That's cool I guess. I mean siri is pretty pointless but it might be fun to play around with.

Except it won't work, because each use of the app requires an identifier from a 4s.
They will find a way around the identifier

Evidently its different as the apk can be ported and only asks for tags that can be mimicked if you read the article.
Though i doubt it happening, I'm not ruling it out by anymeans.

I've tried voice actions (Jeannie) really wasn't what I thought it would do which wasn't much. tried Eva just keeps fc. tried Omega same thing just fc. sooooooo..... any ideas. using rooted, locked, stock, 198_6. thanks for any ideas tired of shooting on the dark.

I use just the normal Voice Search from Google. I have used Iris before too though, and it's okay so far I believe it is still Alpha though.

Yeah, the google voice search is good and accurate. I haven't had the need for 3rd party apps.
i use skyvi, it's the best one so far i think and gets updated plenty
I've heard of an app called Cluzee. Originally saw it on a post on Engadget. Haven't had any personal experience with it but the post hyped it up as the "Siri" of Android.

If you place an app on top of another, it'll create a folder that resembles iOS in a way.

Take an app and drop it next to the app drawer, then another, then another.

Love it. Two folders on my home page are media and social.
Edit: didn't realize u could do that with the actual launcher. Just assumed it was for the pages.

Yup - its got a few little differences though - like the app menu icon on the right hand side which you dont seem to be able to move.
obviously other alternatives are apex/nova etc.
I found how well this app works. How do I easily open it like with the double tap home on my old droid x. Any help appreciated. Just hope that the solution is stock.

That was absolutely not my intention. I was wondering if you had found a different app I hadn't seen
Sent from my ADR6425LVW
I've worked with it and it has a success rate of around 90 its insane. I tried WiFi at the Verizon store and it was slow and incapaple with a success rate of around 70. IPhone users still try to sell me on siri lol.
They even think that apple made siri when it was actually made by the same people who made voice software for computers I believe that it is called dragon or something. Isheep are generally ignorant because the ones who are isheep have obviously never used android because if they did the wouldn't be isheep.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
I know that was not your intentions and I was saying that in a way where I was laughing at myself. It was because I often times don't read manuals and then overlook extremely simple solutions.

I must have missed that story. I thought that would have been big enough news to get noticed and discussed. I've been told a few times that the assistant commands just aren't enabled yet on Google's end. I wouldn't doubt it if apple claims to own a patent on telling a computer to do something forward you though...
