You should read the thread again. Just flash BB from the package to use this ROM
Yes, I know.
But as I'm using other roms that runs in .54 I would like to have that working on .54 too.
I just want to know if there are plans to that...

1) stupidfast is an rfs kernel...you cant flash rfs over voodoo...try reflashing the voodoo kernel and see if that fixes it...otherwise odin is ur friend
2)stupidfast is "stupid old" why would flash eclair rfs kernels from december?
oo I see. I have no Idea im kind of a noob, do you know anythreads that have newer kernels?
Stickied in the Development Forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013312

u mean froyo v5 over eclair v5? prolly...but if you are upgrading to froyo i would just use an odin package...which will put you back to rfs...then flash the newer kernel and reconvert

[Q] ROM 2.3.3. How to install MIUI after a ROM install

Hi,
I recently installed OVERDRIVE SERIES gingerbread 2.3.4 a2sd/40 languages/stable and now I want to install its MIUI - Formels MIUI gingerbread 2.3.4. as far as I am aware I should install the MIUI via xrecovery. However the xrecovery 0.3 is not to be installed on ROM 2.2 and 2.3....
How am I supposed to access the recovery menu to install the MIUI??
Any help is much appreciated.
xRecovery is included in custom roms.
But it is advised that you do a clean reinstall of 2.1 then move onto a new custom rom.

It's retarded as long as you have the right baseband or flash a baseband patch and make sure to wipe everything that step would accomplish nothing...

First Time Help

I have an LG Optimus One and I am in the UK.
Apparently I won't be getting a Gingerbread update which sucks.
So I'm thinking about custom firmware, but no idea where to start?!
Firstly, is there a custom firmware that allows Flash support on the handset to use BBCiplayer?
Not even sure what the best firmware to use is.
Would appreciate some tips, thanks.

Can I jump from 4.04 stock to CM11

Title says it all. Do I need to ease into 4.4.2 when coming from stock ICS, or can I just take the plunge?

You need to have the latest recovery installed before you can flash >4.4.

Thank you, I did put the newest CWM on the phone. I didn't know if I had to upgrade to JB before switching right up to 4.4.2, or if I needed to jump to CM10 first. I had a phone that required you go to at least CM9 before moving into 10. Thank you for the reply.
You can go from ICS to JB to KK and back to ICS if you want. It doesn't matter.
