seaching for an app on google play store to provide access to "recovery mode" that works with my LT 22i to finish the installation of this new rom... i tryed lot of apps, but no one worked... and so I've found this app "Recover X" from LEDelete developer.
after install and run, this app show me one option to get access to recovery mode... i dont remember exactly, but i saw somethig like "CMW......" on screen. after download, I tryed to reboot my phone and then its completly dead!! i'd tryed any kind of possibility pressing buttons dowloading softwares and more but my computers didn't recongize it when connect USB cable...
vol+ / power dont work, vol- / usb dont work, no charging indicator, no lights blinks, nothing works! it looks like a motherboard without any operational system...
And I saw in some websites that exist one JIG for Samsung devices that alows recovery phones with problems like mine... so i wonder if is possible to find some JIG for Xperia P or any other possibility of reinstallation of android system
I hope i made myself clear because I'm still learning this language... that means I'm sorry for my bad english in advice...
If there is anything that you can't understand, please let me know
Thank's a lot!
Alex
If you had asked before I would have told you Recovery X won't work, didn't work the 2 times I have tried it, but didn't brick my phone eithr.
To incatal CM you didn't neet to root or install CWM since you need to flash it's kernel anyway.
Is your bootloader unlocked?
Was the phone fully charged when it happened, did it start boot and then died or just went black?
Have you tried to hold the power + volume up for 10-15 minutes?
To reinstall firmware you need flash mode (volume down while connecting to USB), have you flashed with flashtool or PC Companion before?

Yes i had reinstalled twice by flash tool and pc companion, holding vol down while connecting to USB, because the device was with very low performance.
When i was trying to get rebooted on "recovery mode" before the black screen, my battery was on 85%....
Yesterday i tried to do "hard reboot" holding the power + volume up for 50 minutes and nothing....
Actually what i really need is find a way to get some response of the system of this phone (by connecting in some jig, or doing something with the software or even the hardware...), because if my computer recognize the phone, i do believe that i'll can handle with reinstallation... in other words, my challenge now it's only get out from the black screen for any other operational response
One of my ideas is unmount rear cover and try to disconnect the battery cord for 10 minutes and see if something changes... but i'm fully opened to new ideas
I really believe that i'll succeed on this case with yours precious help!!
Thank you again for your assistance!
