Hi waallace.
They are both installed and working fine.
I just did it again, OK!
I´ve already tried twice as recommended by somebody else.
My phone states TODAY, as change with every try
Model Nº: E10i
Firmware ver. 2.1-update-1
Base Band: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404006
Kernel 2.6.29
[email protected]#1
Compilation 2.0.A.0.504
Phone is with a not recognized simlock certificate again, and again.
Looks like is a bad code in s1 root write, when unlocked and no way I can fixed.
Still need Help, no fancy replies.
Thanks for your support buddy.

it is not decided yet but probably yes
Can this be installed onto a UK sim free handset? I am currently running the generic (Nordic?) 2.3.4, are there noticeable improvements in this firmware but, more importantly, will it run OK on a UK phone network?

Should work fine on your UK phone
what is this FW? Cynanogen7.1 FW? 2.3.4 FW? 2.3.5 ? @[email protected] ?
I am presuming it is the official SE firmware that has been rolling out to parts of europe (but not the UK yet). I just worry that it may stop further OTA updates if it is not recognised as a UK handset. Saying that though, never waited for an OTA yet.....
OTA updates are overrated as a concept. When I had the Samsung Galaxy S I remember people were so hyped about OTA updates (mainly because Kies was a big fat POS) that some custom ROM cooks tried their luck to bring them to the phone. I think they didn't really manage to do it. I got to have them on my Vega with Cyanogen but then the CM7 update server blew up and I didn't miss them. I think they're a nice-to-have thing but their absence is not crucial.
I can't seem to flash it

[Q] Can't Flash Kernel for CM7.1.0 FXPO42

I just received my X10i today and rooted it and installed xrecovery. I tried installing CM7.1.0 FXP042 but the kernel wouldn’t flash through flashtool. I’ve included a part of the log below. I thought it might be a driver issue since it flashed twice to unlock the boot, so I used USBDeview to remove all instances of SEMC from the computer which is running Windows 7 64bit and let all of the drivers be reacquired. Still a no go. I am used to installing kernels and roms in Clockworkmod recovery and am wondering if I can flash the kernel and FXP042 through xrecovery? Any help would be appreciated as I really miss CM7 and Blue Honeycomb 3D. Thanks.

Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Yes, I have root. Superuser and Busybox, etc.
From the log you posted, it looks like you have'nt unlocked your bootloader. You have to follow this to unlock your bootloader, before trying to install CM7.1.0. I interpret what you wrote as having root, but not unlocking your bootloader.
HTH
Thank you. You are correct. Bootloader is locked. Having just received the phone yesterday and purchasing it as an unlocked sim phone, I am not familiar with X10's. I looked through the link, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087 and had a question. I ran the S1 tool and got the result below. Does that mean that I can use the above procedure to unlock boot, or because there is no certificate number listed, that the phone doesn’t have a SEMC certificate and that I can’t use this method. Also, the kernel link is Doomkernel v05-FS which should be good enough I would think because I’ll get Overlock when I flash CM7. Please give input and suggestions.

This is what I want to use to unlock the bootloader, but since I did read the thread, I want to have positive verification that I indeed do have a simlock certificate so that I don't lose the radio, screw(sic) up the phone and have to post a plea asking how to unbrick it. I did not sim unlock it, for all I know it was a factory unlocked phone, but thats the point; I don't know and I prefer facts and data to speculation and assumption. Thanks for your input though.
Alternate method to unlock bootloader is this.

I already searched several threads regarding USB Debugging problems but nothing worked with my device.
Had installed these drivers theyve Linked, I only Repaired the Driver Problems
but the problem is still present during Flashmode, it states that My USB Debugging is OFF but Debugging Mode is already Enabled.
Device: WT19i
Locked Bootloader
Stock ROM .58 Firmware Gingerbread
I wanted to Upgrade to .62 Firmware Stockrom and then Unlock the Bootloader
Other Issue: Can't Upgrade to Firmware OTA.

You have to enable both Debugging Mode and Unknown Source.
If you have unlocked bootloader, upgrading via OTA is not possible.

That is my problem sir, just check the LOG
Debugging Mode and Unknown Source is already Enabled but In Flashmode
It will detect my device that Debugging Mode is off even though it is Already Enabled. Yes, I have still Locked Bootloader.

I want to Install Custom Rom, Hybrom, Because Feedback says that, Flashing
to Hybrom with stockrom .58 will have problems in during Boot Up. It will stack up on the SE Logo.
Man if you want to flash a custom rom you just have to unlock your bootloader you don't need to change your firmware or root first.
Does wotan server free of charge for flashing? it says i have invalid account even though I registered.

i would disagree on that,
my friend has .58fw and unlocked his phone thru official method,
flashed bbooff kernel and installed hyborm v16 without any issues,
just make sure to wipe data, cache partition and dalvik..

Custom ROMs require custom kernel.

Once again, it does not matter what ROM you have in first place(.58 or .62, MIUI, CM....does NOT matter).
You must install custom kernel ALSO, else phone will not boot.
Cleaning cache, dalvik cache and factory reset must also be done if installing new ROM.
1 More question sir, If I flashed a ROM to a Locked Network Unit, will it be openline after Flashing?

Custom ROMs require also custom kernel.
Custom kernel requires unlocked bootloader.
Unlocked bootloader requires Bootloader Unlock Allowed: Yes, which on some network locked phones is not like this.

Dear experts please help me
Hmm, i think, that you flashed wrong rom. I'm not sure, but ginger dx is for xperia x8
Second thing, flashtool says, that your bootloader cannot be unlocked, are u have phone from Orange? I know, that Orange in Poland (don't know, how it looks in other countries, where Orange is working, but in Poland they do it) block fastboot, and this dirabiing unlocking bl, and i supose, for this rom bootloader must be unlocked. I'm not sure, but that i think.

Christoferos,
I don`t have phone from Orange that is Plus (that is polish operator) and phone don`t have simlock.
I unlock the bootloader before i try to upgrade rom but now i can`t do this because i can`t enable usb debugging options in phone.
What can i do to restore my phone to the life.
This is not the right forum for your phone. It's the xperia mini pro (sk17i) forum and not the xperia x10 mini pro (u20i) forum
I guess this thread should be moved

It looks like your bootloader was not successfully unlocked, thats why you cant flash the kernel or the customised 2.1.1.c.0.0 firmware. Try the repair option in PC Companion. (Choose update without connecting your phone and it should give you a little repair-link).
SmG67 your`s method is very good !
My mobile back to life. I was trying to update my xperia earlier but this not work. I dont know abuout option to recovery in pc companion - that have different interface to Seus and it me confused.
