[Q]Restore with bb patch

X10a is on bb54..ran Trips 2.2miui rom with cobratos bb patch. Made a backup through xrecovery.
[Q] when restoring the backup do I need to reapply the bb patch zip after restore before reboot?
I've done a restore and been locked on the se logo screen unable to open xrecovery. Not really looking to change bbands since I also run Wolfs rom..

I was switching between J's GB ROM and Wolf's. I was on baseband 52 all the time and on Wolf's I used the baseband patch. When I do a restore of my backup the ROM fully works.
I guess the patch is for the ROM and not the baseband.
Are u talking about restoring your backup of J's Rom?
If you restore a backup of Wolfs Rom it works fully without having to reinstall the bb patch zip?

DO NOT reinstall the patch if its applied already in the backup.

If I (or anyone for that matter!) help you, dont be afraid to press THANKS!
Any idea why when I try restoring my backup of TripNMIUi I end up stuck at the se logo? Its happened twice...first time I was able to get into xrecovery after 30+min of trying..second time I had to use Seus and flashtool..

I always do full wipe, including cache and dalvik...
I do a clean..same as if installing custom Rom..maybe I should clean more than once?
I usually don't wipe battery stats though..but everything else

Just found what possibly the problem. I believe I downloaded the GB patch instead of the patch for Froyo. But it worked on Trips 2.2 miui..so I'm guessing on restore it finally caused a problem.
Have to check the patch to see if its actually the wrong one..

How can i go back

How can i go back to my original stock 2.2.2 rom on my dell streak? I am currently running StreakDroid 1.9.0 and i don't like it. Can someone please tell me how.

Yes. I can tell you.
Do a search and read the other posts that have asked the same question.

Now that you are pissed at me.
Use the multirecovery tool to load the recovery that matches the rom you want. Put the rom on the sd card.
Now flash the recovery and the reboot into it. Then do the update.

I followed the directions that was on here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1000455

GingerStreak 2.3 nandroid backup

Can somebody upload GingerStreak 2.3 nandroid backup? Really appreciated!

I could just send you my passwords, email, contacts and anything else you want off of it in a nearly bundled package. Would that be easier?

How do I backup the factory baseband on streak

Nandroid doesn't do it. So how do I backup the baseband. I could not find anything relevant info to backup baseband on streak in the forums. Could someone please help
No need to. A nandroid restore doesn't restore the baseband anyway, so anytime it needs changed you have to do it from a computer using fastboot. All the mbn files can be found here:

I don't see any answer there, only an alternate method. What if you have forgotten the original baseband version? The reason I had to ask this question is that last time around messing with the baseband lead to my streak not connecting to the tmob network the QDL tool failed at ADB point, trying different versions of rom/baseband lead nowhere but getting stuck at dell logo. so this time I would like to backup everything including AMSS and DSP1. Since it would be virgin streak it might be helpful to other users too but apparently there is no way for novice users to backup their baseband.
Afaik you are right there's no way for novice users to backup their bb....only solution left is for those novices to read the how to flash using fastboot and become less novice....
Life is for tough for those who don't dare to try...
