thanks nottach, I tried it out, and I like it!
can you make one with:
- the theme found in gingerblur (but with transparent notification window)
- htc-like 1% battery
- No window animations
- Reboot in Power Menu

Haha! Man! you're so punk rock!!
Thanks for this awesome theme.
Nice!
The password rocks too.
Looks great, downloading now
Loved the PW at MegaUpload
Edit: works great on my Atrix. Loved the notificattion icons.
BTW, is there a way to deactivate these windows animations? not the regular ones, but those that come with the theme?
Thanks nottach!! I'm loving your Vivid theme and the update should make it that much better
Sent from my Atrix 4G using Tapatalk Pro
Yeah. I could do without the animations.
Love the rest

anyone here that using Watchdog Task Manager notice that you cant see the text in the upper tabs?
Mobile hotspot status bar icon missing
First, thanks for doing this - I love the theme. I noticed that the notification icon for tethering doesn't appear when the mobile hotspot is turned on. Would you be able to add this back?
Much appreciated.

I downloaded the theme and it rocks! My only problem is that the clock in my notification bar is black instead of white. (Notification Bar is black as well). Is there any way to change this or can someone direct me to an app that can change this? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

generally this occurs when you install one of these themes without being deodexed. if you've installed gladiatrix or Ginger/GreyBlur your system has been deodexed for you. if you're stock, you're probably not deodexed.
if you're on AT&T 1.8.3 and wish to deodex, look here
I'm not sure if the link i posted to you will wipe apps/app data, so I'd take a deeper look into that thread before using it, but that should probably fix your problem if you aren't deodexed. just run that, then reinstall this theme and you should be good.
Raybond,
Thanks for the reply. There seems to be a lot of good info from that thread. Are there any other options other than Deodexing? I'd rather not sacrifice performance or lose my current settings.
Any other advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

there is no other way to theme the frameworks completely without deodexing. Rest assured however that the gain outweighs the loss, or else not so many people would deodex. The performance difference is mainly noticeable in boot time, which doesn't really matter. App performance/general system performance are not affected to the point that you can feel it (if any, just a TINY bit).
Hope this helps you make your decision as to what to do.
Is it possible to add the option of waking up the phone with the volume key?
Good Job!
Thanks!
This is badass. Lol was thinking this was for 4.5.91. I got the permission to port over Evoluer also.
This is the 2nd Alpha version based on my original port of Miui 2.2.3
Change Log:
1. Use Succulent's CM7 kernel
2. Use miuiandroid's Miui Rom 2.3.30 for N1
3. Use Stock wifi modules and vendor files
4. Include Andy Thomson's Extended Settings Mod - http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/mod-extended-settings-menu-options.7738/
5. Minor fixes
Credits:
1. Succulent - for the Kernel
2. MIUI & CyanogenMod Development Teams
3. Team B - Goncezilla, CeltiWebSolutions & Indirect - for the CM7 rom that provides great reference
4. Andy Thomson for the Extended Settings Mod
5. All NT Developers for root, hacks, CWM, guides ...
6. Veronica aka lavero.burgos for CWM backup, various helps, tests
7. Me - for porting the rom

http://www.mediafire.com/?q8cg33fa36l9at8
md5sum: 321e7ba0795a220b882ddf32b836a3e4
Instructions:
1. Copy the rom - NTMiui2330c.zip to SD Card
2. Boot into CWM and do a backup of your current rom
3. Flash the rom
4. Do a factory reset
5. Reboot
Not Working:
- HW Video decoding - any help would be greatly appreciated
- HD Youtube (I think it is related to above)
Notes:
1. If you encounter white text on white background - try turn on compatibility mode or change to a dark theme
2. This rom is still in alpha. Please post your feedback/solution here and help each other
If you like it pls hit the Thanks button or buy me a beer
I'm going to grab this in a minute. Mind if I ask how you went about creating this? I tried using the miui builder that's out there but got stuck.

kind of mix and match and trial and error
I came from X10 and there's a guide on mixing the roms (it's buried deep in XDA but you can still find it at Modaco I think)
It's important to have a well working rom (in this case CM7) to base on
Need to get it boot up and read the logcat and change from there
Going to try this soon just wondering one thing does changing dpi fix icon sizes and/or does zeam launcher have an option to disable app drawer so its similar to miui launcher?
Wiped and installed it twice to be sure. I don't even get to a boot animation.
It just dies.
It's looking good so far. status bar is across the top too. Looks like it's a bit short on the left hand side cos there's a little square black box there right now. Will install screenshot app to take pic

is it safe to format sd since this is based on the first release of the cm7 alpha 8 i believe it was they are now using 12

is that an app that creates the home/menu keys on the right side like that or is that how miui is?

I have not tried various dpi yet.
I don't think you can disable app drawer in Zeam. But if you drag everything out or set app drawer background to transparent then it's quite similar to miui launcher.

