[Q] Flash CS5.5 - Set as ringtone - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

is there a way in the latest version of flash CS5.5 for android to set a file from the web or from the library as a ringtone? I have created a soundboard but want to add the option for ringtones also.
I can get the file to download using file ref, but it doesnt save in the correct location and gives no indication of the download status, there must be a more user friendly way of doing this?
any help would be AMAZING!
thanks

CHome - cannot customize

Hi,
i want to add my own city to the weather tab. I have downloaded the CHome. Everything ok, but when I want to customize the weather tab, I get only one short sound. I can customize only settings tab. Know anybody any solution, please?
I tried edit the file HH_0405_WeatherCities.txt, but there is "only read" attribute, and I cannot change the Attributes.
P.S. I am sorry of my English, I am from CZE and learning English yet.

[Q] Android Download Manager

Hey guys, i'm looking for a download manager that will allow me to specify a download location when downloading files from my web browser. I'm currently using Miui Browser and/or xScope but its annoying to have to move files to a storage directory every time I download something and the browser only use a default directory for all downloads.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

[Q] Anyone have Northeast 1.2 GPS Script?

I think I'm getting a corrupted download from the FTP site, CWR won't install the .zip, says it's bad. Anyone have Northeast 1.2 and can post it or send it to me?
My GPS was great before but after I upgraded the radio I can't get a lock at all.
Here you go, I've enclosed the zip. If it still won't work for you what I do is just update the file in the rom and flash that. Which in this case would be system/etc/gps.conf. I've always kept a copy of the rom on my memory card and update it as needed. What I do is move the rom and whatever the other zip is to my desktop and use 7-zip to "open archive" on both zip files. I do this on my desktop because I get more consistent results versus trying to do it on the sd card. You can either delete the file in the rom and drag/drop the new gps.conf into it or you can right-click the file "edit" copy/paste the text into gps.conf. You could use adb to do this I'm sure but I for one am too lazy/stupid to download, figure out and use it. Using the above method I've updated/replaced "all" the google apps, updated the hosts file, modified the build.prop, tried a couple different gps scripts and I have a completely updated rom (Liberated 2.2.2). And the updates for the google apps aren't stealing internal storage.
If you use GPS Status (free download) reset and download new assistance data.
Awesome thanks!

How to download files in Omega Files Kitchen ?

Hello I got a problem to download files in Omega Files Kitchen 8.0/9.0, tried to post in Omega thread but without answer, maybe solution is silly easy but not for me ...
Anyone can help me how to download files from Omega Files Kitchen, it always ends with error while downloading, yes I read that then have to use download all files app, but it wont works too, how to use it ?
When I'm in Omega kitchen files app and click for some app/mod to download, it automatically downloads with stock app, resulting with download error at the end of file, download all files is not available in upper bar or in 'open with' menu.

Click to collapse
go to application manager, find "browser", then clear the default and then download another browser like "Maxthon" which i use
Thank you, clearing "internet" app cache helped
After some checking, problem could be also using Directory Bind to mount download catalog, reason was to export all download files from internal sdcard (memory) to extsdcard.

Noticication Sound

Confused! I have a sound file on the SD card that I used to use for the notification sound of my prior phone (shift). All the sound files need to be in a dir under system/media/audio/ notifications. I tried copy paste via Astro but the permissions prevent the paste action. How do I get the file moved to where the LTE is expecting it?
I can get it to show up as a ringtone choice. But when I go to settings, sounds, default notification, it is not there.
I have had some issues with astro lately when using it to 'move' (copy paste). Just a hunch, but try doing this using Root Explorer.
Solved:
After failing to copy via all file explorer apps I connected to my computer with debug mode on. I was able to copy paste to the notifications folder & now the phone lists it as a choice. I made it my default & all is well. Lot of work for a simple task?

If you are not r00ted, or S-OFF, HTC Dev unlocked, you will not be able to use Astro or Root Explorer (my personal favorite) to move the files to the correct location, so you would need to download the notification.
Settings => Sound => Notification Sound
Then, you will see an option called "Shifter" which might be the same.
If not, click on the [Get More] button in the upper-right hand corner, to download whatever you like.
If this fails, then you can connect to your computer via USB ~ TWRP Recovery has a great mount option as well... ~ and you can copy and paste at will.
