I have a rooted retail p7500. Some markers apps are flagged as not available in my region (ireland) like rom manager. Is there a workaround?

Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S III which is bought in Barcelona Spain. Sadely it is simlocked and so I cannot use my Belgian sim card..
I'm wondering how this simlock works?
Also: If I flash a custom rom such as Cyanogenmod, will the SIM lock be gone?
If not? Any reliable other suggestions I can try?
(I already tried some but neither of them worked untill now)

You don't have to pay, just download the app from the thread(not from the market) and make sure you have busybox installed (I don't know how much it costs)

I m from india and want to flash stock JB FW of France.. Question i have is :
Google Play store will show paid apps for india or France? Speciall will currency be euro or Indian rupees?

I belive that it'll show the local currency since many have flashed the spanish and nordic ROMs and no complaints about it so far.

It will be YOUR local currency. So whatever country you're/carrier etc.

Your biggest issue is that it doesn't run an official version of Android. Your best bet is to look in some other forums as that device is rare around here

Hi did the whole downgrade upgrade to get to .109. rooted using the "de" image posted in developement section and noticed that the remote database is completely different from the original US version. Any ideas for an easy fix to get the US database back? Devices that did work b4 are not in the german version.Thanks in advance for any help with this one.

Try to get this two apk from a US build and replace them in your actual rom
--> (/system/vendor/overlay/)
- com.sony.nfx.app.irremoteapiservice-res.apk
- com.sonymobile.irremote-res.apk