Try factory reset + clear dalvik cache after install. First boot may take a while

Thanks, for a while I thought my zip is bad from previous post.
I notice the status bar issue too. May need to experiment with different dpi and see.
Just installed, looks great! I did go into a boot loop the first time I tried to install. I then wiped/installed and wiped again. Booted up quick and easy after that. Other than the status bar, haven't noticed too much quite yet but its only been 5 minutes. Will post again later.
That's button Savior. Wonder if there is an ICS style softkeys somewhere that would work

The newest update to button savior added an ICS theme. Not sure if that's exactly what you are looking for though. I've been using that on my Gnex for a week or so and love it.

More of an actual softkey row across the bottom like there is on ICS roms which don't have physical buttons. Make sense? Ill see if I can find something to show as an example.
Them soft keys. It'll shift the screen up slightly but it'd be decent.

yes the dpi does the trick
Stock Launcher Icons and Status Bar look much better now (but very big)
Use RootExplorer to edit the /system/build.prop as follows:
remove the following lines:
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density.xdpi=169.33333
ro.sf.lcd_density.ydpi=169.33333
add this line:
Code:
qemu.sf.lcd_density=240
save and set permission to 644 (all read, top write)
Edit: you need also to replace the keyboard file or it appears super big. here is the LatinIME.apk taken from Nook Color rom. Copy it to /system/app folder and set permission to 644
then reboot
Problem
If you install a theme, the sliding down action wont work.

I installed a variation of the iphone unlock slider, and sliding my finger exactly where the arrow was didn't work, but right under the slider did work. Maybe try sliding your finger in different places on the screen? I don't know much about miui so I don't know if there is another work around....

but i am desperate
I was wondering if there's a mod out there to allow you to change the quick launch shortcuts at the bottom of the screen? Or am I just stupid and you can do this with a stock phone?
I realize when we get some new ROMs going this will be added in, I'm just enjoying my stock ROM with Da_G's OC kernel and CWM for now.. I don't really have the free time to be playing around with new ROMs right now, but a flash-able mod would be great for this since I only really use two of the shortcuts.
Have you tired a custom launcher? I just got my note today and the first thing i did was install the zeam launcher.

App drawer - menu - edit - customizable grid - tap and drag.
Okay.. I was trying to stay away from using a different launcher, I've tried them in the past and always ended up uninstalling them after a few hours.
One more step to add to mikegehl's write-up: Then Menu > Save, or your changes won't stick.
Why they had to make it so much more difficult than any other position on the screens (simple drag-n-drop to remove, press-n-hold to add) is beyond me. But, it is one of my very few complaints about the stock UI.
How to change quick launch icons.
Ok I wish this was a little easier but there is a way to change the quick launch icons (all but the applications icon of course). Just click on Applications icon, click on the menu button, click on view type, make sure its on customizable grid, then click menu again, then edit. You can now drag icons (upto 4 on the note) on and off the quick launch. remember to click menu, save once you're done or it will revert back. Hope this helps!

hi zhao, THANKS so much for giving the Dinc4G some love with HTC-J add-ons =) ... ever since I saw the HTC-J (interface) i wanted to get some of it's extra (jpn only) apps and widgets
the "App & Shortcut" widget works fine (looks exactly as on HTC-J)
... but i can't get the "transparent 3x2 weather-clock" working :crying: ... even though I'm rooted, the "HTCclockwidget" (for the transparent clock from HTC-J) just fails to install over my current one! the zip itself also won't install from recovery (simply fails with some errors from within TWRP)
keep it up

Last time the post I can't reply, ROM only gravity sensor cannot be used,
only for 915F/FY DPC7
I played a bit with the new Marshmallow for our Edge to get more stuff. Also i like the S6/Note 5 style with f.e. the SSID under the wifi qs tile. I thought i share this fun with the community.
Before you flash the mod, please make a backup or at least save the files corresponding to the files in the zip. And if you are still odexed like me delete the oat folder under system/priv-app/SystemUI or rename the SystemUI.odex.xz to SystemUI.odex.xz.bak.
Features:
S6 Notification style including Edit
S6 recent style
Multi user
33 toggles
6 visible toggels in portrait and 10 in landscape (thats why is the Edit panel a bit disorded)
secondary symbols on keyboard
show/ hide S Finder and Quick Connect
Ultra data saving mode in toggles and Smart Manager
Toolbox
Notification colors and divider like Android N
S7 Lockscreen (nothing special)
S6/ Note 5 Power menu
Disabled Storage Notification
Album Art on Lock Screen
The contacts are a bit disorded at the header so i use the one from S7. I will also attache this one.
With this mod you will also install two apps, Potato Clock and All in one Gestures. The Gesture app is important because until now i did not find a way to get the menu button back. So i use this app.
Fixes:
disorded action bar in clock and contacts fixed
If you like that mod say thanks and have fun, if not go on.
Bug:
no response of the OK button at sim pin
Download:
here
Thanks to sagitt67 for power menu icons and the fix for the disorded action bar in clock and contacts
