I cant install Doomkernel v04b to any Rom, it alway get error: falure at line 1: dir_copy package:system System: then installation aborted. So, i think i'll install by hand, it means: i'll extract then copy to system each item and set permission according to update_script text file? Is it ok?
That's normal for that to happen if you check doomlords thread he'll tell you that himself once you get the aborted message just back out to the main settings in recovery and reboot your phone from there and its installed cause when it boots you'll see a Xperia boot screen with the white android buddy in the middle.

Hic, i wait for 20mins it alway stop at boot animation.
Hmmm that's strange is your bootloader locked or unlocked?
Sent from my Nocturnal revolution X10i using XDA Premium App
Try using the FS version.
My phone is locked bootloader. I dont know why . help me plz!
I can't understand why it isn't working for you then as I'm on locked bootloader and it works just fine for me you could always check doomlords thread and see if anyone else has the same prob as you.

Can someone tell me how to run the custom kernel made by z? Like exact instructions links needed clearly? I readed a few threads but didnt understand anything o.o

in that case its probably safer for you to just leave it alone. The kernel still needs work anyways and I myself am pretty firmilar with the flashing process and still managed to cause my phone to get stuck at the sony ericsson boot screen after flashing

Zzz like what the guy above me said, if your not 100% familiar with the flashing process then don't. Sigh might as well.
1 root your phone
2 install busybox and xrecovery
3 download the custom kernel
4 boot into xrecovery
5 install custom zip
6 select your kernel zip
7 wait a while, when done reboot
8 wait 10 min and done.

That's much further than I got. I thought I ported the rom successfully, (so the kitchen says). Then tries to flash it but I get this:

Did u ever get that? If so, how did you solve it?
Regards to your question, I have no clue.

May be the zip file is not correctly signed or else got corrupted.I did not use kitchen.
Just replace the files and use "d4 update.zip" maker to create a flashable zip.
Once i got this error something like e: error /sdcard/xxxx.zip (status 6).
Then i recreated the zip, that solved my problem.
Ahh thanks mate. Will give it a go

Hi there all! And happy new year!!!
Couple of questions,
First, Zoner antivirus found this the exploits, should i be worried?
1: File is infected: exploit.AndroidOS.Lotoor.G -sdcard/bluetooth/SdxAppRemoval-1.5.apk
I removed the app, scan, removed
2: App is infected: Exploit.AndroidOS.Lotoor.G com.caspian.android.removal
Phone is rooted by Superoneclick
Android: 2.3.4
Build: 4.0.2.A.0.42
Second question, if i upgrade to .62, will the phone still be rooted?
And finally, any use of lookout antivirus? Cus it did not seem to find any exploit, but Zoner did.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2012! )

Did your device rooted? Try to install cwm recovery, then format system, format data, format cache, format sd card, dont reboot your phone, select mount sd card, then put one of the custom ROM (ex, SE Tweaked) to your sd card, unmount, then flash the rom, reboot.
If your bootloader was unlocked, i recommend you to flash inteks or doomkernel first, cause it has built in cwm recovery, so you dont have to worried if flashing doesnt work.
Use it with your own risk.
Let me know if its help.

u cannot flash firmware in CWM, only zip files. ICS is stock Firmware and has to be installed through flashtool or PC companion
If you want stock Rom download ics ftf and flash it using flashtool then you have to root your mobile again
If you want a costom rom
First you have to flash a ics kernel using flashtool
Then install the zip using cwm

Ya.. But whenever I flash optimax Rom even on .587 stock firmware the phone gets stuck on Sony logo. The bl is unlocked but still can't get into recovery after flashing the Rom. So Every time I have to reflash the stock Rom and follow rooting process again, did that thrice! Any advice?
Is there any other requisite before flashing the Rom?

I thought you said bootloader was locked...if its unlocked then just flash a custom kernel...nd you'll have recovery. No need to repeat the whole flashing..rooting process again.

Can you suggest a good kernel which won't cook the phone, and why doesn't the ROMS have kernels built into it? Is it because the ROMS are built for all the neo phones?

No kernel will cook the phone. You only have to use GB kernel for GB ROMs, ICS kernel for ICS roms, etc. A new kernel will change nothing at your rom.
Sony doesn't allow flashing kernel via a cwm zip like on Samsung phones.
